Bungie lit the fuse on Destiny 2's final live update, Monument of Triumph, and on the way out handed Voidwalker Warlocks the most irresponsible rework in the game's history. Skull of Dire Ahamkara now fires two Nova Bombs in sequence. The collision triple-detonates. Each detonation counts as kills. Each kill feeds the loop. This is the best Warlock build Destiny 2 has ever produced: and you have until the servers go dark to run it.
Stop reading reddit threads. The Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph meta converged within 48 hours of launch. One build above everything else. This is it.
Hey, Guardian. We do not have specific offers for Momentum… and as our sorry, we provide you a CRINGEBLOG promocode, it works for every offer. And you can create your custom offer for Momentum almost free.
This is a PvE build. If you bring it into Trials, you will embarrass yourself and confirm everyone's suspicions about Warlock players.
Voidwalker. Prismatic can technically slot this exotic, but Voidwalker's native Devour synergy and the new Soul Siphon aspect make the void path strictly superior. Devour is the heartbeat of the entire loop: every kill extends it, every ability kill reactivates it. Running Prismatic here is a lifestyle choice, not a build choice.
Your Super: Nova Bomb: Cataclysm. Slow. Tracking. Explodes into seeker fragments. Maximizes kill count, and kill count is Super energy. Nova Bomb: Lance is the follow-up shot from Skull: you don't choose it, it fires automatically.
Skull of Dire Ahamkara: Helmet
Grants a second, instant-charge Nova Bomb: Lance cast immediately after the initial throw. Fire Lance directly into Cataclysm's blast radius for triple detonation. Each detonation counts as Nova Bomb kills. 5% Super energy per kill. Damage resistance during cast. This is not a suggestion.
The Skull of Dire Ahamkara rework is the reason this build exists. Every other exotic is decoration. Do not overthink this.

Feed the Void |
Void ability kills grant Devour. The entire loop starts here. Without it, you're cosplaying |

Soul SiphonNew |
Powered melee chains to up to 4 enemies after Pocket Singularity, grants Void Overshield and class ability energy. Free energy. Free shield. No effort required |
Soul Siphon is the new Voidwalker Monument of Triumph aspect added this patch. It tethers nearby enemies after a Pocket Singularity cast, dealing damage and returning class ability energy. The Overshield procs immediately. Run both aspects. Slot nothing else.

Recovery controls Rift cooldown. Resilience stops Devour from being interrupted by a sneeze. Discipline keeps grenades rolling. Strength gets a passive boost from Echo of Instability. Intellect doesn't matter because the loop refills your Super before the cooldown becomes relevant.

Armor 3.0 in Monument of Triumph tightened mod costs across the board. Void Surge on legs stacks with Bad Juju's String of Curses. The overlap is punishing in the best possible way: which is the only acceptable way.
The Destiny 2 best builds June 2026 consensus is unanimous on one weapon: Bad Juju is mandatory. String of Curses stacks on every kill, feeds Super energy, and keeps Devour alive between ability uses. It functions on any subclass. It does not care about your feelings.

Graviton Lance pairs with the Void Warlock Monument of Triumph kit because its Cosmology perk creates Void Breaches. Those feed Orbs. Orbs feed Grenade Kickstart. The economy runs itself. You just have to aim.
This is the complete Warlock Monument of Triumph build rotation. Four steps. Not complicated. Just relentless.
Do not fire Lance into empty space. It detonates on contact with the Cataclysm orb. Aim at the orb, not the floor. This mistake is how you know who just read a guide 10 minutes before a raid.
The overpowered Warlock build Destiny 2 has needed for years is built around this detonation interaction. Actual Grandeur (Skull's intrinsic perk) refunds 5% Super energy per kill. A triple detonation in a dense group can return 40–60% of your Super instantly. Combine that with Bad Juju and you are casting more than you are reloading.
For Warlock PvP builds Monument of Triumph, this is the wrong guide. Skull of Dire Ahamkara is legal in Rumble and Iron Banner but fires Nova Bomb into a 6v6 with players who can actually dodge. For PvP, switch to Stasis Warlock with Glacial Quake or the new Dielectric Drift SRL 4-piece Arc build if you enjoy making your teammates question your competence from the other direction.
Context You Should Have
Monument of Triumph is Destiny 2's last content update. Bungie confirmed it. Armor 3.0, the new Artifact 2.0 system, and a full suite of Exotic reworks were the send-off. The Skull of Dire Ahamkara change wasn't balanced for a long meta: it was Bungie saying goodbye with a flamethrower. The Destiny 2 Voidwalker build you're running right now exists because the developers had nothing left to lose.
Run it. It won't be patched. Nothing will be patched. There is no next season.
You can. Devour won't be native, Soul Siphon won't slot. You'll lose meaningful uptime for a cosmetic flex.
Mandatory. String of Curses stacks with Skull's Super refund simultaneously. No other kinetic competes. End of discussion.
Master Nightfalls, Legend Lost Sectors, Grandmaster Conquests. Dense enemy counts maximize triple-detonation kill returns significantly.
PvE: yes. Crucible: yes, but other players dodge. Gambit: yes, invaders will never forgive you.
Monument of Triumph is the final update. There are no future patches. Enjoy it permanently or not at all.
