FFXIV 7.51 Minions: Budvi & Lite-loader Guide

FFXIV patch 7.51 dropped on June 2, 2026 as part of the Dawntrail 7.5x cycle. The headline act is Dancing Mad (Ultimate): Kefka, eternal clown, seventh Ultimate. Crafters got Auxesia, a new Cosmic Exploration star. And minion collectors got exactly two additions: Budvi and Lite-loader. That's it. Cherish them.

Both sources sit inside the crafting/gathering ecosystem, so raiders reclearing savage for the twelfth time can resume ignoring this entire page.

Budvi

Critter: Independent

A relic of the Nagylvi, reactivated when Auxesia's city systems came back online. Named by Namingway personally. Untradeable. Market prohibited. The universe specifically doesn't want you reselling it.

Lite-loader

Gadget: Independent

A toy warp loader from Garlond Ironworks, "part of a collectable series." Which means you'll be buying the next one too. Obtained from Cosmic Fortune draws on Auxesia.

Getting Budvi

Budvi comes from the quest The Songs of Distant Trees. This is an Auxesia Cosmic Exploration story quest, not something you can rush. Your entire data center has to collectively push the Auxesia project progress far enough before this questline even opens. Community-gated content. The forest decides when you're ready.

  1. Complete the Cosmic Exploration questline on Oizys, including Memory's Orbit.
  2. Pick up The Forests of Paradise from Searchingway on Oizys (X:17.2 Y:22.8) to unlock Auxesia.
  3. Travel to Auxesia via Bestways Burrow: speak to Drivingway in Mare Lamentorum (X:21.9 Y:13.2).
  4. Participate in stellar missions on Auxesia to contribute to server-wide project progress.
  5. Once enough progress is reached, The Songs of Distant Trees quest becomes available.
  6. Complete it. Budvi is your reward. Don't lose the quest item.

Note: Budvi is untradeable and market-prohibited. If your data center hasn't unlocked the quest yet, participation in stellar missions is your only move. Go earn your right to a small tree creature.

Getting Lite-loader

Lite-loader drops from Cosmic Fortune draws on Auxesia: the same credit-slot-machine system from previous stars. Earn Auxesia exploration tokens by running stellar missions or ground support in mech ops, then spend Auxesia credits at the Fortune draw. Unlike Budvi, this one is entirely down to your pull luck. Congratulations on your new gambling problem.

  1. Unlock Auxesia as described above.
  2. Complete stellar missions (Class B and higher) to earn Auxesia credits.
  3. Alternatively, join mech ops as ground support: same credits, less piloting.
  4. Take your credits to the Cosmic Fortune draw on Auxesia.
  5. Pull until you hate yourself or until Lite-loader appears. Whichever comes first.

Important: Auxesia credits are star-specific. Your leftover lunar credits, Phaenna credits, and Oizys credits do nothing here. Each star has its own economy. Square Enix appreciates your continued investment.

Minion Stats at a Glance

Both minions are playable in FFXIV Minion Battle on the Big Bridge. Below are their full combat stats. Whether they're "good" is a debate for people with too much free time.

Special Abilities

  • Budvi: Whisper of the Trees: Converts your party's auto-attacks to AoE for 12 seconds. Support-oriented. The tree cares about the team.
  • Lite-loader: Bulk Hauling: Deals 300-potency AoE damage to all nearby enemies, then immediately withdraws your action party from the field. It hits everything and then retires. Relatable.

Why You're Even on Auxesia

Patch 7.51 added Auxesia as the final destination in the Dawntrail Cosmic Exploration Initiative for Disciples of the Hand and Land. It's the capstone crafting/gathering zone of the expansion. Stellar missions now include Class A, Class B, and EX+ tiers, plus brand-new Tool Mastery Missions for players who fully upgraded a cosmic tool. Mastery missions reward tool mastery points, credits, exploration tokens, and standings contribution.

Exploration tokens from Auxesia can be exchanged for a special marketboard-tradable mount: meaning someone on your server will buy it for 10 million gil the first week. Tokens drop from EX+ stellar missions and tool mastery missions exclusively. No shortcuts. No sympathy.

For the non-crafters: the Dancing Mad Ultimate FFXIV raid also launched this patch: seven total Ultimates in six years. It requires clearing AAC Heavyweight M4 (Savage) first. The Wandering Minstrel in Tuliyollal unlocks it. Eight players, 120-minute limit, Kefka laughs the entire time.

Tiisol Ja Custom Deliveries

Patch 7.51 also added Tiisol Ja custom deliveries FFXIV: a new crafter/gatherer NPC in Tuliyollal running a taco stand. No, that's not a joke. You help develop Aunt Tii's menu in exchange for XP, gil, and scrips. The rewards don't include a minion directly, but completing the relationship track unlocks achievements and the title "Aunt Tii's Treasure." If you grind 150 collectables, you become "Taco Hero." That's canon.

Unlock Requirements

  • Complete main scenario quest: The Promise of Tomorrow
  • Complete side quest: Inscrutable Tastes (Foundation, Ishgard, X:10.1 Y:10.4, speak to Morgayne)
  • Be a Disciple of the Hand or Land, level 90 or above
  • Pick up quest: Taco Time from Hhuki in Tuliyollal (X:13.7 Y:12.1)

You can buy most crafting materials from Bol Javaw nearby (X:14.7 Y:12.1). Cheap. The weekly cap is 6 deliveries per NPC, 12 total across all Custom Delivery clients. Tiisol Ja is competing with your other contacts for that weekly allowance. Choose wisely. Or don't: the game resets Tuesday regardless.
