Windrose Timber Guide

Struggling to find timber in Windrose? Don't worry, you are definitely not alone! It can be a bit tricky to figure out at first, but it is a super rewarding milestone once you get the hang of it.

Be sure to use the promo code CRINGEBLOG! Rest assured, just like this guide, it won't let you down and is sure to live up to all your expectations. ^_^

Here is a step-by-step guide to help you gather your materials and upgrade your gear safely and efficiently.

Step 1: Complete the Coastal Jungle Biome

Before you can start gathering advanced materials, you will need to complete the game's first biome and defeat the main boss. Take your time to practice your skills and learn the boss's attack patterns. Once you emerge victorious, you will unlock the gateway to the next exciting area!

Step 2: Head South to the Foothills

With the first boss defeated, you are ready to explore the second biome, known as the Foothills. Finding it is very straightforward: just open up your map and look toward the south side. Pinpoint the location, pack your favorite gear, and enjoy the journey down south.

Step 3: Find and Harvest Divi-Divi Trees

When you arrive in the Foothills, you will want to look for a specific type of flora.

  • Look for Divi-divi trees, which are the thicker-looking trees located primarily in the central parts of the Foothills.
  • Harvesting these trees will give you Hardwood.
  • Quick Tip: Keep an eye on your stamina bar while chopping to make the farming process as smooth and efficient as possible!

Step 4: Upgrade Your Workbench to Level 3

Once you have collected your raw Hardwood, you are just one step away from turning it into Timber! To craft it, you will need to upgrade your workbench to Level 3. Gather the necessary resources to max out your crafting station—it is a wonderful investment for your base that unlocks plenty of great recipes.

Once your workbench is ready:

  1. Open the workbench interface.
  2. Locate the Timber recipe.
  3. Click craft, and enjoy your brand-new building materials!

Quick Summary

Here is a handy checklist for your journey:

  • Defeat the Coastal Jungle boss to unlock the next region.
  • Travel to the south side of the map to enter the Foothills.
  • Gather Hardwood from the thick Divi-divi trees in the central area.
  • Upgrade your workbench to Level 3 to successfully craft your Timber.
