You play front line control, so you pick the fight spot, you reduce damage on yourself, and you also bring short group healing during your spirit Fellowship dungeons.
You run a simple loop – you build stacks with your core hits, then you spend those stacks to get mana back and to fuel instant healing.

Sunstrike is your filler button, and it stacks a debuff you later consume to get mana back, so you keep your kit running during long pulls.

Blinding Slash cleaves and blinds, and it places a debuff that ends after you parry or after the blind ends, so it helps you control pack pressure while you keep moving.

Solar Blades hits an area and also hits the main target harder, so you can use it on packs and also keep it in boss fights without feeling like you need Fellowship gearing.

Brilliant Flash spends a Swift Reprieval charge, so you can instantly damage and heal yourself, or you can aim healing into an ally, and when charges run out you swap to Brilliant Flare with a 1.5s cast time.
Shining Halo sets the place you want to fight, it deals AoE damage, and it gives you 20% damage reduction for 12 seconds, then you can extend it when you cast Brilliant Flash during the window.
Solar Shield costs mana and reduces incoming damage a lot, and you can cast it on an ally who steals threat, or you cast it on yourself to make healing feel easier.
You have a standard taunt plus an interrupt, so you keep enemies on you and you stop key casts when the fight gets spicy.
When you play Xavian well, you choose the fight spot, you keep mana moving through your stack spend, and you keep your group alive with quick heals plus a powerful spirit window, and your runs feel controlled even when your team tests your patience.

You build stacks with your core attacks, then you press Omnist Strike to consume stacks and regain mana, so you can keep paying for shields and other tools.
You generate Swift Reprieval stacks through your kit, then you spend a charge on Brilliant Flash for an instant heal, with an option to deal damage at the same time.
You use it after Swift Reprieval charges run out, since it becomes the cast-time heal option, and it helps you recover when instant charges are gone.
You place it where you want the fight to stay, and you keep fighting inside it for damage reduction, then you extend the window through Brilliant Flash use.
You can cast Solar Shield on an ally, and it reduces incoming damage, so you buy time while you pull threat back with taunt.
You press it on the hardest damage moment, since it starts with full immunity, then it continues with heavy reduction, and it also heals the group during the full effect.
