Mounts: The Part You Actually Care About

Two distinct mount families are expected this month, and in what has become an annual tradition of cruelty, you almost certainly cannot afford both with a single month's Tender. Congratulations on being a collector.

What Is This, and Why Should You Care

Every month, the Trading Post refreshes with new cosmetic garbage: sorry, cosmetic rewards: that you can purchase using Trader's Tender. You earn that currency by subscribing (500 free) and completing the Traveler's Log activities (up to 500 more). That means 1,000 Tender per month if you actually play the game, which, statistically, most of you don't enough to afford all the shiny things Blizzard is dangling in front of your face.

April 2026's theme is "Tend to Your Garden": which, given the expansion is WoW: Midnight and the world is being consumed by Void, is either charming irony or Blizzard's design team on autopilot. Vendors T&W (Tawney and Wilder) in Stormwind and Zen'shiri in Orgrimmar will have the goods. Show up. Spend everything. Regret nothing.

Also four colors, and here is the elegant detail: all four Snapvine color schemes match the four Snail color schemes exactly. Blizzard did this on purpose. They know you want matching sets. They priced them accordingly. The Snapvines are flying mounts, confirmed Trading Post items in the Midnight expansion files, currently tagged at approximately 600 Tender each. The confirmed Trading Post candidate from datamining is the Savage Snapvine. The other Snapvine variants exist in the files but are not yet confirmed for specific months.

THE MATH PROBLEM: Two snails (~800 Tender total) plus one Snapvine (~600 Tender) equals 1,400 Tender. You earn 1,000. You are already 400 short and you haven't looked at the transmog section yet. Blizzard has run this calculation for you and they find it delightful.

Gnomish Garden Sets (Recolored)

Gnomish-themed transmog sets were introduced at the Trading Post previously (some debuted in April 2025's rotation, and two color variants were never used). This month is expected to bring those unused recolors to the public. The sets are comical, garden-coded, and feature chunky gnome-style aesthetics. If you enjoy looking like a lawn ornament while clearing Mythic content, this month is made for you.

Accompanying these sets are two categories of matching weapons that push the garden theme aggressively past the point of subtlety.

Garden-Themed Weapons

Datamined weapon models include the following expected Trading Post additions, available in four color tints (matching the snail/snapvine palette, because Blizzard loves a coordinated assault on your Tender savings):

• Pepe Planter Item: a weapon resembling an Eldon-style planter with Pepe the bird sitting inside. Adorable. Horrifying. Transmog enabled.
• Rake Polearm (P-Arm variant): exactly what it sounds like: a garden rake you use as a weapon. The audacity.
• Garden Sword: a blade clearly grown from the same soil as the rest of this month's aesthetic.
• Garden Staff with Snail Finial: a staff with a small snail perched on top. The best item this month. No debate.

All four weapon categories are expected in four color tints: orange/brown, lavender, purple, and pink: again matching the snail and vine color families. This is either beautiful coordination or a single design document that got cloned four times. Possibly both.

April is also Noblegarden month: running April 6-13, 2026, give or take Blizzard's calendar management skills. The Trading Post and the holiday are expected to overlap in the most lucrative way possible. Several new cosmetic items datamined for the "garden" theme slot into Noblegarden's spring aesthetic perfectly.

Crown of Spring Flowers (Multiple Colors)

New flower-crown head cosmetics with multiple color variants have been datamined and are expected at the Trading Post this month. Not all variants have Tender attached in the files: only specific colors appear to be Trading Post targets. Expect at least the yellow and one additional color to be available. The rest are presumably funneled through the Shop, promotions, or sheer spite.

A matching hat variant with flowers attached is also expected, offering a slightly more structured alternative to the full floral crown aesthetic for those of you with dignity problems.

Noblegarden Activities Count Toward the Traveler's Log

If you actually want to earn your 500 bonus Tender this month, participate in the Noblegarden festivities. Activities like using Spring Flowers in PvP and completing Noblegarden holiday objectives are confirmed Traveler's Log activities. The Noblegarden PvP Spring Flowers activity is one of the more creative ways the Trading Post forces you to humiliate someone in a battleground while dressed as a garden party.

Standard Noblegarden rewards this year include the Swift Springstrider mount (500 Noblegarden Chocolates, same as always, still pink, still great), pets, and circlets you've seen before. New items specific to 2026 Noblegarden have not been officially confirmed at time of writing: but datamining suggests fresh additions tied to the holiday boss.

THE FREEZE SLOT REMINDER: You get exactly one (1) freeze slot per month. It holds an item beyond its rotation window so you can buy it later when you've saved enough Tender. Use it on your most expensive mount target if you can't afford it outright this cycle.

The fastest ways to fill your Traveler's Log in April 2026:

• Noblegarden Activities (April 6-13): use Spring Flowers, collect Noblegarden chocolates, complete the seasonal quests. Multiple log activities fire simultaneously during event week.
• Midnight Season 1 Raid Content: each new boss kill in the current season's raids ticks log objectives. If you raid, you're already done.
• Delves and World Content: running Delves in Quel'Thalas counts toward multiple monthly objectives. Not glamorous, but effective.
• PvP During Noblegarden: the Noblegarden PvP activity contributes double-dips between the Trading Post log and seasonal holiday achievements.
• Mythic+ Dungeons: completing any Mythic+ key contributes. Exactly as productive as it sounds, and twice as exhausting.
