Operation Wall Breaker is Act III of BO7 Endgame, live with Season 4. Nine steps, all linear, all mandatory. You do not get to skip to the fun part. Progress through each step in Hightown until you reach Step 10: defeat the possessed convoy in Avalon: and the Command Killer Glitch Fracture location is revealed on your map. Congratulations, the game has now decided you are ready.
Unlike the previous operation (Broken Mirror), Wall Breaker starts at Zone I, meaning you don't need a maxed-out operator just to read the opening cutscene. The difficulty scales: Zone I through Zone IV, then Nightmare for the Glitch itself. Do not walk in unprepared. The Nightmare Zone difficulty is not rhetorical.
Pre-requisite: If the Guild Strike Boss has already been defeated in a previous session, the Glitch Fracture spawns on the map immediately. You don't re-do step one.
Before entering, use the Exotic Fabricator: unlocked by defeating the Strike Boss in Nightmare Zone. It upgrades your weapon to Exotic rarity. If your weapon is already Exotic, it applies a second upgrade effect. Skipping this is a personal choice, in the same way skipping a seatbelt is a personal choice.
Six waves, two objective sets per area. The timer exists. It never felt punishing in testing, but it's there, watching you fail slowly.

Wave |
Type |
What You're Actually Doing |
Kill Them With |
|
1 |
Elimination |
Tight corridor. Lower-tier enemies flood in. Reach the kill threshold twice. |
AoE weapon. Reboot with grenade rounds destroys this wave. |
|
2 |
Elite: Amalgam |
Cafeteria. Tables everywhere. Amalgam Elite with a harpoon hook that heals it when it pulls you in. |
Aim the crit spot. Don't get harpooned. |
|
3 |
Defend |
Two tubes eject from the ground. Defend both against multiple small waves. Manglers spawn but target you, not the tubes. Fears target the tubes. |
Prioritize Fears over Manglers. Check both tubes constantly. |
|
4 |
Boss: Oscar |
Oscar variant with extra HP. No shield skill. No special abilities. He is just annoying and durable. |
Keep moving. Dump damage. He dies eventually. |
|
5 |
Capture |
Three capture flags. Glowing yellow zones. You pick the order. Stand in circle, survive enemies, repeat. |
Clear enemies before capping. Don't try to multitask. |
|
6 |
Final Boss: Cursa Bear |
Fast, aggressive boss from the possessed convoy. Heals via beehives. Destroy beehives the moment they appear or watch him undo your progress. |
Constant movement. Immediate beehive destruction. Burst damage windows. |
This wave runs the longest. A filled defense meter at 100% with both tubes intact advances you. Lose a tube and you're in trouble. The Mangler ignores the tubes: it wants you. Fears are the actual threat to the objectives. Handle them first, let the Mangler chase you while you clean up.
The Cursa Bear boss fight is the same enemy from the possessed convoy activity in Avalon. Fast movement, constantly repositioning, puts you permanently on the back foot. His one dangerous trick: reaching a damage threshold causes him to deploy beehives. Those beehives heal him. Destroy them immediately or watch your damage output become irrelevant. Once enough damage lands, he's done.
Do not ignore beehives. Every second they survive is HP returned to the bear. Burst them the instant they appear.
Go in with your best weapons for Endgame Nightmare. This is not negotiable. The Reboot with grenade bullets handles Wave 1's crowd problem cleanly. Exotic-tier weapons are the floor, not the ceiling. Skills and abilities that manage crowds outperform single-target precision across most waves here: the single-target moments (Oscar, Cursa Bear) don't require specialist loadouts, just sustained damage output.

Yes. All 9 steps in order, then defeat the possessed convoy in Step 10. Then it unlocks.
He heals. Your damage output becomes a donation. Destroy beehives the moment they spawn, no exceptions.
Yes. It stays on the map permanently. Replay it with each of the three required operators for skins.
That depends entirely on how much you like looking at a weapon camo. The fracture isn't long.
No. He has extra HP and no shield. He's slower than usual. Sustained damage ends it.
