Parhelion Plaza is locked behind a raid. The boss targets your NPC companion. One wrong step softlocks your run. This guide exists because Blizzard wo
You've killed everything in every other Midnight delve and you've run out of ways to feel bad about yourself. Welcome to Parhelion Plaza: the one Midnight delve Blizzard decided to hide behind a raid tier gate, because apparently breathing isn't gated enough already. Located on the Isle of Quel'Danas, the historic location of the Sunwell, this is Midnight's most mechanically layered WoW Delve Guide experience: three completely distinct variants, a boss who targets your NPC companion on purpose (yes, really), and void portals that permanently close if you step outside them at the wrong moment. This page covers everything: entrance coords, variant specifics, boss abilities, quests, achievements, and gear requirements. You're welcome. Now stop dying to the knockback.
Parhelion Plaza is the sole Midnight delve located on the Isle of Quel'Danas , making it the only delve in the entire expansion you can't reach on launch day. Blizzard locked it behind the March on Quel'Danas raid release on March 31, 2026, which is charming, because nothing says "World of Warcraft Midnight Delves" like waiting a month and a half to do your delve homework. The delve spans the outer battlements and inner halls of the Sunwell complex, which means the scenery is gorgeous and the void corruption is extremely thematic and completely deadly. There are three story variants on rotation, three sets of trash mobs that require actual attention, one boss who is legitimately hard compared to his delve peers, and three Sturdy Chests that are just inconveniently placed enough to be annoying to find.

Finding the Parhelion Plaza location is its own mini-game, because in true Blizzard fashion, this delve is not immediately visible from ground level. The entrance is on the western side of the Isle of Quel'Danas, near the Sunwell complex: but critically, it's downstairs inside a building. If you're standing outside looking for a glowing door on the street, you're going to be there a while. Head to the west side of the island, find the relevant structure, descend the stairs, and there you go. A door. Finally. It was inside all along.
Delve Lock Warning: Parhelion Plaza does NOT appear in the delve list until the week of March 31, 2026 with the March on Quel'Danas raid unlock. Do not spend 20 minutes looking for it before that date.
Use the following TomTom coordinates for the WoW Midnight Isle of Quel'Danas delves entrance and all three Sturdy Chests:
/way Isle of Quel'Danas 22.0 62.0 Parhelion Plaza Entrance (downstairs inside building)
/way Isle of Quel'Danas 09.63 50.36 Sturdy Chest: Behind westernmost building
/way Isle of Quel'Danas 40.91 86.91 Sturdy Chest: Next to stairs
/way Isle of Quel'Danas 22.41 61.01 Sturdy Chest: Behind a tree
The three Sturdy Chests are accessible regardless of which variant is active. Loot all three across separate runs to progress toward the Glory of the Midnight Delver meta-achievement and its "Leave No Treasure Unfound" criterion.
This is where Parhelion Plaza actually earns its reputation as the most mechanically complex WoW Parhelion Plaza experience in Midnight's delve roster. Each of the three variants changes the traversal objective, the special items available, and the route you should take: while Gladius Slaurna waits at the end of all of them, equally unpleasant. The Parhelion Plaza trash mob guide below covers the universal enemies you'll face across all three variants, followed by variant-specific mechanics. Pay attention; the Bombing Run variant will permanently softlock your run if you leave a void portal at the wrong moment.

Gladius Slaurna is the final boss of all three Parhelion Plaza variants, and he is: to put this with appropriate diplomatic sensitivity: a complete nightmare compared to every other Midnight delve boss. He is one of the hardest bosses in the delve roster, capable of killing you through a combination of targeted beams, add-empowered burst, and a knockback that sends players off the platform. The key to the Parhelion Plaza boss guide WoW is understanding the interaction between his adds and his signature nova: if those Voidcallers are alive when Devouring Nova fires, you will spend the rest of the fight fighting a boss who has stacked permanent damage buffs, and at higher tiers you will simply die. There is no recovery from letting this happen repeatedly. Kill the adds. Kill them immediately.
Gladius Slaurna: Boss of All Parhelion Plaza Variants
Add Phase: Sacrificial Voidcaller (×3)
At the start of the fight and periodically throughout, Slaurna summons three Sacrificial Voidcallers. Each one continuously casts Void Bolt, which is interruptible and must be interrupted whenever possible. These adds have low health and should be killed immediately: they are the highest priority target in the room, full stop, because of their interaction with Devouring Nova below.
Devouring Nova
A short, uninterruptible cast that deals moderate damage and knocks back all nearby players. The knockback is dangerous near the platform edge and can send you flying off the arena: position deliberately. The critical mechanic: any Sacrificial Voidcallers alive when Devouring Nova completes are consumed, granting Slaurna a permanent +10% increased damage dealt per add consumed, along with reduced damage taken. Stack enough of these and Slaurna becomes statistically unkillable at any reasonable gear level. Kill the adds before this fires. Every time.
CANNOT InterruptAvoid Platform EdgeAdds Must Die First
Voidscar Raze
A frontal beam attack that prefers to target the furthest target in the room: which in practice means Slaurna will almost always aim this at Valeera Sanguinar, making him genuinely frustrating to position. After the initial beam fires, a copy travels along the same path, dealing additional damage and knocking back everything caught in the line. Slaurna will also consume any Sacrificial Voidcallers standing in the beam's path, gaining that same +10% damage buff. Step out of the line reticle before it fires; do not stand between Slaurna and Valeera.
Dodge Line ReticleWatch Valeera PositionMoves Adds if in Path
The recommended approach is to fight Slaurna toward the center of the platform, away from the edges, and accept that Valeera will be perpetually targeted by Voidscar Raze. When he summons adds, pull them together: Slaurna tends to summon near himself, so positioning him closer to the edge concentrates the adds but increases your knockback risk from Devouring Nova. When Slaurna's health drops low and your damage cooldowns are available, ignore any remaining adds and burn the boss to zero. A dead Slaurna negates all his stacks instantly.
Parhelion Plaza has a dedicated introductory quest that sends you into the delve for the first time on any difficulty, tying into the broader seasonal narrative of the Void's assault on Quel'Danas. This quest is available from the delve hub and provides a reliable first-clear incentive separate from the weekly Bountiful Delve rewards.

