If you're chasing the Palworld World Tree, understand it's gated behind an actual story requirement, not a suggestion. Beat the arc, get the whale companion, and only then does the door open. Skip it and you'll just stand outside the endgame like a kid locked out of the house, staring through the window at everyone else's loot.
Meanwhile Palworld Sunreach rewards you the moment you show up, mostly because it's easier to reach and Pocketpair felt generous once. Blue grass, floating platforms, and pals you haven't fought before. Bring something that flies, or enjoy watching the scenery from very far below.
Get the accessories from hacking towers early. They outperform half the gear you've been hoarding since early access, and hoarding was never a personality trait worth keeping.

Soralite unlocks at level 66 on the Sun Reach Isles, and yes, you'll need the plasma multicutter to actually mine it. At level 72 the solar light quarry opens up, because apparently one tool was never going to be enough for Pocketpair's sense of humor. Reaching the Palworld level cap 80 eventually gets you into palacite and ancient world tree bark territory, both locked behind the World Tree map specifically.

Walk into the World Tree map without a blessing and the resources vanish the instant you try to mine them. Drink world tree holy water first, or bring a pal with a tier five world tree passive. Otherwise you're just sightseeing.
Speaking of those passives, they're double-edged on purpose. Twin Edge, Holy Blade hands you plus 50% attack for minus 30% defense, which is either genius or a trap depending on how much you enjoy dying with style. Dimensional Leap is the tame cousin: plus 50% movement speed, plus 50% hunger drain, a debuff so mild it barely counts as a punishment

The ancient relic recycler is the one machine worth prioritizing above almost everything else. Feed it relics on their own and it performs like a mildly competent vending machine. Feed it relics with world tree holy water and suddenly it's handing out legendary implants like it owes you money.
Every serious Palworld breeding guide from before 1.0 is now obsolete, because the ancient hatchery at level 76 makes perfect-stat breeding almost trivially reliable. Cakes unlock every fifteen levels starting at 30, and the level 74 special cake pushes passive inheritance to a full 100% guarantee. Two mediocre parents in, a flawless offspring out, repeated as many times as your patience allows.
Pair the special cake with anything that speeds up hatching time, and you'll churn out perfect pals faster than you can name them. Naming things was never your strong suit anyway.

Trees now drop tiered wood, seven new islands surround the main map with fresh bosses and loot, and yes, some things got nerfed into irrelevance, including that Ultrakill collab armor vanishing from church vendors. On the flip side, star fruits now let you instantly promote a pal's star rank, skipping the usual duplicate grind entirely, particularly useful alongside the new Palworld awakening mutation systems that reward hunting rare boss spawns instead of farming duplicates like a machine.
