BO7 Season 4 Meta: Top 10 Best Weapons & Loadouts
Black Ops 7 Season 4 Reloaded launches June 25 with Zenith, remastered Launch, Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, Knife Fight, and the permanent Black Ops C

The Black Ops 7 Season 4 Reloaded mid-season update shipped on June 25, 2026, delivering two multiplayer maps, two returning modes, a permanently expanded Black Ops Classic playlist, and a Call of Duty multiplayer map pool that finally has something to argue about again. If you missed the Season 4 launch maps (Liminal, Primetime, Vertigo), you are already behind and should feel accordingly.
The headline modes joining the rotation are Team Blueprint Sharpshooter: where every player's loadout rotates simultaneously, punishing tunnel vision: and Knife Fight, a 2v2 close-quarters melee mode for people who genuinely hate themselves. Earn 10 Double Kills in Knife Fight and you unlock the exclusive "Combatant" weapon charm. Worth it or humiliating? Yes.
Two maps. Two modes. Black Ops Classic goes permanent. Nicolas Cage is here. It's a mid-season drop, not a miracle. Calibrate expectations.
6v6 & 2v2 // Medium // Cliffside Compound
A luxury jungle compound where The Guild makes a last-ditch assault on Karma's sanctuary. Three-lane layout with flanking paths on both sides and a waterway running into a lower bunker. The "secret passage" bloodstained handprint on the wall is either atmospheric design or Treyarch's cry for help: unclear.
Supports both 6v6 and 2v2 Gunfight, which is rare. Learn the waterway route first: it feeds directly into objectives and most players will ignore it for the first 48 hours, which is the only window you have to feel clever.
6v6 // Medium // Russian Rocket Facility
Originally from Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010). Fully remastered for BO7. The Russian rocket facility layout is intact: elevated sniper sightlines, tight flanking corridors, and the notorious center building that turns into a killbox the moment any team loses angle control.
The BO7 Season 4 remastered maps treatment keeps the geometry faithful. At the halfway point of each match, the launch initiation protocol kicks in: a mid-match event that changes zone pressure. Veterans already know. Newcomers will find out the bad way.
Season 4 Reloaded brings the total map count across launch and mid-season to five core maps, plus an expanded new multiplayer maps Black Ops 7 Classic rotation. Here's what you're working with.

The Black Ops Classic mode is no longer a limited-time experiment. It is a permanent fixture. No wall-running. No Omnimovement. No Overclock Abilities. No Perk Combat Specialty bonus. Just people shooting each other, as the genre once required.
Season 4 Reloaded adds four maps to the Classic rotation. This is the full list:
Classic mode still runs on BO7's engine. The geometry, audio, and animations are modern. Only the movement rules are restricted. The maps play differently than you remember. Account for that.
6v6. Weapon blueprints rotate for all players simultaneously. Kill streak bonuses accelerate your movement and unlock a double score multiplier at five. Adaptability required. Excuses not accepted.
2v2. Melee only. If you need the distance, this mode is not for you. Earn 10 Double Kills to unlock the "Combatant" weapon charm. Simple. Brutal. Probably faster to just buy it.
Permanent. TDM, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed. Pre-set movement. No special abilities. Either a relief or a regression, depending on how old you are.
The BO7 Zenith map best weapons conversation will be short: it's a three-lane medium map with a lower bunker route. SMGs and ARs split the work. The AN-94, returning from Black Ops 4, leads the Season 4 Reloaded weapon additions: its hyperburst mechanic fires the first two rounds at an accelerated rate before settling into a standard firing pattern. On Zenith's corridors, that opening burst is decisive.
On Launch, the elevated positions favor marksman rifles. The KRS-7.62 offers a two-hit elimination against unarmored targets within 25 meters. Anything past that becomes a three-tap, which is still fast enough to matter if your positioning isn't embarrassing. The center building on Launch remains a death trap. It always was. Avoid it or commit fully: there is no comfortable middle option.

Both maps are in the Zenith Launch BO7 rotation from day one of Reloaded. They also feed into Black Ops Classic via the Launch slot. The meta will be chaotic for the first week. That's normal. It's also the only window where outsized gains are available to players who learn routes before everyone else does.

Two: Zenith (brand new, cliffside compound) and Launch (remastered from Black Ops 2010). Both live June 25.
Both. Zenith supports 6v6 standard play and 2v2 Gunfight. One of the few Season 4 maps with dual-playlist support.
Layout is preserved. Engine, visuals, and audio are fully modern BO7. The mid-match launch event still triggers. Movement is current-gen.
Yes. Season 4 Reloaded makes it permanent with Launch, Fringe, Hacienda, and Gridlock added to the rotation.
AN-94 covers Zenith corridors. KRS-7.62 handles Launch's long sightlines. Pick based on where you intend to die.
