Warframe Incarnon Genesis Week 9: Stug, Vectis & More

Week 9 of the Warframe Incarnon Genesis rotation drops five adapters into the Steel Path Circuit reward track, officially expanding the cycle from 8 to 9 weeks. You pick two. The other three taunt you until the rotation comes back around in approximately two months. Plan accordingly.

These are not new weapons. They are old weapons getting a second chance: the Incarnon Genesis system installs a secondary firing mode, unlocks a branching evolution perk tree, and demands you actually use the weapon long enough to earn the upgrades. Every adapter costs 20 Pathos Clamps and assorted Duviri resources upon installation. Cavalero handles the surgery.

Prerequisites: complete The Duviri Paradox, complete Angels of the Zariman, unlock Steel Path. Without all three, this article is a eulogy for your hypothetical loadout.

The Five Weapons

Each finisher hit triggers a large radial attack in Incarnon form. Prisma Obex carries base Electricity on heavy slams: native Melee Influence candidate. Range mods mandatory.

Finisher AOE is easy to proc. Surprisingly playable.

Notes & Verdict

Stug

Secondary • Pistol

Corrosive AOE

Unleashes a chaotic maelstrom of bouncing corrosive blobs. Charged by direct hits. No Prime variant exists (Base Stug or nothing).

The meme weapon that might unironically become meta. Hilarious if it does.

Vectis

Primary • Sniper

Puncture

Fires slowing projectiles that explode on headshots. Activate via Alt-Fire while unscoped. 5 weakpoint hits fill the gauge. 45-round max Incarnon magazine.

First sniper to get the treatment. Headshot discipline required. Vectis Prime recommended.

Ballistica

Secondary • Crossbow

Slash

Fires cross-shaped Slash projectiles. Base weapon already turns charged-shot kills into spectral allies for 7 seconds.

4 base multishot. Mathematical potential few secondaries share. Respect it. Use Ballistica Prime.

Destreza

Melee • Rapier

Puncture

Heavy attacks summon ghostly flying rapiers. Heavy attack kills grant bonus Puncture damage. Activates at 6x combo; lasts 180 seconds.

Solid. Not glamorous. Functional with the right crit stack. (Destreza Prime: 32% base crit, 3x multiplier).

Obex

Melee • Sparring

The Incarnon Genesis adapter does not transfer between weapon variants. Install it on the best variant you intend to use permanently. Installing it on a base weapon you plan to replace is 20 Pathos Clamps and your dignity, gone.

How the Steel Path Circuit Works

The Circuit is a Duviri activity with endless-style waves. At Tier 5 and Tier 10 of the Steel Path reward track, you choose from the five available Warframe Incarnon Genesis adapters for that week. You get two picks per full run. One Duviri cycle usually covers a single installation's Pathos Clamp cost from the Orowyrm fight and Undercroft portals.

No Steel Path access? You can buy adapters directly from Cavalero in the Chrysalith on the Zariman for 120 Platinum each, resources included. Only available during the active rotation week. Miss it, wait nine weeks.

The Duviri Steel Path Incarnon rotation resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Week 9 is live June 22–28. Evolution perk respecs are free at any time via Cavalero or the Arsenal: test builds in the Simulacrum before committing to a 60-minute Survival.

Build Recommendations

Vectis Prime

Crit-focused with Viral + Heat. Headshots charge the Incarnon gauge; five weakpoints fill it completely. Point Strike, Vital Sense, Hunter Munitions as backbone. The Incarnon form fires slowing projectiles that explode on headshot contact: ideal for grouped Steel Path enemies that let you chain procs.

Stug Incarnon

Corrosive base, multishot everything. Barrel Diffusion and Lethal Torrent accelerate blob stacking significantly. In Incarnon form, the bouncing corrosive blob maelstrom uses a separate 120-round magazine not affected by mods. Each direct hit charges the gauge. Could become a secondary meta pick if the AoE density scales appropriately. Optimistic? Yes. Embarrassing if wrong? Also yes.

