WoW Patch 12.1: Altar of Fangs & Venomous Abyss Guide
July 2026 Trading Post theme is "Fireworks!": Goblin rocket mounts at 700 Tenders, firework-shooting weapons, and Petalweave transmog sets are...
Patch 12.0.7 Trading Post mounts add five new rides to the files, all flagged as Trading Post sources. Two are named and priced. Two are placeholders. One is a buzzard. Together they represent the most mount-dense single patch drop in recent memory: and potentially the most expensive July for collectors since the system launched.
The Badlands Buzzard mount is datamined as a Zaricotl reference: a level 55 elite that terrorized low-level players in Classic's Badlands zone. White coloration, hunter flavor text. It notes it could theoretically fit September's "Friendship" theme instead, given the hunter-taming angle. Either way it's in the files at 550 TT and is coming to the Trading Post at some point.

Four Petalweave ensemble sets were datamined in Patch 12.0.7, featuring flowing floral designs, sheer sleeves, and petal-fall visual elements. Source is listed as unknown in PTR data: Trading Post or shop, no pricing confirmed yet. The four-color structure and non-class-specific design points directly at Trading Post. They are beautiful, completely off-theme for "Fireworks!", and will absolutely be here anyway because Blizzard does this every single month.
Deep red with crimson petal motifs. The most aggressive colorway of the four. Will be the first one sold out.
Soft pink, lighter than Scarlet. The obvious choice for anyone who has been waiting for a delicate floral set since 2019.
Golden-yellow tones. Closest to a "summer" look among the four. Pairs reasonably with June's Sunwalker weapons if you kept them.
Blue-toned. The Void-adjacent option. Midnight players who want something that isn't purple for once.
The item IDs for Sunlit and Azure are confirmed in PTR-2 data (items 271062 and 271089). Scarlet and Blush are also in the same build. All four could appear simultaneously in July, or Blizzard could spread them: two in July, two later. No pricing exists in the PTR data yet. Based on comparable ensemble costs (600–700 TT), plan accordingly.

The firework weapon transmog sets are the most conceptually chaotic thing in this patch. Two weapon types: Two-Handed Maces and Two-Handed Staffs: are designed with embedded firework rockets that fire on swing animations. Multiple color versions are confirmed in PTR data, including red and multicolored. Individual weapon pricing is not set yet; comparable weapons from June ran 230–260 TT each.

These are sold per color, not as a bundle. Two weapon types × multiple colors means this category can easily cost 600–900 TT total if you want everything. Raiders and M+ players will notice these in combat. Whether that's a selling point or a reason to avoid them depends entirely on your raid leader's tolerance for visual chaos.
Patch 12.0.7 added more cosmetics beyond the confirmed July items. These have no month assignment yet and no pricing, but they're in the pipeline. Some may arrive in July, some later.
Naga-inspired armor. Serpentine motifs, elaborate headpiece. Void-adjacent aesthetic. New particle cloak effect: subtle void ripple. Fits Midnight's visual language far better than its BFA origins would suggest.
Second Azshara variant. Watery ripple cloak effect rather than void. Both sets share N'Zoth color language: dark blues, purples, multiple eyes on model elements.
N'Zoth-themed ray mount. Dark blues and purples, multiple eyes across model. Shares visual motifs with the Azshara ensembles above. Two variants in the same build.
Second N'Zoth ray variant. Same eye-covered design language. These two mounts may appear together or split across months.
None of these have Tenders attached. They could go to a later month's rotation, the shop, or a promotion. Tracking them anyway so you're not surprised when they appear priced at 700 TT in October.
You earn a hard maximum of 1,000 Tenders per month. July's confirmed purchases alone exceed that ceiling:

Three months of maximum Tender income to buy everything if prices hold. The freeze mechanic covers one item. Accumulated Tenders from lean months (May was quiet) cover some gap. If you burned everything in June: two Sun Roc mounts at 700 each, Sunbringer set at 675: you arrive in July with whatever you farmed from the Log. Start making decisions now.

No specific July Traveler's Log activities are confirmed yet: those are typically revealed on or just before July 1. Standard structure: complete a mix of quests, dungeon runs, PvP, and seasonal content to fill the bar. Standard months award 500 Tenders on bar completion plus one free item. Traveler's Log July 2026 bonus reward is unconfirmed; watch for a Blizzard announcement in late June.
One note worth tracking: the Midsummer Fire Festival runs through July 5, 2026. Its daily quests, Steal-a-Flame quests, and Frost Lord Ahune runs all counted toward the June Traveler's Log. Some of those activities may carry over and credit toward July's bar for the first five days of the month: free early progress if you're still running Ahune for loot.

Two are confirmed with names and prices: Bilgewater (red) and Blackwater (blue) at 700 TT each. The pink and green variants have placeholder names and are also flagged as Trading Post sources, but Blizzard may delay them or send them to the shop. Plan on two in July, treat the other two as a bonus if they appear.
Scarlet, Blush, Sunlit, and Azure: all datamined in Patch 12.0.7. Source and pricing are unconfirmed. They will be Trading Post or shop; no other distribution method makes sense for a four-color cosmetic ensemble with no class or content requirement.
Only if you banked Tenders in May or June. Both together cost 1,400 TT: 400 more than the monthly maximum income. Freeze one. Buy one. Return for the second in August when you've restocked.
