Palworld 1.0 Guide: World Tree, Sunreach & Breeding
Palworld 1.0's Ancient Material Synthesizer ends manual ore grinding for good. Here's the full crafting chain, no fluff, no fairy tales.
You've reached Palworld 1.0 and discovered that Chromite and Corulum still hate you. The Palworld Ancient Material Synthesizer fixes that by turning your base into a bottomless ore hole, provided you survive the crafting chain first. Nobody handed you this for free, and neither will this guide, so pay attention.
Place it, wire it to power, assign one pal with a mining or lumbering stat of at least level 6, pick a material, and walk away. It will produce ore or hardwood forever without you lifting a pickaxe. This is the closest Palworld comes to admitting that farming nodes by hand was always a punishment, not a feature.

Requirement |
Detail |
|
Power |
Must be connected to an electrical source. Obviously. |
|
Assigned Pal |
Mining stat 6+ for ores, Lumbering stat 6+ for wood |
|
Recommended Pal |
Anubis, since its stats make everyone else look decorative |
|
Output speed |
Scales with the assigned pal's actual stat value |
Unlock it in the tech tab, then gather materials. The build is gated behind two resources: Ancient Civilization Cores and the alloy ingots people online can't agree on a single name for.

Material |

Source |
|
Ancient Civilization Cores |
10 |
Pal expedition sites, raid bosses, oil rigs |
|
Pal Alloy Ingots |
50 |
Crafted at the Ancient Furnace (below) |
Ancient Civilization Cores show up in the same places you already grind for other endgame junk, so this part is only mildly infuriating. The ingots are where the real suffering begins.
Pal Alloy Ingots don't exist without this furnace, so build it before complaining that infinite Chromite farming is a scam.

Material |
Quantity |
Notes |
|
Corulum Ingots |
100 |
Craft at any normal furnace from Corulum ore and coal |
|
Ancient Civilization Cores |
required |
Same source as above, go farm more |
|
Thermal Cores |
required |
Made on Production Assembly Line II+ |
|
Computers |
required |
Also made on the assembly line, see below |
Thermal Cores come from flame organs, coal, hexalite, and a corrosive solvent, which itself is just sulfur and venom fed through the assembly line. Computers need circuit boards, pal steel, carbon fiber, and bio batteries, and bio batteries need electric organs, refined ingots, and more carbon fiber. Every ingredient list here exists to remind you that Palworld 1.0 guide content is basically a supply chain simulator now.
The Ancient Furnace refuses to work without two assigned pals: one with a kindling trait and one with a chilling ice trait, both level 6 or higher in their respective work suitability. No kindling pal, no ice pal, no ingots, no synthesizer, no mercy.
|
Ingredient |
Where to get it |
|
Sulfurite |
Mining site at your base, or buy the recipe from the tech tab |
|
Pal Metal Ore |
World Tree area (see below) |
|
World Tree Holy Water |
Dropped by pals inside the World Tree area |
Pal Metal Ore and World Tree Holy Water live inside an area you don't get for free, because of course they do.
Killing pals inside the newly opened area drops World Tree Holy Water at a reasonable rate, so that half is almost pleasant.
The purple Pal Metal rocks vanish the instant an unequipped pal gets near them, because the game enjoys watching you fail. The fix is a rainbow passive skill, which comes from a pal hatched out of an Omnium Egg found scattered around the World Tree zone. Keep that pal in your party and an aura appears around your character, letting you mine the rocks without them despawning out of spite.
|
Stage |
What you need |
|
Ancient Furnace |
Corulum Ingots, Ancient Civilization Cores, Thermal Cores, Computers |
|
Pal Alloy Ingot (x50) |
Sulfurite, Pal Metal Ore, World Tree Holy Water, kindling + ice pals |
|
Ancient Material Synthesizer |
10 Ancient Civilization Cores, 50 Pal Alloy Ingots |
|
Daily use |
Power, one pal at mining/lumbering level 6+ |
Once built, this single device replaces every mining node farming the same ore. Demolish the redundant nodes and reclaim your base space, since you clearly earned it.
That's the whole miserable pipeline behind infinite Corulum farming, laid out so you don't have to relearn it by dying to Penking twice. Build the furnace, suffer through the ingots once, and never manually mine Chromite again.

10 Ancient Civilization Cores and 50 Pal Alloy Ingots, crafted at the Ancient Furnace.
An unequipped pal nearby scares them off. Bring only a pal with the rainbow passive.
Hatch an Omnium Egg found in the World Tree area, or rarely catch one directly there.
Yes, one kindling pal and one chilling ice pal, both level 6+ in their work suitability.
