WoW Twitch Drop April 2026 Guide

The Cuddly Void Grrgle is a housing decor item: a small, void-themed plush murloc that you can place inside (or outside) your in-game player house in WoW: Midnight. It is black and purple. It has big eyes, tentacles, and the general aesthetic of something that crawled out of Xal'atath's nightmare and decided to be adorable about it. It is approximately one of the most unthreatening things the Void has ever produced.

This is the fourth Grrgle plushie color released as a Twitch Drop during the Midnight expansion cycle. Community reaction, predictably, ranges from "I need ten of them" to "I cannot believe they did another murloc recolor." Both groups are correct, and both groups are going to watch the four hours anyway.

How to Claim the Drop in Four Painful Steps

1. Link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts. Go to account.battle.net/connections and click the Twitch connect button. If you've changed your Twitch or Battle.net password since last time, you need to relink. There is a 7-day cooldown after relinking before you can link a new Twitch account. Blizzard loves a 7-day cooldown.
2. Watch 4 hours of any eligible WoW stream on Twitch. It does not have to be the same channel. You can split the time across multiple streams. The channel simply needs to be a Twitch Partner or Affiliate streaming with the "World of Warcraft" category set. Stream must be live: no, VODs do not count.
3. Claim the drop from your Twitch Drops Inventory. Go to twitch.tv/drops/inventory after accruing your 4 hours and hit the claim button. Do not forget this step. The drop will not deliver itself to your Battle.net account without a manual claim. Many people forget this step every single time.
4. Log into the correct Battle.net region. The first region you log into after claiming is where the item will be delivered. If you want it on EU, log into EU first. If you accidentally log into a different region first, your plush void murloc will be stranded there until you go find it. Blizzard confirmed delivery can take up to 24 hours after claiming.

Where to Find the Item In-Game (and Buy More Copies)

Once you've claimed the drop and logged in, the Cuddly Void Grrgle will appear in your Housing Decor catalog. It can be placed in both interior and exterior housing spaces. Its tiny size makes it ideal for shelves, corners, or densely packed arrangements that say something about the owner's personality.

If you want additional copies: and given that there's reportedly no cap, you could theoretically fill an entire room floor-to-ceiling with void murlocs: you can purchase extras from the following vendors once you've claimed at least one copy via the drop:

The vendor purchase option only unlocks after you claim the item from the Twitch Drop first. You cannot buy your way to the Void Grrgle without having done the viewing requirement. Blizzard has a warm sense of fairness about these things.

Note that the Alliance Blue and Horde Red Grrgles were released simultaneously as a pair during the Midnight expansion launch celebration drop (Feb 26 – Mar 26). At the same time, the Fishmonger May battle pet: an aquatic seal companion: was available via the "Support a Streamer" campaign: gifting 2 Twitch subscriptions to any eligible WoW streamer during that same window. The pet and the plushies were separate rewards requiring separate actions.

MISSED A GRRGLE? If you missed the Green, Alliance Blue, or Horde Red variants, all three can now be purchased from Tuuran (Stormwind), Gabbi (Orgrimmar), or Dennia Silvertongue (Silvermoon City) for 500 gold each: but only if you previously claimed them via the Twitch Drop at least once. If you never claimed the drop, the vendor option is locked. There is currently no second chance beyond that. Yes, you should have watched the stream.

While the Cuddly Void Grrgle drop runs through April 23, several other limited-time WoW promotions are also currently active or recently active. None of them require you to do anything particularly difficult, which is the most generous thing Blizzard has done all expansion.
