Warframe Railjack Uranus Proxima: Kuva Wytch Farm Guide

You need to complete Jade Shadows: Constellations quest first. No shortcuts. The quest unlocks Uranus Proxima and the Pontis Tower hub. If you haven't done it, close this tab, do the quest, come back. The Pontis Tower is your new home base: it has a vendor, a crew management terminal, and the only way to recruit Ryoku or Vena into your squad.

CRITICAL: Crew changes must be made from your Dry Dock BEFORE loading into Pontis Tower. The game will not remind you. You will forget.

Uranus Proxima: What's Actually Here

Three nodes. Pontis Tower (hub), The Kuva Wytch (Skirmish Against Vena), and Scoria's Angel (Skirmish Against Ryoku). Archwing is disabled in both missions: the game wants you in the ship or on foot, not floating around being useless. You also get unlimited Revolite, Ordnance Munitions, and Dome Charges. The one generous thing they did.

No personal Railjack? Irrelevant. Warframe Railjack missions here are designed to be accessible: you can board Ryoku's ship Santovan's Oath or Vena's ship The Marrowbone without owning anything. Both come pre-maxed at Rank 10 Intrinsics across all classes.

The Kuva Wytch Mission: Step by Step

The faster of the two missions on non-Steel Path. Start it solo from Pontis Tower if you want to bring your own Railjack: the Navigation menu start locks you into Ryoku's ship. For everything else, use Navigation. The mission mixes space combat with on-foot objectives inside capital ships.

1. Board Railjack. Destroy Infested boarding parties. Repair hazards. Move on.
2. Space combat: kill Fighters and at least one Crewship (use Forward Artillery). Solo: five Fighters max.
3. Fly into the Shattered Moon, locate and destroy four Turrets on the Corpus facility.
4. Board the Corpus ship. The Maw weapon is here. Destroy things. Advance.
5. Crash the Maw into Vena's ship. You are now inside her ship.
6. Optional but do it: Locate five orange terminals in sequence to unlock the secret room (Karotic Signa cosmetic). Do this BEFORE engaging Vena.
7. Kill the Bloodfrenzied Sister and her bodyguards. Required. Not optional.
8. Fight Vena. Two combat phases. Win. Extract.

NOTE: The secret console sequence locks permanently once you engage Vena. Do the puzzle first. Do it solo. Knockdown immunity (Primed Sure Footed) is strongly recommended: Bloodfrenzy enemies spam CC.

Sirius & Orion is the 65th Warframe. It is two Warframes sharing one slot and having a disagreement for eternity. You need four blueprints: one main, three components. All drop from both Kuva Wytch and Scoria's Angel at a flat 14.29% each. RNG will disrespect you. That's why the Sirius Orion Warframe farm has a pity system.

Worst case: 545 tokens total to buy everything outright. Pick one mission and run it until you stack enough currency, rather than splitting runs between both. Emerald Talents farm from Kuva Wytch, Crimson Talents from Scoria's Angel. Hunhow in Pontis Tower accepts both for components.

Weapons: What Drops Where

Both missions can drop Sirius & Orion parts. But signature weapons are mission-locked. The Kuva Wytch exclusively drops Pride Scythe blueprints. Scoria's Angel drops Wrath Scythe parts. If you want the Pride Scythe blueprint, you're not leaving Kuva Wytch. At least one Pride or Sirius-Orion part is guaranteed before mission end: the single mercy this game extends.

Also hidden here: War Prime. Craft Hunhow's Trinket (12 Crimson + 12 Emerald Talents, plus Nitain Extracts, Orokin Cell, Argon Crystal, 15k Credits). 12 hours at the forge. The Trinket gives you War Prime. It's not advertised. You'd miss it entirely if you didn't look.

Recruiting Ryoku & Vena

Both are recruitable as crew members. Access crew management from the Dry Dock terminal before entering Pontis Tower: this cannot be stressed enough. The game makes you think you can do it from the hub. You cannot. recruit Ryoku Vena crew Warframe queries flood support forums for exactly this reason.

• Ryoku: Ash Protoframe. Calculated. Employs cloaking and precision strikes. Better for solo.
• Vena: Garuda Wytch. Gleeful about bloodshed. Commands The Marrowbone with maximum aggression.

Karotic Signa: The Hidden Cosmetic

Inside Kuva Wytch's final ship, five orange consoles must be activated in exact sequence before the Vena boss encounter. Interact with them wrong or in the wrong order and the room locks. Interact with them after triggering Vena and the room locks. It's not difficult: it's just designed to punish people who rush.

The Karotic Signa puzzle Warframe reward appears in your Arsenal under Warframe Appearance > Attachments after mission completion. No crafting. No resources. Just patience and the willingness to read a guide before charging headfirst into the boss.

BUG (current patch): Mission rewards may fail to register if you Abandon after extracting into your Railjack. Re-run Kuva Wytch from Railjack mission control, then Abandon mid-run to force the fix.

Steel Path vs. Normal

Normal Kuva Wytch yields 12–16 Emerald Talents per run (players report 20+ regularly, possibly due to bonuses not yet documented). Steel Path yields 18–22. One guaranteed Arcane drops at mission end from either mission. The Steel Path Railjack Uranus version offers more currency but the same blueprint drop rates. Run normal until you're comfortable with the mission layout, then decide if the Steel Path delta is worth it.
