WoW Midnight Hara'ti Renown Guide
Noblegarden 2026 is live April 6–13. Eggs, ducks, a pastel bird mount, and one carpet that refuses to drop.
Noblegarden 2026 runs from April 6 to April 13 in the first spring of the WoW: Midnight era. While Xal'atath continues her campaign to feed the Sunwell to the Void and players are mid-progression through the March on Quel'Danas raid, Blizzard has decided that what everyone really needs is a week of sprinting around starting zones grabbing pastel eggs off the ground. The event is, as always, a cheerful monument to cognitive dissonance. The world is ending. Here is a basket. Hop to it.
The 2026 Noblegarden is the first iteration running under the Midnight expansion (Patch 12.0.1), which launched on March 2, 2026. The core mechanics remain unchanged from the 2025 version: same egg hunting in classic starting zones, same chocolate currency, same Daetan Swiftplume holiday boss, same grinding misery: with the Trading Post April 2026 "Tend to Your Garden" theme adding a parallel cosmetic grind for players who enjoy spending two currencies simultaneously.
2026 Context Note: With Silvermoon City now the main hub city of the expansion, Falconwing Square in Eversong Woods remains a Noblegarden egg hunting location: but the revamped zone has changed its layout considerably. The egg spawn coordinates from 2025 guides may be unreliable in the redesigned Eversong. Check in-game map markers and allow extra orientation time if using Falconwing Square as your primary farming spot in 2026.
Noblegarden Chocolates are obtained by opening Brightly Colored Eggs. Each egg contains one chocolate, with a small additional chance to contain a random reward item directly: clothing, pets, mounts, or toys. The chocolate is the currency. The chocolate is also an achievement requirement (you must eat 100 of them for Chocoholic). The chocolate is also the thing you accidentally eat instead of saving when you click the wrong button at two in the morning. It is, in short, a currency designed by someone who wanted you to make catastrophic mistakes.
Chocolates are event-only. They expire when Noblegarden ends on April 13. Spend everything before the event closes or watch your currency vanish as though consumed by the Void, which at this point in the Midnight storyline is at least thematically appropriate.
Do Not Eat The Currency: The Chocoholic achievement requires eating 100 chocolates. The achievement credits eating toward the total, but every chocolate you eat is one fewer chocolate available to purchase rewards. Plan your eating budget before you begin farming so you do not arrive at the vendor with 499 chocolates needed for the mount and only 492 in your bags because you ate eight while watching the queue. This has happened to everyone. It should not happen to you again.

Brightly Colored Eggs spawn in and around the second town of each race's starting zone, plus the expansion hub cities added in recent years. The eggs are hidden on, around, behind, and occasionally inside objects in the environment. The word "hidden" is doing heavy lifting here: most are sitting openly in grass: but some spawn positions are genuinely concealed and require either a thorough lap of the area or an addon to locate efficiently.
*Teldrassil and Tirisfal Glades require speaking to Zidormi to access their pre-destruction versions for egg hunting. Zidormi in Tirisfal is at approximately 69.4, 62.8 near the Ruins of Undercity. Zidormi for Teldrassil is outside Lor'danel in Darkshore at approximately 48.8, 24.4. If you are above level 20 and the zones look apocalyptically wrong, this is why.

The single most important piece of egg farming advice that every guide has given since 2009 and every player has ignored since 2009: complete the introductory quest A Tisket, a Tasket, a Noblegarden Basket (Horde) or A Tisket, a Tasket, a Noblegarden Basket (Alliance) before you begin serious farming. It rewards the Eagger Basket toy and the cosmetic Egg Basket, both providing a 60% speed boost on a 10-second cooldown that functions in egg hunting zones. Without this boost you are running at base speed while everyone else sprints past you. This is a metaphor for several life situations and also a practical disadvantage.

At a rate of roughly 100–150 chocolates per hour depending on zone density and movement speed optimization, completing the full collection from scratch requires approximately 17–26 hours of egg farming across the seven-day event window. This works out to about 2.5–4 hours per day. Whether this is a reasonable way to spend your April is a decision this guide is not qualified to make for you. It is, however, qualified to confirm that the Swift Springstrider does not look significantly different from an aggressively pink tallstrider, which is what it is.
Bind the following macro to a convenient key. Spam it constantly while moving. Cancel the Noblegarden Bunny transform every time you receive it or it will slow you down durings.

Important: The Borrowed Egg Basket given when you accept the introductory quest (before turning it in) provides the same speed boost and does NOT cost chocolates to keep. You only lose 10 chocolates when you actually complete and turn in the quest to receive the permanent Egg Basket and Eagger Basket. Complete the quest. Do not hoard the borrowed basket indefinitely: the permanent version works identically and the Eagger Basket toy works across characters.

