Spending Strategy: Freeze, Hoard, Survive

Your monthly Tender income is fixed at 1,000: 500 from the Collector's Cache and 500 from completing the Traveler's Log. June ("Heating Up") and July ("Fireworks!") will demand every Tender you can bank. May is not for maximalism. May is for calibration.

The Freeze Mechanic: Your Best Friend

You can freeze one item per month at no cost. The frozen item rolls over until you purchase or replace it. If the Monthly Completion Reward is a Sunwalker variant you want, freeze it and come back next month with full reserves. If there is a Tender-purchasable Sunwalker chest piece, freeze it if you cannot afford it without draining your June budget.

Priority Spending Order for May 2026

1. Complete the Traveler's Log. Not negotiable. That is 500 free Tender and the monthly reward. Skipping this is the equivalent of declining a paycheck.
2. Sunwalker armor set pieces. Race-agnostic cultural armor is the most significant aesthetic shift in years. Buy at least the chest and shoulders for transmog flexibility.
3. Any Gilnean Charger variant. 400–500 Tender for an unarmored horse that will be usable in every single transmog you build for the rest of your WoW life.
4. One Derby Hat or HD Mageweave piece. Cheap, modular, endlessly reusable.
5. Freeze the Sun Roc. If a Sun Roc variant lands at 600+ Tender, freeze it. Do not panic-purchase a premium mount in May.

What to Skip

• Any premium 600+ Tender mount that is not a hard-stop grail. You will regret the drain in June.
