Destiny 2 Final Patches: Every Fix Before Lights Out
The only Pantheon cheese Bungie forgot to patch. Kill Insurrection Prime in under a minute using Divinity, skip every mechanic, and farm Tier 5...

Bungie patched Morgith, Argos, and the seven-stack artifact perk. They did not patch this. The exploit lets you apply the Divinity exotic trace rifle cage to Insurrection Prime's waist while he is technically immune, then pour precision damage directly into that cage until he dies. No buff collection. No cap swap. No damage phase theater. The boss falls in roughly a minute and you walk to the vendor.
Is it elegant? No. Does it feel like something Bungie intended? Absolutely not. Does it get you Spoils of Conquest and Tier 5 loot in a fraction of the normal time? Yes, and that is the entire point of this page.
One thing to be clear about: you still need to actually kill him. This is not a skip. It is a damage exploit. Bad DPS means a long, painful encounter where everyone stares at a number that barely moves. Bring real weapons.
The Pantheon raid cheese runs on two things: one exotic that you probably do not have, and enough firepower to matter. Here is the full breakdown.

|
Divinity |
Creates the cage on the boss. The entire strategy is this gun. |
Locked behind Garden of Salvation raid + Divine Fragmentation quest |
Required |
|
Celestial Nighthawk + Still Hunt |
Best single-rotation Destiny 2 boss DPS available to Hunters |
Still Hunt builds its own Golden Gun meter. Nighthawk turns it into one enormous shot. |
Ideal |
|
Well of Radiance |
Keeps the Divinity user alive while the boss shoots them continuously |
Not optional in practice. The boss targets the Divinity user by preference. |
Required |
|
Linear Fusion Rifles / Snipers |
Fallback DPS for players without the Hunter setup |
Run Sniper's Meditation from the seasonal artifact. Queenbreaker works. |
Fallback |
|
Healing Auto Rifle |
Babysitting the Divinity user so they don't die |
One team member running healing grenades + healing auto rifle can carry this role |

This weapon is why some of your friends will not be able to run this. The Divine Fragmentation quest requires scanning Vex cores in three Nessus Lost Sectors, collecting 120 Sol Divisive Vex parts, empowering a decryption core at Eris Morn's Lectern of Enchantment, then solving seven tether puzzles across the entire Garden of Salvation raid — all in one sitting. You cannot checkpoint the puzzles. You must also defeat the final raid boss in the same run to claim the gun from the reward chest. It is a lot of work for a trace rifle. It is worth every second specifically because of cheese strategies like this one.
The Celestial Nighthawk Still Hunt build converts Golden Gun from three weak shots into one enormous hit. Still Hunt has its own Golden Gun meter charged by precision hits, meaning a Hunter with this setup gets two supercharged shots per rotation. On Prismatic, layer three Solar Surge armor mods, maximize your Super stat, and pair with triple solar weapons. The damage output against a stationary target sitting inside a Divinity cage is, frankly, embarrassing for the boss.
This requires coordination, not skill. Run through it in voice chat before the attempt or watch someone do it wrong twice and learn from their suffering.
If a crit node breaks: the cage collapses and the attempt may be over. With the Challenge feat active, each player can only break one assigned node, so a second Divinity user must immediately pick up a different node and restart the cage. Without Challenge feat, the problem is easier but the accidental break is more likely since you hit harder.

The phase does not fail from low DPS. It fails because someone gets careless. The Insurrection Prime cheese guide dies in one of three ways: the Divinity user breaks the node by accident, the Divinity user gets killed because nobody was covering them, or the cage collapses because the Divinity user stopped holding the beam.
The Cutthroat feat: the one that puts you at a light level disadvantage: is counterintuitively easier for this cheese than running without it. Lower damage means the Divinity user is less likely to accidentally break the crit node. If you are not running Cutthroat and are having accidental breaks, drop your weapon stat below 100 deliberately. Yes, this means intentionally handicapping yourself. Welcome to Destiny 2 endgame.
Multiple Divinity users extend the damage window significantly. Player A runs their gun dry on one node, Player B immediately starts on another node. You can chain these rotations to create a long, continuous damage window that makes the encounter trivially short even with five feats stacking Prime's health pool.
|
Problem |
Fix |
|
Divinity user keeps dying |
Well of Radiance + healing auto rifle assigned babysitter. Triple arc resistance on Divinity user. |
|
Crit node keeps breaking |
Lower Divinity user's weapon stat below 100. Consider Cutthroat feat on purpose. |
|
Cage collapses mid-phase |
Second Divinity user takes over from a fresh node immediately. |
|
DPS not enough |
More Celestial Nighthawk Hunters. At least five for a five-feat run. Sniper's Meditation active on artifact. |
|
Challenge feat breaking everything |
Assign nodes per player before the attempt. One node per person. Nobody freelances. |
Insurrection Prime is the final encounter of the Pantheon 2.0 loot farm, which means clearing him puts you at the vendor. Every kill generates Spoils of Conquest, and the vendor accepts them for weapons including the Threat Level legendary shotgun: which only drops from this specific encounter initially. The Anarchy exotic catalyst is also here. For players farming Ferropotent armor or hunting Tier 5 stat rolls, this is the fastest route available by a significant margin.
A normal legitimate clear with full mechanics, buff collection, cap swapping, and damage phases takes substantially longer per kill. This cheese reduces that to under two minutes per attempt when the team executes correctly. The Spoils of Conquest farm math heavily favors running this repeatedly over doing it properly.

Yes. Confirmed after the Tuesday reset that fixed Morgith, Argos, and the artifact perk stacking exploit. This one survived. Check community sources before your session anyway.
No. Killing the boss by any means triggers full rewards, including all Spoils, vendor access, and weapon drops. Bungie rewards results, not process.
A separate Ward of Dawn crossbow glitch exists that launches Prime off the map. It is luck-based and inconsistent. The Divinity method requires six players but is far more repeatable.
Linear fusion rifles with active weekly Surge matching, or snipers with Sniper's Meditation from the artifact. Queenbreaker if nothing better is available. Match the element to your Surge.
Yes, confirmed. Five feats increase Prime's health pool, meaning you need more DPS, not a different method. Celestial Nighthawk Hunters become mandatory rather than recommended.