Available the moment the event opens. Speak to a Commoner in any major city to receive the opening breadcrumb, then travel to your chosen egg hunting zone and pick up the following quest:

Blossoming Branch: used for Hard Boiled achievement (transforms target into bunny for 1 hour). Do this on day 1 and keep the branch. |
The annual storyline involving the mischievous druid Daetan Swiftplume, who has once again decided that the best way to cope with spring is to unleash a duck invasion on the festive populace of Goldshire and Razor Hill. The questline is optional for farming but mandatory for the Duck Disguiser toy reward and earns Flightstones upon completion.
Start the questline by speaking to Zinnia Brooks in Goldshire (Alliance) or Sylnaria Fareflame in Razor Hill (Horde). The chain proceeds through scouting ducks, obtaining a Duck Potion, revealing Daetan in his duck disguise at coordinates approximately 33.4, 71.0 in Elwynn Forest (Alliance) or equivalent in Durotar (Horde), and ultimately defeating him for the first time. Upon completing the questline you receive the Duck Disguiser toy and a choice of one duck color variant: Mallard, White, Black, Brown, Yellow, or Pink. Pick carefully. You get exactly one per year. Collecting all six variants will require six consecutive years of engagement with this questline, which says something about either Blizzard's content philosophy or your relationship with digital ducks.
Daetan Swiftplume is a druid who objects to Noblegarden on philosophical grounds and has chosen to express this objection by flooding the event grounds with furious ducks. He is the source of the Noble Flying Carpet mount, the Spring Reveler's Turquoise transmog set, and the first-kill Quacked Killer achievement. He is not difficult to defeat. He is difficult to summon, slightly. He is extremely difficult to feel good about after the thirtieth consecutive daily kill with no mount drop.

Multi-Character Strategy: Daetan can be killed once per character per day, with the best mount drop chance on the first kill. Running the daily on every eligible character level 60+ maximizes total attempts. If you have alts parked at appropriate levels, now is the time to deploy them. The Noble Flying Carpet has a ~1% drop rate and seven days in which to refuse to drop it on any of your characters. Do the math on how many daily kills you can execute and plan accordingly. Or do not plan and be surprised by the outcome. Both approaches have been extensively tested by the playerbase.

Every reward purchasable with Noblegarden Chocolates from Noblegarden Vendors (Alliance) and Noblegarden Merchants (Horde) at any egg hunting zone. Items found in Brightly Colored Eggs are indicated. All cosmetic items are transmoggable for the duration of the Noblegarden event.

