This leveling plan is simple – dungeons first for XP and Honored, then quests later for Revered and gold, with a timed attunement sprint near level 68.

This is the whole ideyou level and you prep at the same time, so the raid date feels normal instead of scary.

You follow one route from 60 to 70, and you only break it for skill training, one-time quest runs, and attunement unlocks.
Now you take the same route, step by step, with direct actions and the timing that fits the launch World of Warcraft Anniversary leveling.

Day one is lag and open-world pain, so you go inside fast and you prepare your grind tools before your first real spam.
When your group meets near Hellfire, you go straight into instances and you stop feeding the open world.

You start with one quick Ramparts run, then you live in Blood Furnace until level 62, and you keep dungeon quests unturned until you hit Honored.

If your gear is rough, Blood Furnace can feel like a wall, so you stay in Ramparts until 61 and you grab upgrades on the way.

At 61 you take a short break, you go train, then you return and keep the same dungeon loop going.
This small trip pays back inside the dungeon, because level 61 skills matter in real pulls and real World of Warcraft Anniversary phase offers.

At 62 you move to Zangarmarsh, you set Hearthstone at Cenarion Refuge, and you turn Slave Pens into your home until 64.
Underbog mob density can feel awkward, so you take the quest XP and you go back to Slave Pens right after the run.

At 64 you do the Shattrath intro and you pick Aldor or Scryer, then you shift your hearth to your faction base and you grind Mana Tombs to 65.

Ring of Blood is the power spike that carries your damage pace to 70, so you treat it like a required checkpoint.

From 66 you hearth back to your Terokkar base, then you spam Sethekk Halls until you sit close to 68.
This is the “farm mode” part of the route, so you keep it simple and you keep the runs rolling with a steady World of Warcraft Anniversary gold.
Deep into 67 you go to Caverns of Time, you do the intro quest outside, then you finish a full Old Hillsbrad quest run to unlock Black Morass later.
If Black Morass feels rough for your group, you delay it and you go back to Sethekk until you reach 68.
At 68 the tutorial is over, and now you grind XP while you pick up the dungeons that unlock heroics and Karazhan progress.
Shattered Halls can feel brutal, so you swap into Shadow Labs or Steamvault if your group finishes those runs, and you still get rep progress inside level 70 dungeons.
Once you hit Honored with your main factions, you go back out and you turn quests into gold and Revered progress, and that is how heroic keys stop being a problem.
If you reverse the order, you end up back in normal dungeons later, and that time feels like a tax you did to yourself.
You want 70 and you want access, so we take the dungeon-first route – Hellfire into Zangarmarsh, then Terokkar and Caverns of Time, then the 68+ key sprint through Shadow Labs, Steamvault, and Shattered Halls, and then you cash quests at 70 for Revered and gold so February 19 feels like normal World of Warcraft Anniversary services.

Spam the right dungeons from 60–70 to gain XP plus Honored reputation. Reach 70 first, then turn saved quests for gold and Revered progress, so heroic keys unlock fast.
Pick dungeon quests early, then save turn-ins until main reps hit Honored. During one-time quest runs, finish the quest stack inside the dungeon, then return to the main spam route.
Set Hearthstone near the next grind to cut travel time and keep resets fast. Start in Hellfire, then move to Cenarion Refuge. Later set it in Terokkar base, close to Sethekk Halls.
At level 61, hearth out, train new skills, then return to Blood Furnace runs. Turn in Ominous Letter follow-up so the chain stays active, and dungeon pace stays strong in real pulls.
Run Underbog once for quest XP and a rep burst, then leave after turn-ins and return to Slave Pens spam. Treat Underbog as a quest sweep, so awkward mob density stays a short problem.
Do Ring of Blood at level 65 with a group, because the weapon reward lifts kill speed through late levels. Place it after Mana-Tombs, so the jump into Sethekk Halls feels smooth.
During 68–70, start Karazhan intro until Shadow Labyrinth becomes the next step, then run Shadow Labs for a key fragment. After that run Steamvault for the second fragment. Finish with Shattered Halls reputation grind toward Revered.
If the group slows in late 67, return to Sethekk Halls for steady XP and safe pulls. Unlock Old Hillsbrad first, then plan Black Morass when roles feel ready, so the run ends clean.
