Valorant Act 4 Battle Pass Guide 2026
Patch 13.00 dropped. Sentinels got buffed, a Chinese mountain academy joined the map pool, and Retake mode exists now. Here's every agent, weapon...

The biggest news: Sentinels are no longer a liability. Killjoy, Cypher, Sage, Deadlock, and Vyse all received targeted buffs in 13.00. Killjoy's turret fires 50% faster. Sage heals 100 HP instead of 50. These are not rounding errors. If you've been instalocking Jett because "at least she's useful," this patch is a correction notice addressed specifically to you. The Valorant agent tier list below reflects win rates from ranked play as of patch day.

The Jett problem: 14.4% pick rate sitting in D-tier by win rate. The gap between "popular" and "good" has never been more embarrassing. Pick Sage. Win more. It's not complicated.
Riot's stated rationale: attackers were running repeated brainless 5-man site hits without consequence. So they handed Sentinels a toolbox. The best Valorant agents for ranked this Act are now the ones who actually hold sites: a concept apparently controversial until now.
Initiators also got relief: Sova, Fade, Skye, Breach, and KAY/O had their signature ability cooldowns trimmed from 60s to 50s. Gekko's reclaim cooldown dropped from 20s to 15s. Whether this saves Gekko from D-tier is left as an exercise for the optimistic.
Nothing seismic changed in the weapon meta this patch: the Bandit got a minor tune-up to make it "more viable outside pistol rounds," which is the weaponry equivalent of a participation trophy. The Vandal vs Phantom debate remains unsettled and will outlast civilization. Pick the one that fits your aim style and stop asking.

Notes |
|
S |
Vandal, Ghost, Frenzy, Bandit, Shorty, Sheriff |
50.2–54.2% |
Vandal: 93.3% pick rate. The Shorty's 54.2% WR is real: it only shows up in the right hands at close range. |
|
A |
Phantom, Marshal, Bucky |
49.6–51.9% |
Phantom: better spray, no tracers, damage falloff past 15m. Your choice of religion, essentially. |
|
B |
Spectre, Odin, Ares, Judge, Stinger |
49.4–52.7% |
Odin at 52.7% WR on a 3% pick rate: the wall-bang weapon nobody talks about. |
|
C |
Guardian, Bulldog, Classic, Outlaw |
48–50% |
Guardian: 30.1% pick rate, C-tier performance. Overvalued. Classic free and overrated. |
Bandit update: Riot reduced windup and tightened spread to make it competitive with Ghost and Sheriff on non-pistol rounds. Early data is cautiously neutral. The Bandit remains the weapon for players who want to feel clever.
The Valorant competitive map pool got reshuffled. Fracture and Pearl are gone. Summit and Sunset return. RR losses on Summit are cut 50% for two weeks, which is Riot's way of admitting they know you'll lose on an unfamiliar map and are being decent about it for once.

SummitNEW |
IN |
Radiant training academy. Mountains of China. Droppable walls that reshape sightlines mid-round. Actually interesting. |
|
Sunset |
IN (return) |
Back in rotation. A perfectly average map that offends nobody and excites nobody. |
|
Ascent, Haven, Split, Breeze, Lotus, Icebox |
IN |
Unchanged. Ascent remains the definitive testing ground for whether your team has a brain. |

Fracture |
OUT |
Removed. Half the playerbase is relieved. The other half are lying about their feelings. |
|
Pearl |
OUT |
Gone again. Nice geometry. Terrible for everyone who hates long mid fights. So, everyone. |
Summit's droppable walls are the patch's most genuinely novel mechanic: shoot the node, the wall drops, the sightline opens. It means the map state isn't static. Utility placement that worked Round 1 may be useless by Round 12. Killjoy and Cypher (conveniently freshly buffed) will have to be relearned map-by-map. Riot planned this.
New Valorant game mode: 3v3, Spike already planted, first to 5 rounds. No economy: each round you pick from randomized weapon and ability cards that escalate as the game progresses. Fast, loud, and good for learning post-plant utility without the emotional damage of a full competitive loss.

Riot adjusted how Ranked Rating is calculated: players who consistently win should now climb faster, particularly at Immortal and above. Matchmaking is also tighter: both teams should sit within one sub-tier on average, meaning Gold 2 plays Gold 2, not Platinum 3. Whether this fixes ranked or simply moves the complaints to a different tier is unclear. The ranked climb on Summit specifically comes with 50% reduced RR loss for two weeks, which is a reasonable concession for a brand-new map nobody has memorized.
Premier players: Stage V26A4 starts July 1. You need 600 Premier Score to qualify for Playoffs on August 16. The new Inbox system in the client will notify you: eventually.

Sage at 53.6% win rate. Nobody believes it. The data does not care about disbelief.
Vandal for long-range headshots. Phantom for spraying through smokes. Both are 2900 credits and both will betray you.
New 5v5 map in China. Three lanes, two sites, droppable walls that change sightlines mid-round. Replaces Fracture.
Yes, if you want post-plant reps without burning real ranked RR. It's limited-time, so the answer is: obviously, now.
Jett has a 14.4% pick rate and D-tier win rate. Viable for personal expression, not for winning games.
