Haven's Hollow is the Warzone Resurgence map introduced in Season 1 of Black Ops 7, developed primarily by High Moon Studios and released on December 4, 2025. New areas: the Train Station, Lumbermill, Riverboat, and Coal Depot: expand the playable space significantly beyond anything seen in the Zombies mode.

The map is comparably smaller than Rebirth Island in terms of travel time, but is dense with multi-floor interiors, elevated rooftops, underground tunnels, and vertical zip lines. The log stacks create unpredictable sightlines and excellent cover for ambushes.

• Destroy the boarded windows with explosives first, then Tomahawk the door planks.
• Log pile cover is best used for cross-map flanks, not prolonged fights.

The Haven's Gamble is a luxury paddleboat moored on the river at the southern tip of the map, expanded from what BO6 players saw in Liberty Falls. Three full decks to loot, a lower-deck casino with a slot machine Easter Egg, and a boardwalk offering mid-range engagement options. The top deck includes a drumset referencing a famous buddy comedy film. Water exits allow escaping if things go wrong, and the surrounding coast provides flanking options along the riverbank.

Tactical Tips

• Safer early drop: less contested than Mansion or Research Center.
• Spin the slot machine (costs $500, wins up to $20,000) for the Jackpot Easter Egg.
• Rooftop of the boat provides excellent overwatch toward Coal Depot.
• River swimming is a last-resort escape: you're vulnerable in the water.

Bonus Location: Waterfall Cave (North) Hidden behind the waterfall in the far north, this secret cave contains multiple Legendary weapons, Supply Crates, and a treasure map leading to one of 11 buried treasure locations across the map. Enter by parachuting through the waterfall opening at the start of a match, or use the lower entrance and take the ascender upward.

Buried Treasure

4. Travel to the marked location and use the "Dig" prompt to unearth the chest.

Security Room

Reward: Advanced UAV + "Security Booth" Calling Card + Loot

1. Drop at the East Security Building near the Research Center.
2. Go to the 2nd floor and interact with 2 computers to begin purging systems.
3. Head to the 1st floor and interact with 2 more computers until all glow orange.
4. Use the keyboard in the same room to reveal a 6-digit code.
5. Cross the street and enter the code into the Security Pin keypad.

Jackalope

Reward: 2 Specialist Perks + "Beast Keepsake" Weapon Decal

1. Land near the Pond and search for a rabbit with a purplish-blue glow.
2. The rabbit spawns randomly and runs around the water's edge.
3. Shoot the rabbit to receive a mounted jackalope head.
4. Carry the trophy to the cabin just north of the Pond.
5. Mount the jackalope head above the fireplace inside the cabin.

Pied Piper

Reward: Secret Underground Facility Access + Calling Card

1. Land at the Mansion. Find and take the blue fuse from the power terminal on the ground floor.
2. Cross to the shed opposite the fountain and insert the fuse in the electrical socket.
3. Locate the three yellow cheese blocks inside the Mansion and shoot the nearby mousetraps.
4. Solve the note puzzle in the attic and play the correct notes at the outdoor fountain.
5. A hidden underground facility entrance will be revealed.

Blood Moon Ritual

Reward: "Blood Moon Ritual" Calling Card + Map Transformation

1. Collect ritual symbols from multiple Mansion locations (attic items linked to symbols).
2. Travel to the Barn POI and place the items on their matching symbol markers.
3. A pillar with a sword appears at the ritual site center: collect the sword.
4. Kill 5 opponents within the yellow-highlighted ritual area on your map.
5. Complete the ritual: eldritch tentacles appear in the sky and the map transforms under a Blood Moon.

Cowboy

Reward: "Wanted" Contract for your whole team + Bounty mode

1. Land on the old western part of Main Street (across from the Riverboat).
2. Grab the cowboy hat from the staircase railing.
3. Go upstairs in the adjacent building and pick up the cowboy boots from the attic.
4. Drop down and grab the bandana from the clothing shop next door: don't die or you'll drop items.
5. Return to the street, find the sheriff's wanted poster cutout, and crouch behind it for a few seconds until the screen flashes white.

Warning: Cowboy Easter Egg You will drop the cowboy items if you are eliminated. Any other player can pick them up. Complete this Easter Egg last, or immediately after securing your loadout and reviving your squad.

Bonus: Jackpot (Riverboat)

Not a main Easter Egg for the camo unlock, but worth doing every match. Head to the lower casino deck of the Riverboat, spend $500 on the slot machine, and win up to $20,000 in cash. Quick, easy, and great for buying killstreaks or loadout drops early.

Strategy, Rotations & Positioning

Haven's Hollow rewards squads that control verticality, plan rotations before the circle moves, and understand when to disengage from third-party fights. Below are the core strategic pillars for winning on this map.

Verticality Wins

Rooftops, walkways, station bridges, and hillsides create enormous advantages. The Mansion and Riverboat rooftops provide game-wide visibility. Always think upward before sprinting between buildings.

Use the Fog

Haven's Hollow's atmospheric fog effects reduce visibility in low-lying areas and misty zones. Flank through fog to surprise enemies holding clear lines of sight. Sound awareness becomes critical in low-vis situations.

Plan Rotations Early

Many POIs overlook each other: third parties are constant. Identify your rotation path before circle 2 moves. Homestead is the central funnel; expect fights there in every mid-game regardless of your drop.

Respawn Aggression

Resurgence timers reward aggression. Drop in hot, die, respawn, and re-engage with information. Passive camping loses to teams using the respawn timer to maintain number advantage and continuous pressure.

Late-Circle Positioning

The Pond becomes a death trap in final circles: avoid being caught in open water. High ridges east of the Pond and the Mansion hilltop are premium late-game holding positions. Research Center tunnels allow last-minute repositioning without exposing yourself.

Vehicles

Vehicles exist on Haven's Hollow, but the map's compact size and indoor-heavy design limits their utility. Use them for rapid cross-map repositioning: not for sustained combat. Expect to be targeted immediately if spotted in a vehicle near a hotdrop.
