Warframe Incarnon Genesis Week 9: Stug, Vectis & More
Update 43.0 shipped broken: Sirius, Orion & NOCO cut your Talent drops in Uranus Proxima. Pablo hinted Hildryn and Thermal Sunder nerfs are coming...

Update 43.0: Jade Shadows: Constellations dropped on June 17, 2026, and brought two new Warframes, a permanent Railjack hub in Uranus called Pontis Tower, and a loot-eating bug that Digital Extremes quietly disclosed at 2 a.m. DE developer [DE]Taylor confirmed the issue on the official forums: using Sirius & Orion or NOCO in Uranus Proxima missions was causing reduced Talent token payouts on the end-of-mission screen.
[DE]Taylor, Warframe Forums:
"While we wait for QA to get us more information, please avoid using those Warframes in Uranus Proxima missions."
Read that again. The developer officially told players not to run the newest Warframe in the newest mission. Warframe loot bug does not begin to cover it. Talents are the primary currency for buying Sirius & Orion component blueprints from Hunhow: you need 545 total to purchase all parts outright. Losing tokens per run while farming a frame you need tokens to build is a special kind of loop.
Uranus Proxima Skirmish missions reward 12–16 Crimson or Emerald Talents on completion (18–22 on Steel Path). Every component blueprint costs 90 Talents; the main blueprint alone costs 275. If the bug is shaving tokens off your payout, you could be running anywhere from 9 to 14+ missions per blueprint instead of fewer. Nobody confirmed the exact deficit, but DE confirmed the bug is real and tied specifically to these three frames.

Since you cannot bring Sirius & Orion to their own farm, here is the straightforward path. how to get Sirius and Orion Warframe is a simple question with an annoying answer: RNG drops from the Kuva Wytch or Scoria's Angel Uranus Proxima Railjack Skirmish missions, at a 14.29% drop chance per blueprint. Every piece: Chassis, Systems, Neuroptics, and even the main blueprint: shares that same flat probability, meaning you can get duplicates of the main blueprint before you see a single component.
Run Steel Path if you can. The jump from 12–16 to 18–22 Talents per completion cuts your vendor-route grind significantly. Just remember: until DE patches the bug, do not bring Sirius & Orion or NOCO into these missions regardless of how much you want to.

On the same day as the update, Warframe's head of balance Pablo tweeted about the update's launch bugs. Someone in the replies asked why Sirius & Orion have line-of-sight restrictions when Hildryn Balefire nerf has never been a concern given Aegis Storm nukes entire rooms. Pablo's response: Balefire and Thermal Sunder nerf Warframe "should have line of sight," adding that DE "might have to add it if more AFK strats keep coming up."
That is not a patch note. That is a threat. Pablo mentioned Thermal Sunder unprompted, which means it was already on the table before anyone asked. For context, Thermal Sunder Helminth is one of the most abused subsumable abilities in the game: subsumed from Gauss onto frames like Titania, it blankets entire corridors in Heat and Cold procs, combining them into Blast to strip 100% armor and delete every enemy in sight without requiring Gauss's battery mechanic at full strength. Subsumed Thermal Sunder runs at 50% of Gauss's battery value by default, meaning the damage is already capped: and it is still dominant.

Hildryn Aegis Storm build works because the frame runs entirely on Shields instead of Energy. Hildryn's Aegis Storm lifts enemies into the air while she hovers and fires Balefire rockets, generating Energy Orbs constantly. With enough Shield capacity and Ability Strength, she becomes a self-sustaining flying turret that deletes rooms from above. DE has already applied line-of-sight changes to Aegis Storm in past hotfixes: this would be a return visit, likely far less gentle than the last one.
DE nerfs the dominant thing. Players move to the next dominant thing. Players complain about the next dominant thing. DE nerfs it. This is the Warframe meta nerf cycle. After slam attacks were gutted: jump height required went from a half-meter to eleven meters for the same AoE: the community found Thermal Sunder. If Thermal Sunder gets line-of-sight restrictions, the meta shifts to Equinox, or Saryn, or whatever currently bypasses walls most elegantly. Adding line-of-sight checks does not solve AFK strats; it just relocates them.
The AFK strat problem is a design incentive problem, not an ability power problem. If the most efficient way to complete a mission is to stand in one spot and press one button, that is a mission design failure. Nerfing the button does not fix the mission.

Yes. [DE]Taylor posted on the forums linking it to Sirius, Orion, and NOCO in Uranus Proxima specifically.
Pablo named it unprompted. It is not patched yet, but the intent is clear if AFK abuse continues.
Yes. Use any frame other than Sirius, Orion, or NOCO and your Talent payouts should be unaffected.
Pablo referenced Balefire directly. Aegis Storm already received LoS changes in past hotfixes: this would be another pass.
Buy from Hunhow at Pontis Tower. Steel Path runs net 18–22 Talents each; components cost 90 per piece.
