All 10 Scenic Spot Locations – Monument of Triumph

Bungie decided the best way to celebrate a decade of Destiny 2 was to send you on a forced sightseeing tour. Ten locations. Ten scenic spots. One triumph. Zero excuses for missing them. Each spot is a standing-still-and-looking challenge: the rarest endgame activity of all.

Hey, Guardian. We do not have specific offers for Momentum… and as our sorry, we provide you a CRINGEBLOG promocode, it works for every offer. And you can create your custom offer for Momentum almost free.

This guide covers every location, how to reach it, and what awaits you in the Monument of Triumph rewards pool when you drag yourself back to the Tower.

Why You Are Even Doing This

The Monument of Triumph launched June 9, 2026, as Destiny 2's final live-service update. No more seasons. No more seasonal resets. The Scenic Spot triumph is one node in a system of Legendary Marks: the returning currency tied to completing Triumphs spanning the game's full nine-year history. Destination triumphs like this one are among the fastest completions. You visit. You collect. You leave. You are Legendary Marks richer.

The Destiny 2 scenic triumph locations span every major patrol zone still active: Cosmodrome, Dreaming City, EDZ, Eternity, Europa, Moon, Nessus, Neomuna, Pale Heart, and Throne World. Miss one and the triumph stays incomplete. Legendary Marks do not care about your schedule.

How to Reach It

01

Cosmodrome

Earth: Steppes Area

Patrol

Spawn at the Steppes fast travel. Head toward the rusted overpass northeast of spawn. The spot sits at the ridge overlooking the decayed launchpad. Face the rocket gantry. Done.

02

Dreaming City

The Reef: Divalian Mists

Patrol

Fast travel to Divalian Mists. Follow the left cliff wall toward the Blind Well entrance. Before descending, veer right toward the overlook above the crystal spires. The prompt appears at the ledge edge, where the alabaster towers frame the Traveler's distant light. If you fall into the Well you overshot it.

03

European Dead Zone

Earth: Winding Cove

Patrol

Spawn at Winding Cove. Cross the river heading south. Climb the rocky hill on the right side of the dam structure. Spot is on the summit facing the Cabal drop pods in the valley. The EDZ is large. This one eats time. Budget accordingly.

04

Eternity

Vex Simulation Zone

Activity Node

Access Eternity via the Director under Crucible Ops or Legacy nodes. Inside the simulation, follow the main corridor until the Vex lattice bridge section. The scenic spot is on the left platform above the bridge, where the infinite-sky skybox is visible. You will know it when the existential dread peaks.

05

Europa

Rathmore Chaos: Eventide Ruins

Patrol

Fast travel to Eventide Ruins. Head northwest toward the cliffside above the Bray Exoscience exterior. The spot is on the icy plateau at the edge of the map. The aurora is permanent now. Appreciate it. Stasis Aspect unlocks are also here from the Exo Stranger, if you are somehow still missing those in 2026.

06

Moon

Ocean of Storms: Anchor of Light

Patrol

Spawn at Anchor of Light fast travel. Climb the central comm tower structure. The scenic spot is at the top platform. Earth hangs in the sky. You are standing on the Moon. Try to feel something. Fail. Collect triumph. Move on.

07

Nessus

Arcadian Valley: Cistern

Patrol

Fast travel to The Cistern. Head toward the giant Vex conflux tree. Climb the left root structure rising from the red-canopy floor. Spot is on the upper root, looking out over the bioluminescent canopy. Nessus remains one of the most visually distinctive patrol zones. This is not a compliment to your taste for liking it. It just is.

08

Neomuna

Neptune: Zephyr Concourse

Patrol

Spawn at Zephyr Concourse. Head toward the upper skybridge on the eastern edge. The spot overlooks the neon cityline and the Veil structure in the distance. Strand Aspects from the Pouka Pond in Hall of Heroes are also nearby. Collect both and make the trip worthwhile.

09

Pale Heart

The Traveler Interior

Patrol

Spawn at The Landing. Follow the path toward The Blooming. At the transition between zones, the cliff on the right opens to a lookout above the crystalline forest. Spot is there. The Final Shape campaign is required to access this destination. If you do not own it, this is your punishment.

10

Savathun's Throne World

Fynch's Domain: Quagmire

Patrol

Fast travel to The Quagmire. Head northwest along the swamp path past the Hive structures. The scenic spot is on the raised stone platform at the swamp's edge, overlooking the palace spire through the amber haze. Fynch is nearby if you need a reminder of what joy sounds like.

