Warframe Incarnon Genesis Week 9: Stug, Vectis & More
Patch 7.2 Feast On hits July 9: Yunara joins the Rift, boot enchants die forever, active items get their own slots, ranked gets rebuilt, and Ahri fina
Riot called it Patch 7.2: Feast On. Appropriate. They fed boot enchantments to the trash, introduced a Wild Rift new items 2026 system nobody asked for, and slapped a summer coat of paint on Ionia. It drops July 9, 2026. Season 21 ends that day too, so your Glorious Eminence Jax chase is officially over.
The patch comes in two episodes. Episode 1 is the teaser. Episode 2 has the numbers. This guide covers both, plus everything that leaked from the Chinese PBE. You're welcome.
Yunara, the Unbroken Faith. She is a Wild Rift marksman who spent centuries in the spirit realm training with a Kinkou relic called the Aion Er'na. The result: she hits things and they also get hit by magic. Positioning matters. Spacing matters. If you stand still, you deserve what happens to you.

Key |
Name |
What It Does |
|
Q |
Cultivation of Spirit |
Passive: attacks deal bonus magic damage and generate Unleash stacks. Active: activates Transcendent State: AoE cleave, more attack speed, more magic damage. Stacks decay when you stop attacking. So keep attacking. |
|
W |
Arc of Judgement |
Spinning prayer bead that slows on hit and expands at max range. Upgraded to Arc of Ruin during R with reduced cooldown. Poke tool. Use it to win trades you shouldn't win. |
|
E |
Kanmei's Steps |
Ghosted movement speed towards enemies, decaying. Upgraded during R to Untouchable Shadow: a dash. Repositioning tool. Also: escape if you remembered to press R first. |
|
R |
Transcend One's Self |
Activates Q automatically, upgrades W and E. Duration window. Use it, stay in range, and keep swinging. Wasting this is a moral failure. |
Yunara rewards staying in the fight. Her Unleash stacks reset when she stops auto-attacking. Team fights are her domain. Solo queue brain-off autopilot is her graveyard.
Every boot enchant you've relied on since launch is deleted. Stasis boots, Glory, Veil, Dream Maker, Galeforce boots: all of it. The Wild Rift boot enchants removed decision is final. If you cried, you should have. This is the biggest item architecture change since the game launched.
What replaces them: Tier 3 boots, costing 1,000 extra gold, unlockable after the 10-minute mark. Every boot type gets its own upgrade. All Tier 2 boots now cost 1,200 gold (Ionian Boots stay at 1,000). Components are back, so early Tier 1 boots are no longer wasted gold.

Tanks and ADCs who relied on Stasis or Glory enchants have no direct replacement. Off-role Stasis is gone. If you need Zhonya's now, you're spending an item slot and 3,300 gold for it. Good luck.
Active effects like Stasis, Redemption, QSS, and Galeforce now live as their own Wild Rift active items in standalone completed-item slots. You still can only hold one active item at a time. The system just no longer hides them inside your shoes.
The entire mage item pool was gutted and reconstructed. Percentage magic penetration is now exclusive to two items. Everything else was rebalanced around raw AP and flat stats. Four items were deleted outright: Awakened Soulstealer, Crown of the Shattered Queen, Psychic Projector, Bandal Fantasy.
The Wild Rift mage builds meta will look different. Hybrid and flex builds have fewer options. The pool is more focused. The good news: Void Staff is back.

Gone. Whatever you were building around it: build around something else. |
Bounties no longer care purely about kill streaks. Wild Rift bounty system now scales with total gold earned. The richest player on the map earns the biggest target on their back. A new reduction mechanic also kicks in when a team falls significantly behind: designed to slow down snowballs before they become blowouts.
In theory: more accurate representation of who's actually winning. In practice: your 10/0 ADC is worth a mortgage. Plan accordingly.
The Wild Rift ranked progression system is getting its largest update ever. The stated goals: make climbing clearer, more rewarding, and reflective of actual in-game performance. Details are reserved for Episode 2, which is genuinely annoying. What is confirmed:
Season 21 (Glorious Eminence Jax) ends July 8. You have one day less than you think.
The Ahri ASU Wild Rift is a full Art and Sustainability Update: refreshed base model, updated skin visuals, cleaner ability effects. Gameplay unchanged. She still does what she always did. She just now does it while looking like she cost more than $3 to render.
Cho'Gath joins as the Terror of the Void. His loop: kill things, grow larger, generate more crowd control, become impossible to ignore. He is a scaling CC engine. The longer a game goes, the more he resembles a building with health bars. Engage. Eat. Repeat.
AAA ARAM launches a new season with a fresh ARAM augments Wild Rift pool. Dozens of new cards at patch launch. Six new elemental rune cards. More surprises arriving mid-patch. If you always wanted to ignore ranked and play ARAM, Riot has now given you structured seasonal reasons to do exactly that. Embarrassing. Also fine.

July 9, 2026. That's also when Season 21 ends, ranked resets, and your Jax grind becomes a memory.
No. Stasis is now Zhonya's Hourglass: a full item, 3,300 gold, one active slot. Budget accordingly or die faster.
Primarily bot lane. Her kit rewards sustained auto-attack positioning, which fits ADC patterns better than mid burst windows.
Deleted. Both removed in the AP item overhaul alongside Psychic Projector and Bandal Fantasy. Find new toys.
Your fed carry is now worth more gold. Catching them out is more rewarding. Peel harder or watch your lead evaporate.
