This Arc Raiders Snitches trial rewards you for shooting flying scanner drones out of the sky before they rat you out to every Hornet and Wasp in the zone. Simple premise, mildly tedious execution, guaranteed cosmetics if you don't die like an idiot.

What a Snitch Actually Is

A Snitch is a floating camera with a grudge. It sweeps a blue searchlight across the ground, and if that light touches you, it screams for backup and spawns a Hornet plus two Wasps to ruin your afternoon. It has no weapons of its own. Its entire personality is snitching, hence the name, hence this trial existing.

Scoring: The Grind Math

Points per Snitch kill fluctuate by week, historically ranging from 300 to 600+ per hit depending on which patch you're suffering through. For a Damage Snitches three star clear you're typically looking at somewhere between 7 and 14 destroyed or heavily damaged units, so bring more patience than ammo. Aim center mass, not the white flaps — shooting the flaps wastes shots and does not count toward the kill.

Consider this a best map for Snitches ranking, not a religion. Rooftops win because Snitches fly, and you, a ground-based primate, need altitude to compete. A proper Snitch farming spot gives you sightlines in three directions and cover in the fourth, because someone else read this same guide.

Die before you extract and every point you scraped together vanishes. The game does not care about your effort. Only your corpse's location matters, and it needs to be nowhere near the raid when the timer ends.

Loadout Suggestions, Since You Asked

  • Long-range sniper or heavy-ammo rifle — Snitches float far and punish anyone who brought a shotgun to a sky fight

Grinding this alongside the other four weekly objectives is how you climb toward Speranza Hotshot rank and the cosmetics attached to it. Nobody outside this game will ever know what you did to get there. That's fine. Suffering privately is the Arc Raiders way.

Final and only truly important step: once your score satisfies you, or your patience runs out, walk — don't sprint into three Hornets — to the nearest Airshaft.
