Palworld Paloxite Ore Farming: Top Spots Guide
Palworld 1.0 dropped new zones and Soralite ore. Here are the 10 best base spots with coordinates: stop building on random fields.
Palworld 1.0 shipped two new regions, seven new islands, and a full overhaul of the old map. Naturally, most of you are still going to build your base on the first flat patch of grass you trip over. This guide exists so you don't have to think, which, judging by your inventory management, is for the best. If you're hunting for the ultimate Palworld 1.0 best base locations, you've found the least condescending version of that answer available online.

We're skipping the old pre-1.0 map entirely. Yes, it got richer with resources, but "richer" now means "everywhere," which means none of it is special anymore. Anyone can point at a flat field and call it a base. We're here for the new stuff: Sun Reach, Feybreak, the World Tree, and the scattered islands nobody bothered naming properly.
A shallow crystallized pool you can build directly into, no aquatic kit required. Flat, open, gorgeous. The catch: Jetragon lives next door as the local Sunreach base location world boss, so build off to the side unless you enjoy explaining to your guild why the base is on fire.
Open ridge with a dense cluster of the new Palworld Soralite ore, the material now gating half the good guns and gear in 1.0. You don't strictly need to camp on it since the Soralite mine unlocks later, but if you like your resources within walking distance, this is the spot.
A flat central zone on one of the new islands, conveniently far from the hidden world boss. No special resources, just a lava flow to build around if you want your base photos to look more interesting than your personality.
A modest desert plateau hiding a hole straight into an underground chamber. Perfect for anyone who's always wanted a "secret bunker" base without doing any actual secret-bunker engineering. Drop a ladder and call it a lifestyle choice.
Same idea as above, except with water at the bottom, greenery, and two mineshaft exits instead of one. This is the better Palworld underground base option if you have any taste at all, which, statistically, you might not.
Flat, open, with pre-built structures to build around and waterfalls doing the aesthetic heavy lifting for you. Tall grass, dramatic vibes, minimal effort. Ideal for people who want compliments on their base without earning them.
Stunning, vertical, and a framerate disaster because the game is apparently also struggling to process this much water. Building here is a genuine challenge. Attempt only if you enjoy suffering for aesthetics, which, given you're reading a base location guide, you probably do.
Stacked rock pillars, ravines, a little bridge, and a world boss you'll need to respect. Great for a hanging-wall base if you want your Pals to question your life choices along with your own.
You still cannot build inside the World Tree itself, so this is as close as your Palworld World Tree base dreams get for now. Requires the aquatic building kit for the lakeside plots, and offers jungle views that almost make up for the disappointment.
The actual headline feature of 1.0: you can now build over any body of water, no exceptions. Palworld aquatic base building turns every lake, pond, and inconvenient ocean into prime real estate. The pillars near the arena at 661, -60 are a solid starting point if you want a castle with zero foundation problems.

No. Building is currently blocked inside the World Tree area entirely, for reasons Pocketpair hasn't clearly explained yet.
Only for deeper water. Shallow pools like Sun Reach's crystal pool let you place foundations directly, no kit needed.
Soralite only spawns in the Sunreach region, making it the defining resource tying new bases to that specific area.
Less than before. Mining structures reduce resource dependency, so aesthetics and workability now matter more than proximity.
Subjective, but the Sun Reach crystal pool balances looks, workability, and resources better than most competing spots.
