Omnium Folio Final Week: Complete Naigtal World Quests

The Omnium Folio final week has arrived, which means Blizzard has run out of new nodes and is now just asking you to go outside and hit things. All five rows are unlocked, and the last one is gated behind a trip to Naigtal, this cycle's rotating swamp of ethereal misery. If you skipped the earlier weeks, catch-up exists, so nobody is actually locked out, they are just lazy.

How to Unlock the Final Node

If you never touched the zone rotation, start with The Time to Strike, handed out by Riftblade Maella in Silvermoon. It exists purely to walk you to the portal, nothing more, so do not expect plot.

1. Complete the intro chain and step through the Void Portal into whichever zone is active this reset.
2. Find three world quests in the zone and finish them, they respawn every twenty minutes so patience is optional.
3. Kill the zone's world boss and loot the corpse, because the game does not trust you to remember that part.
4. Return to Magister's Terrace and hand in Seeking Knowledge Week 5 of 5: Off-World Magic for your final Mote of Omnial Inquiry.

This week the active side is Naigtal, so your target is Nexus-Captain Leth'ir, the Nexus-Captain Leth'ir world boss nobody asked for but everybody now has to kill. She is tied to both The Nexus-Captain on Normal and The Nexus-Captain (Heroic) if you enjoy suffering with better loot attached. There is no Dragonriding inside the zone, so equip Gunshoes unless you enjoy jogging through a swamp for character.

The quest is currently bugged and will not credit while you are in a raid group, so drop group before looting the boss, and remember the objective only credits off the corpse, not the kill.

Finishing this quest also unlocks the last Omnium Folio rune choices, three flavors of the same idea wearing different hats.

Pick whichever one your class guide tells you to pick, because guessing here is how people end up parsing logs and crying about it later.

Decor Reward

Clearing all five weeks also completes the account-wide Omnium Folio Studies achievement, and that is the entire point of grinding this system past week one. The payoff is the Sunstrider Omnium Simulacrum, a Sunstrider Omnium Simulacrum decor piece for your house, scaled down from the real Magister's Terrace relic so it actually fits through your door. It is free, it is permanent, and it is the closest thing to a trophy this borrowed power system will ever give you.

Why Bother This Week

The Omnium Folio sticks around for the entire expansion, so there is no expiry panic, but doing the Naigtal world quests now means you are not stuck redoing this during a busier patch later.