Ballistica Prime

Slash and status. Cross-shaped Incarnon projectiles benefit from multishot. Four base multishot on the normal form gives this unusual mathematical headroom compared to most secondary Incarnons in the current rotation.

Destreza Prime

High crit base means standard melee crit stack applies directly: Pressure Point, Organ Shatter, a faction mod. Ghostly rapier summons on heavy attack are a passive add-on, not a build pivot. The 32% base crit with 3x multiplier does the heavy lifting.

Prisma Obex

Base Electricity on heavy slams makes this a natural Melee Influence candidate. Range mods are not optional: the finisher AOE radius needs to reach something. Condition Overload, Weeping Wounds, Blood Rush for the status stack. The radial attack on every finisher hit is easy to proc and provides incidental AoE that sparring stances typically lack.

What to Pick This Week

Two slots. Five options. This is the order a rational person should follow, assuming they don't already own these:

Stug Incarnon: Pure novelty with legitimate upside. No Prime means zero installation-variant regret. If it turns meta, you were early. If it doesn't, it was 20 Pathos Clamps and an amusing afternoon.

Destreza Prime: The ghostly rapier mechanic on a weapon that already has excellent crit stats is the most dependable pick this week for Steel Path reliability.

Prisma Obex: If you want a melee Incarnon and already have Destreza covered. The Melee Influence synergy is real.

Vectis Prime: First sniper Incarnon in the rotation. High ceiling, untested territory. Worth it if snipers are your thing. The Vectis Incarnon build headshot discipline requirement is non-negotiable.

Ballistica Prime: Slash secondary with sleeper potential. Take it if the others are already installed.

Weekly Reset Context

The Warframe weekly reset for June 21–28 includes a yellow Archon Shard from the Archon Hunt: not catastrophic. Clan loot is present but unremarkable; some Kuva if you need it. The Duviri Circuit this week offers Garuda, Baruuk, and Hildryn as Warframe choices on the standard track. Garuda is the obvious pick given the Vena skin relevance. Baruuk is purchasable directly from Little Duck. Hildryn requires Exploiter Orb farming regardless of whether you get her from the Circuit: a trap for the optimistic.

Teshin's Steel Path store is calm this week: veiled Riven cipher, Zaw Riven mod, primary and secondary arcane adapters. Nothing that demands immediate attention. Acrithis on the Zariman has ribbons and a secondary arcane adapter worth grabbing.

The Incarnon Evolution System

Each weapon has 5 evolution tiers. Installing the Genesis unlocks tier 1 automatically. The remaining tiers require in-mission challenges specific to each weapon: tracked in the Arsenal, completed independently of mission success. Each challenge grants 5,000 affinity, boosted by Affinity Boosters.

The Incarnon evolution perks at tiers 2–5 offer branching choices: two or three options per tier. Respecs are free at any time. There is no reason to commit blindly in a mission when the Simulacrum exists. Perk selection and weapon variant selection are the two decisions that actually matter and both are freely reversible. Act accordingly.

Warframe Incarnon Genesis Week 9: Stug, Vectis & More FAQ

Can I transfer the Incarnon Genesis to a different weapon variant later?

No. The adapter binds permanently to the weapon you install it on. Install it on your final variant or suffer.

What happens if I miss Week 9's Incarnon rotation?

Wait approximately nine weeks for the rotation to return. Two months. The game respects your time. It does not.

Do evolution perk choices lock me in permanently?

No. Respecs are free via Cavalero or the Arsenal at any time. Test in Simulacrum, not Steel Path endurance.

Is Stug Incarnon actually any good or just a meme pick?

Unknown. No Prime variant limits investment risk. If the corrosive blob AoE scales, it could rival Torid territory.

Do I need The Duviri Paradox completed to participate in this week's Incarnon farm?

Yes. Duviri Paradox, Angels of the Zariman, and Steel Path must all be unlocked. No exceptions, no workarounds.
