Arc Raiders Expedition 4 Wipe Guide: July 7-21, 2026
ARC Raiders update 1.36 is now live: separate solo, duo, trio matchmaking, THE FINALS crossover, new Triumph skins, and anti-duping fixes inside.

Live Update 1.36.0 is out, and Embark has once again decided that "quality of life" means fixing things they broke six patches ago. Still, credit where it's due: this is one of the meatier arc raiders patch notes drops in a while, covering matchmaking, a crossover skin grab, a store overhaul, and the usual quiet war against people who cannot lose fairly.

The headline of the arc raiders matchmaking changes is refreshingly simple: the game finally admits that a person who quietly picks plants alone is not the same person who turns into a war criminal the second two friends join the lobby. Solo, Duo, and Trio playstyles are now tracked independently, so your peaceful solo reputation no longer gets dragged through the mud by your trio's PvP hobby, and vice versa.

The one thing nobody solved: if you're a peaceful solo player who occasionally wants to commit violence without ruining your own friendly rating, you're still out of luck. Squad up for PvP or suffer in silence.

From July 9th to July 30th, completing contracts in THE FINALS unlocks the Azimuth outfit and Archeologist backpack bundle in ARC Raiders. This is arc raiders the finals crossover marketing at its most transparent: two Embark games holding hands so their player counts don't have to. After the window closes, the arrangement flips, letting ARC Raiders players earn the Azimuth bundle by playing THE FINALS instead.

Season 4's Trials have ended, so whatever rank skin fate handed you is now permanent proof of effort or laziness. Arc raiders trials season 5 brings "Prove Your Mettle" and the Scorta Outfit, while arc raiders expedition 4 lands with the Zenith Outfit for anyone who prefers cooperative grinding over ranked humiliation.
The new Triumph bundle is a gladiator-coded set with red, green, and blue colorways, plus separate toggles for helmet, visor, antenna, pauldron, and shield. Whether it's flattering is your problem, not this guide's. Alongside it comes an arc raiders store redesign: cleaner layout, less visual clutter, which was overdue given how the old storefront had quietly turned into a discount bin.

Known issues that survived the patch: lower PC FPS for some players, ongoing Xbox crashes, and a quick-wheel bug that swaps your selected item when you close and reopen it fast. Progress, not perfection.
The arc raiders denuvo anti-cheat rollout is now fully enforced across all players, with Embark claiming steady improvement in catching cheaters through hardware, software, and machine-learning input analysis. Believe the marketing or don't, but the intent is at least stated plainly.
More interesting is the actual arc raiders duping fix progress: unusually high profit-per-minute activity sat around 2% of players in May, crept up to about 2.1% through June, and has since dropped to roughly 1%. Embark clearly has the telemetry to spot this behavior in near real time, which raises an obvious question about why automated bans aren't further along already.
Separately, the experimental "No Free Loadout" rule for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny continues, with Embark investigating whether to expand it to more map conditions. Reported players now trigger an in-game Action Notice when action is taken, which is a small but genuinely useful transparency change.

Separate solo, duo, trio matchmaking, a THE FINALS crossover event, Trials Season 5, Expedition 4, a store redesign, and completed Denuvo anti-cheat enforcement.
Playstyle is now tracked separately per squad size, so your solo behavior no longer affects duo or trio matchmaking, and the reverse is also true.

Recent fixes reduced unusually high profit-per-minute players from about 2.1% to roughly 1%, though monitoring and further exploit fixes continue.
Lower PC framerates for some players, ongoing Xbox crash investigations, and a quick-wheel item selection bug remain unresolved known issues.
