PoE 2 Orb of Chance Farming Guide

The Orb of Chance is a high-risk currency. It unpredictably upgrades a Normal (white) item into a Unique item of the same base type, or completely destroys it. If you are wondering what is Orb of Chance used for in PoE 2, it is strictly for "chancing" specific items into expensive endgame Uniques.

How to Farm It

Stop wandering aimlessly. Here are the best ways to farm Orb of Chance in Path of Exile 2:

1. Direct Mob Drops

• Zones: Run Cruel Difficulty Acts and Tier 1+ Endgame Maps.
• Targets: Hunt Magic (Blue) and Rare (Yellow) mobs. Bosses have the highest drop chance overall.
• Modifiers: Open Strongboxes with "Currency", "Diviner", or "Arcanist" affixes.
• Note on Gear & Routes: Equip Item Rarity (Magic Find) gear to increase overall loot volume, giving you more chances for drops.
