BO7 Season 3 Dark Ops Link Forger Glitch Guide

The Link Forger Glitch is not a single encounter. It is a multi-wave, multi-area gauntlet that teleports you to different locations and makes increasingly unreasonable demands of your time and sanity. Below is what you will face, in order, because knowing what's coming is the only advantage this game is legally required to give you.

WAVE 1: Eliminate All Hostiles Before Timer Expires.

Standard entry-level chaos. Clear the area before the clock decides your fate. The Glitch DAWGs (shielded dogs) appear here: this is your window for the Go Fetch Dark Op. Let them throw equipment. Throw it back. Stop celebrating, there are five more waves.

WAVE 2: Eliminate 2 HVT Glitch DAWGs.

Two high-value target shielded dogs. They have shields. They deploy equipment. You know what to do. If you haven't completed Go Fetch yet, this is your second chance. There will not be a third.

WAVE 3: Secure 2 Zones.

Defense objective. Stay inside the zones. Do not leave. Do not get downed outside them. This is exactly where the Ballistic Shell ability earns its place in your loadout. In co-op, split coverage. Solo, pick the zone where more enemies come from and live with your choices.

WAVE 4: Defeat HVT Disciple by the Church.

A mini-boss that launches airstrikes at your position. The solution is elegant in its simplicity: go into cover. The Disciple telegraphs its attacks. Let it. Get behind something solid. Eliminate it. Move on.

WAVE 5: Collect Glitch Fracture Shards: Deposit in Center of Arena.

Sniper enemies drop Glitch Fracture Shards when eliminated. Pick them up. Carry them to the center of the arena. Solo players need 8 shards. Co-op players stack contributions. This is the closest thing to a "rest phase" you will experience in this mission. Do not be deceived.

WAVE 6: Defeat the Skybreaker Boss. 

The Skybreaker is a teleporting Guild robot with missile strike capabilities. It glows red before launching. When you see red, run. Do not get hit. Do not get stunned. This is the Elusive Dark Op condition. The boss will chase individual players in co-op, giving others breathing room. Solo, you are the only player. You are always the target. Good luck.