The Noble Gardener meta-achievement awards the title "[Name] the Noble" and contributes to What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been, which ultimately rewards the Violet Proto-Drake. You need to complete the nine achievements listed below. The two bonus achievements: Sunday's Finest and Dressed for the Occasion: do not count toward the meta and exist solely to provide additional reasons to open more eggs than strictly necessary.
Lay an egg at Golakka Hot Springs in Un'Goro Crater while in Noblegarden Bunny form. The easiest method: accept The Great Egg Hunt daily, get the Blossoming Branch reward, bring a friend to Un'Goro Crater, have them use the Branch on you, sit near the water until your rabbit self lays an egg. Druids: flight form does not break the bunny transform. Fly there directly. Everyone else: plan ahead or accept a friend's mercy.
Use Spring Flowers to place rabbit ears on players of at least eight different races. Target must be level 20 or above. Visit Dalaran or Shattrath for a diverse population. Using /target on players of specific races before applying ears is both efficient and a little antisocial, which seems accurate for this event.
Eat 100 Noblegarden Chocolates during the event. These are the same chocolates you need to buy everything. Budget 100 chocolate for eating. The 25 eaten for Chocolate Lover count toward this total. Do not eat more than 100 unless you enjoy both achievements and poor resource management.
Kiss a player wearing an Elegant Dress while you wear a White Tuxedo Shirt and Black Tuxedo Pants. Only the tuxedo-wearing player receives achievement credit. Wear the dress to help others complete this achievement and call it charity. Or buy all three items and coordinate with a friend. Either approach avoids having to interact with strangers in Goldshire.
Use the Spring Florist's Pouch to plant a flower in The Badlands, Desolace, Silithus, Tanaris, and Thousand Needles. Note: Silithus requires the pre-scar version: speak to Zidormi near Silithus to access the correct version. Do this first. Discovering this only after traveling there is a tradition at this point.
Loot a single Brightly Colored Egg. This achievement will complete itself within 0.3 seconds of you beginning the event. It exists to make the achievement counter look fuller than it is.
Buy a Noblegarden Egg for 5 chocolates from a vendor and hide it in Silvermoon City (Horde) or Stormwind City (Alliance). Right-click anywhere in the appropriate capital city. Right-click your own egg immediately after to receive one chocolate back. The world's most efficient investment.
With the Spring Rabbit pet summoned, find another player with their Spring Rabbit out in each of the four Noblegarden starting zone towns for your faction. The rabbits must be summoned simultaneously near each other. The hearts that appear indicate success. The achievement name requires no further commentary.
Defeat Daetan Swiftplume for the first time. One-time achievement. See the Boss section for summoning instructions. The achievement name belongs in a hall of fame alongside other WoW achievement titles that demonstrate the writing team clearly deserved more recognition.
Loot an Elegant Dress from a Brightly Colored Egg. Vendor-purchased copies do not count. Open enough eggs and it will eventually appear. Cannot be forced. Cannot be traded. Add this to your character's ongoing list of things you have no control over.
Loot both a White Tuxedo Shirt and Black Tuxedo Pants from Brightly Colored Eggs. Purchased copies do not count. The tuxedo must emerge organically from the chaos of egg farming to qualify. This achievement is for players who either got extremely lucky or opened an unconscionable number of eggs.
Optimal Achievement Order (Day 1 Plan): Get Eagger Basket from A Tisket quest. Buy Spring Florist's Pouch (50 choc) and Spring Flowers (50 choc). Buy Spring Rabbit's Foot (100 choc). Get Blossoming Branch from The Great Egg Hunt daily. Go complete Desert Rose across the five zones. Return, summon Spring Rabbit in each faction town for Spring Fling. Buy Noblegarden Egg for Noble Garden. Find a friend for Blushing Bride and Hard Boiled. Shake Your Bunny-Maker via Dalaran. Kill Daetan for Quacked Killer. Eat 100 chocolates across the week for Chocoholic. The Noble Gardener meta will be completed by day 2 or 3 of the event if you follow this order. Everything after that is mount farming, which is simply optimism expressed through repetition.
If you are approaching Noblegarden as a completionist for the first time, the spending order below minimizes redundant farming and ensures achievement objectives are met before discretionary purchases drain your supply.

Bind this to a conveniently spammable key. It cancels the bunny transformation (which slows movement-ability usage), activates the Eagger Basket speed boost, and opens eggs. In one keypress. Repeatedly. For two hours.

The Spring Florist's Pouch line places ambient flowers as you run, making you both efficient and inexplicably charming. Remove it if you find the constant flower-dropping distracting.
Under Options: Gameplay: Combat: Enable Action Targeting, set the Interact key (default F) to trigger on nearby objects. This allows you to press F on eggs as you run past them rather than right-clicking, which is notably faster and reduces the likelihood of accidentally clicking the terrain instead of the egg and losing the spawn to someone with better aim.

Falconwing Square in redesigned Eversong Woods remains a listed egg hunting zone. Silvermoon City itself is not a standalone egg hunt zone but Falconwing Square is immediately adjacent. Verify spawn locations in-game: the zone redesign may have shifted specific egg positions from prior year coordinates.
Farm more eggs. There is no other option. The event lasts seven days. The mount costs 500 chocolates. You ate eight. You have six and a half days remaining. This is recoverable. Farm more eggs.
There is no confirmed bad luck protection on the Noble Flying Carpet. The ~1% drop rate is the ~1% drop rate. Your previous kills do not improve your next kill's odds. Statistics are indifferent to your suffering.
Yes. Obtain the bunny transformation from a Blossoming Branch or egg. Use Druid flight form: this does not break the transformation. Fly directly to Golakka Hot Springs in Un'Goro Crater. Sit near the water. Wait for your rabbit self to lay an egg. The entire process takes under fifteen minutes.
Most achievements are account-wide. The Noble Gardener meta-achievement credit applies to the account. Specific daily kill limits (Daetan Swiftplume) are per character, meaning alts can farm additional daily chances at the Noble Flying Carpet.
Because someone at Blizzard has a sense of humor about cosmetic pricing and this is their annual contribution to the discourse. Buy the 10-silver one. Or buy the expensive one. It is your gold.
Yes, if you want that year's Duck Disguiser color variant. The questline resets annually. Each year awards one disguise color choice from six options. This is either a commitment-encouraging design or a deeply specific test of player persistence spanning half a decade. Possibly both.
