Nekomancer Wonder Weapon Guide – Kowakujo
BO7 Zombies Season 4 Reloaded hid a mech suit inside a rock-shooting side Easter egg on Kowakujo. Here's how to unlock the Mannequin Mecha Dark Ops fa
Kowakujo: a feudal Japanese castle collapsing into lava and Dark Aether rot: is the fifth map in Black Ops 7 Zombies and the centerpiece of Season 4 Reloaded. Buried inside all the main quest chaos is a quiet Kowakujo side Easter egg that rewards the mildly attentive with a Dark Ops challenge and a functional mech suit. It does not require a full squad, a PhD in zombie lore, or a Wonder Weapon. Just patience and trigger discipline.
Station yourself in the flower garden area of Kowakujo. Every few minutes, rocks will float across the lava river in the middle of the map, or appear near the lava pool to the right of Wasteland. This is your entire job for a while: stand here and wait. Congratulations on the entertainment.
The rocks respawn on a timer, not on a kill trigger. You cannot force them faster. Accept this and use the downtime to farm salvage: you'll need 1,750 of it later.
The secret arena drops you into a three-way showdown: a bear, an abomination, and you: inside a mech suit. The abomination is the same enemy type appearing in the main quest easter egg; it hits hard and has substantial health. The bear is the bear. Focus the abomination first. The mech suit you're piloting during the fight gives you enough firepower to not embarrass yourself, provided you don't stand still.

High damage, high HP. The actual threat. |

Kill second |
Annoying. Not scary. |

Finish the fight and you're teleported back to the main map with two rewards in hand. The Mannequin Mecha Dark Ops challenge is marked complete: that's the cosmetic trophy for your profile. Then, back at the robot corpse on the ground, you can purchase a playable mech suit for 1,750 salvage. The suit functions as a proper combat vehicle: it is not cosmetic, and it is not useless.

Kowakujo is a round-based zombies map set in a volcanic feudal Japanese castle corrupted by the Dark Aether: essentially Takeo Masaki's family home after someone left the Dark Aether tap running. The map introduces Scorched Zombies, Oni, and Hellhounds. The main quest involves the Nekomancer wonder weapon (a literal cat), a lantern-lighting puzzle, and freeing the last Shadowsmith. The Mecha Mayhem side Easter egg is entirely separate from all of that. You do not need to progress the main quest to start shooting rocks.
The BO7 Zombies Season 4 Reloaded update also brought Cursed Mode back to Kowakujo: a no-HUD, starting-pistol-only variant designed to hurt you. Do not attempt the Black Ops 7 robot parts easter egg in Cursed Mode unless you genuinely despise yourself.

Near the flower garden and the lava pool to the right of Wasteland. Watch both spots every few minutes.
Five: two arms, two legs, one torso: always in that order. The torso triggers the build automatically.
Yes. The mini boss arena is fully solo-capable. Bring decent weapons and don't stand still.
It lasts the session. It is not a permanent unlock: spend the 1,750 salvage wisely each run.
No. It is completely independent. Complete it in any order without touching the main quest at all.
