LoL Patch 26.14 Release Date
Patch 26.13 is live: Locke joins the Rift, Senna finally gets punished, Ranked 5s return June 26. MSI 2026 meta is locked in.
handed Locke, the Ashen Exorcist, his debut: flanked by a High Noon skin, because subtlety is apparently illegal. Meanwhile, the balance team got to work punishing anyone who was comfortable.
Eight nerfs. Nine buffs. One new champion. Ranked 5s back for a limited run starting June 26. And last hit indicators in Ranked: the most controversial addition since Riot decided Viego was a good idea.
"Absolutely no demons allowed.": Locke. Immediately contested by Aatrox, Viego, and Kayn.
The Senna nerf patch 26.13 was coming. She had been thriving on Doran's Helm synergy with her Q heal, outscaling her intended role as a support by simply refusing to be one. Riot trimmed her soul generation efficiency and heal numbers. She'll recover. She always does.

Champion |
What Got Hit |
Why |
|
Senna |
Soul gain rate, Q heal scaling |
Doran's Helm made her unkillable and un-itemized. Both things. |
|
Bard |
Meep damage: 35 → 30 base, chime scaling reduced |
Tank Bard hit harder than AP Bard without building AP. Offensive. |
|
Brand |
Passive detonation: 8-12% → 6-12% (delayed scaling) |
Bot lane Brand was a problem. His mana got buffed as compensation. Trade offer. |
|
Cassiopeia |
Health per level: 104 → 98 |
Pro play magnet. Still fast. Still annoying. Just slightly more mortal. |
|
K'Sante |
Base stats trimmed |
He exists in pro play. That's enough reason. |
|
Sion |
Damage/tankiness reduced |
Too reliable. Too safe. Too Sion. |

The LeBlanc buffs 26.13 target her mid-to-late game, where she historically disappears into irrelevance after one good laning phase. Riot wants her scaling to feel rewarding: the community wants her banned every game regardless. Both things can be true.

The Imperial Mandate rework addresses a build path that was actively inconvenient for the champions who were supposed to want it: supports. New path: Amp Tome + Bandleglass Mirror + Amp Tome + 700g. Cheaper, cleaner, no longer requires an apology.
Riot overshot on the 26.11 buff. Doran's Helm is getting trimmed: specifically targeting Senna and Jhin who absorbed the item like it owed them money. Base health stays elevated. Overperformers get clipped.
The last hit indicators Ranked LoL feature is now live in both Normal Draft and Ranked Summoner's Rift. A white indicator appears on a minion's health bar when an auto-attack will secure the kill. It already existed in Swiftplay and Co-op. Now it's everywhere. You can turn it off if you prefer to miss CS the traditional way.
Pro players are not concerned. Diamond players are furious. Iron players remain unaffected because they weren't last-hitting anyway.
You can now report players directly inside the DM interface. Right-click the chat, hit report, done. Blocking someone no longer lets them dodge accountability: message history persists during the session. Riot can read it. They know what you said.
Patch 26.13 is the MSI 2026 patch notes patch. The tournament runs in Daejeon, South Korea. Every nerf to Cassiopeia, Senna, and Sion is a message to pro teams: find something else. Every buff to LeBlanc and Kai'Sa is an invitation to try something actually watchable.
The patch is designed to open the meta. Whether pro teams actually pick anything interesting is their choice. History suggests they will not.
The Broken Covenant skin line expands with Jhin, Aurora, and Shen. High Noon gets Locke and Akshan. If you were waiting for a reason to spend money on a champion you haven't played in six months, this is your moment.

The LoL champion balance changes in this patch cluster around one goal: a pro-playable meta that doesn't look identical to the last six patches. Whether Riot achieved that is a question MSI will answer.
Next patch: 26.14. Riot will buff someone who just got nerfed by mistake and call it a "correction." It's tradition.

No. New champions are locked out of pro competition. Watch him destroy solo queue instead.
Doran's Helm synergy made her Q heal obscene. She is being reminded she is a support.