Complete Parhelion Plaza on any difficulty |
Available in Eversong Woods. Ties into the Void assault narrative on Quel'Danas. Complete on Tier 1 if needed: any difficulty counts. |
Additional delve narrative quests may be offered through Valeera Sanguinar at the Delver's Headquarters in Silvermoon City as you progress through the Parhelion Plaza story variants and complete the delve on higher tiers. Check the Delver's Guide NPC in Silvermoon for daily Bountiful Delve designation on Parhelion Plaza, which provides bonus rewards when that specific delve is the bounty of the day.
Parhelion Plaza scales identically to all other Midnight delves, gating progression through 11 difficulty tiers. You need to be level 90 to enter any tier of any delve, and you need to complete the Midnight Delves: Endgame achievement on at least one character to unlock Tier 4 and above: this unlock is account-wide, meaning you do not grind each delve's tiers separately. When Tier 11 at a recommended item level of 271, understand that this is a recommendation in the same spirit as "wear shoes while hiking": technically optional, functionally essential. Gladius Slaurna in his Tier 11 form will test your damage-to-add-clear ratio in a way that makes undergearing feel like a personal insult. For Parhelion Plaza specifically, because the boss is harder than average, push your item level ceiling before attempting Tier 8+. Tiers 9–11 drop no additional loot beyond crests; they are purely for crest farming and achievement progress, so do not step into them expecting a gear upgrade to carry you through the Slaurna damage check.

Parhelion Plaza contributes to several Midnight achievements, including the WoW Midnight Isle of Quel'Danas delves story completion track and the overall meta-achievement chain that awards the Giganto Manis mount. The core Parhelion Plaza achievement requires completing all three story variants, which means you'll need to run it at least three times across different rotation cycles. Chest-hunting requires three additional runs (or luck aligning with variant rotation). The meta-achievement Glory of the Midnight Delver (Wowhead ID: 61906) is the seasonal capstone; its Parhelion-specific criteria contribute via the Delve Loremaster and Leave No Treasure Unfound components.

Parhelion Plaza is the most mechanically ambitious delve in the WoW Parhelion Plaza Tier 11 guide spectrum, and it earns that distinction through genuine design rather than cheap stat inflation alone. The three variants are meaningfully different in how they use the space, the add management on Gladius Slaurna demands real execution from even experienced players, and the Voidscar Raze targeting behavior creates genuine positioning problems that a lot of "just don't stand in bad" muscle memory won't solve automatically. The delve is worth running in all three variants not just for the Parhelion Plaza Stories achievement, but because each variant uses the arena differently and rewards learning the space. Take the Cosmic Infuser in Holding the Line, interrupt every Void Bolt you can, kill adds before Devouring Nova, and don't stand in the beam. The Sunwell is under siege. Try not to also be under siege from your own positioning choices.

Parhelion Plaza becomes available the week of March 31, 2026, tied to the March on Quel'Danas raid release. It is not accessible before that date regardless of your tier progression.
The portal permanently seals. You cannot re-enter and cannot complete the delve. Always destroy the portal from inside before leaving. Drop your bomb after combat, re-collect, then re-enter.
Always take Cosmic Infuser if it's offered: it deals heavy damage and stuns for 5 seconds, making it the best choice for every spec. Warp Slicer is second for melee; Netherstand Longbow for ranged.
Voidscar Raze prefers the farthest target. Since Valeera tends to position at range, she gets targeted consistently. Position her closer to you or accept the beam and dodge accordingly: there is no permanent fix.
Yes. Devouring Nova deals a knockback. Fighting near the platform edge makes this lethal. Stay toward center, be especially careful at higher tiers when the hit also deals significant damage before the knock.
No. Loot item level caps at Tier 8. Tiers 9–11 reward crests only and no improved gear drops. Run them for achievement progress or crest farming, not for loot upgrades.
