Casually print gold in Midnight. The Kel'donas jellyfish skinning loop works on any class, needs 0 setup, and scales with diffusers if you hate yourse
You enter the Kel'donas Unseen island raid with a group of allies, aggro a jellyfish, let everything pile on, nuke it down, loot, skin, exit, reset, repeat. That's the entire strategy. Midnight skinning gold farm scene has blessed us with many sophisticated methods; this isn't one of them.
Coordinates: 49.76 / 87.81. Queue via the Raid Finder with allies. Walk past the first mob, immediately aggro the jellyfish to pull the rest of the pack. Kill everything, loot, skin every corpse, leave instance, repeat. Bots run this exact loop. Congratulations.
Level gate: Kel'donas Unseen is accessible at level 90 minimum. You will need to level that alt you've been neglecting since Shadowlands.
Level 90+ is mandatory for the raid. Better gear means mobs die faster, which means you skin faster, which means your gold-per-hour (GPH) climbs. Min-gear and max-gear players both can do this: the difference is dignity.
This is a textbook solo skinning farm any class: works on everything from a freshly boosted DH to a neglected alt you haven't touched in two patches. If it can kill a jellyfish in under ten seconds, it qualifies.
You almost certainly have Azeroth Auto Pilot (AoO UI) or a derivative already running. If not, install it. Knowing where to spend Knowledge Points is the only thing stopping this from being fully braindead.
The bare minimum to make this farm not embarrassing: 40 points in Tanning + 40 points in Harvesting. That's your floor. 80 total points spent, you're functional.
Midnight skinning talent build uses a catch-up system: simply by skinning, you passively earn Knowledge Points toward missing talents. That means you can run this farm from zero knowledge and still accumulate your spec over time, which is either elegant design or Blizzard admitting the system is tedious.

invest toward Luxurious Leathers if Stormcharged Leather is selling well. Within Harvesting, Trophy Taker is the most profitable sub-spec: +180 Perception means more rare side drops, including Knowledge Point items.
The skinning profession equipment Midnight system has three slots: two accessories and one tool. For this farm, your tool is what matters most.

Perception increases rare material drop chance. Deftness speeds up the skinning animation. For WoW gold per hour skinning optimization, Perception wins on this farm because you want those quality hides, not faster skin animations on a mob density that already resets every minute.
Here's the farm's one actual nuance. You can craft a Thrifty Diffuser (called "рачительный распылитель" if you watch Russian farming content) and throw it on a mob before skinning. The math: it costs 2 Wild Magic Motes to craft (1 Mote ≈ 1g each), and returns 6–9 Motes on skin. Spend 2g, make ~7g extra per jellyfish. This is called profit.
The skinning diffuser gold profit Midnight mechanic only applies to mobs you actively target before the kill. There are roughly 19–20 jellyfish in the pack. To maximize, you need to throw a diffuser on each one via macro before nuking the pack. That's 20 individual targets, 20 clicks, and a spiritual journey.
Is it worth it? Check your AH. If Motes are cheap, yes. If Motes are expensive, skip it. Never buy Motes at a loss to throw diffusers "for the efficiency." Check which diffuser variant is profitable: different mote types have different prices on your realm's regional AH.
Macro approach: Use /targetexact [mobname] combined with a use macro on the diffuser to speed up application. Still tedious. Still more gold. Your choice.
The primary drop from this jellyfish skinning farm Midnight is Stormcharged Leather, the main crafting reagent for Khaz Algar Leatherworking. Secondary drops include Thunderous Hide and potential species-specific reagents based on your Harvesting spec.

Leatherworking reagent |
Core farm target. Sell on regional AH. Always in demand for armor crafts. |
|
|
High-value crafting mat |
Rarer, higher price per unit. Tanning spec boosts frequency. |
|
|
Wild Magic Motes |
Diffuser crafting / AH |
From diffuser use. Sell or re-use. Check AH price first. |

Vendor trash / gray loot |
Gold directly |
Don't ignore it. It adds up faster than your embarrassment. |
This is not the best gold farm Midnight. Nobody said it was. The wolf/bee elite farm on the Isle of Dorn in groups does 80–120k GPH. This does not. What this does is exist with essentially zero barrier to entry, work on alts you wouldn't trust near real content, and require no coordination with other humans.
GPH scales directly with kill speed (gear), skin speed (Deftness), and diffuser discipline. A well-geared character using diffusers on every mob will dramatically outperform the base loop. Treat it as a floor, not a ceiling.
If you want serious gold: Use TSM, check commodity prices on the regional AH before farming, and farm on raid reset days when Leatherworkers are desperate.

The raid requires a group entry. Find allies or use the Raid Finder tool: it takes under two minutes.
Whatever kills fastest at your gear level. The mobs are not dangerous. This is not a class question.
Perception for this farm: rare hides are worth more than shaving half a second off each skin animation.
It has a range (6–9 motes) but always returns more than invested at full Harvesting spec. It's profitable by design.
Yes: the catch-up system grants Knowledge passively from skinning. You earn spec while farming. Blizzard designed a Skinner Skinner loop.