Practical Notes for the Impatient

  1. Complete the Monument of Triumph onramp quest first: visit the Tower and interact with the Monument in the center courtyard. Some triumph categories require this step to register.
  2. The Scenic Spot triumph is part of the Destination category. Access progress under Journey tab, Monument of Triumph section, or via any Tenet vendor screen using the "View Triumphs" button.
  3. Distortion windows: one destination empowers per hour: do not affect scenic spot availability. These spots are always accessible. Save Distortion windows for actual loot farming.
  4. New players at Power 10: loot drops at 300+ as a catch-up. Do not skip patrol zones on the way to scenic spots. Free gear is free gear.
  5. Vault capacity is now 1,300 slots. You have room. Stop using that as the reason you are not playing.

NOTE: Monument of Triumph is Destiny 2's final live-service update. The game runs indefinitely. Triumphs do not expire. The Immortal Title, however, requires completion by September 30, 2026, for the physical shirt reward. Whether you want that shirt is a character question, not a gameplay one.

What You Actually Get

Completing the Scenic Spots triumph contributes to your total Legendary Marks balance. These fund the new four-vendor economy at the Monument of Triumph in the Tower courtyard. The Tenet of Bravery vendor must be purchased first: it unlocks the other three. This is deliberately annoying.

Destination Notes Worth Keeping

Cosmodrome & EDZ

Both are Earth-based patrol zones available free to all players. The Cosmodrome is the recommended starting point for the New Light quest: Shaw Han is there and has been there since Beyond Light, loyally waiting while you ignored him for years. The EDZ remains the largest open-world patrol in the base game. The scenic spot in Winding Cove is also your introduction to the fact that Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph destinations still reward patrol farming through the Distortion system.

Europa & Moon

Two frozen, oppressive destinations that both overdeliver on atmosphere. Europa's scenic spot triumph location sits in Rathmore Chaos near the Bray Exoscience exterior: the same area relevant for Deep Stone Crypt prep. The Moon's Anchor of Light comm tower has a vertical climb that will remind you whether your jump ability is actually equipped correctly.

Dreaming City & Throne World

Both destinations feature multi-layered verticality that makes precise navigation descriptions approximate at best. The Dreaming City's alabaster crystal architecture looks exactly like you expect from a destination that once cursed itself on a three-week cycle. Savathun's Throne World is amber-lit swamp with occasional moments of genuine dread. Neither apologizes for the traversal required. The Destiny 2 Legendary Marks from completing both are the same rate as anywhere else. The scenery is purely punitive.

Nessus & Neomuna

Nessus remains structurally alien: Vex geometry interlocked with red-canopy bioluminescent trees, an aesthetic combination that should not work but does. The Monument of Triumph scenic spots on Nessus are placed where the Cistern's conflux architecture is most visible. Neomuna is Neptune's neon-lit corporate city, home to the Strand subclass unlock via the Pouka Pond. Visiting Neomuna's scenic spot and collecting Strand Aspects in the same trip is efficient behavior.

Pale Heart & Eternity

The Pale Heart is inside the Traveler and requires The Final Shape expansion. Eternity is the Vex simulation zone accessible from the Director. Both are visually unlike any other destination in the Destiny 2 patrol zone scenic triumph list: the Pale Heart for its crystalline biome architecture, Eternity for its void-sky simulation aesthetic. If you need a reason to revisit endgame destinations, the Monument of Triumph Triumphs across raids, dungeons, and destination categories provide a structured excuse to see all of them again.

All 10 Scenic Spot Locations – Monument of Triumph FAQ

Do scenic spots expire or have a time limit?

No. Monument of Triumph runs indefinitely. The game is not shutting down. Take your time. The spots are not going anywhere.

Do I need all paid expansions to complete all 10 spots?

Pale Heart requires The Final Shape. Neomuna requires Lightfall. The other eight destinations are accessible free. Plan your disappointment accordingly.

How many Legendary Marks does the scenic triumph reward?

Exact Mark values are per-category and confirmed through in-game Triumph inspection. Check the Monument of Triumph tab for current values.

Can I track which scenic spots I have already visited?

Yes. Journey tab, Monument of Triumph category. Individual destination node completion is tracked per spot, not per zone.

What happens if I already visited all destinations before the update?

Scenic Spots are specific triumph-trigger interactions, not passive destination visits. Prior patrol time does not auto-complete them. You still have to go.
