Pocketpair named her after the actual Egyptian goddess of war, plague, and healing, which is a bold choice for a creature you'll mostly use to carry rocks. Function over lore, as always.

Release Date and Palworld 1.0

Write it down somewhere you'll actually check: the Sekhmet release date is July 10, 2026, landing alongside Palworld 1.0 as the game finally claws its way out of Early Access.
