League of Legends Patch 26.14: Full Patch Notes and Champion Changes

Every two weeks Riot Games rearranges the furniture in Summoner's Rift and calls it balance. League of Legends patch 26.14 is the first update after the mid year break, and it lands right after MSI 2026 wrapped up, so consider it the official cleanup crew arriving to sweep away whatever the pros abused on stage. Expect a mix of buffs for champions nobody picked, nerfs for champions everybody picked, and a couple of item tweaks that will annoy players who just finished building their favorite item set.

When Does Patch 26.14 Release

The lol patch 26.14 release date is July 15, 2026. As always, timing depends on your region, since Riot rolls the update out server by server rather than flipping one global switch.

Champion Buffs in Patch 26.14

The lol patch 26.14 champion buffs mostly target picks that struggled to keep up after the last round of adjustments. Corki, Mordekaiser, Nami, and Yunara all receive numerical improvements, while Azir gets bug fixes rather than raw power.

ChampionChange
AzirSeveral long standing bugs fixed, no stat changes
CorkiAD growth raised from 2 to 2.5; Missile Barrage cooldown reduction on autos improved from 2 to 4 seconds up to 2 to 6 seconds
MordekaiserRealm of Death stat steal up from 10 percent to 13 percent; Death's Grasp damage up from 60 to 120 (plus 40 percent AP) to 60 to 140 (plus 45 percent AP)
NamiTidecaller's Blessing damage per hit raised from 20 to 60 total up to 20/35/50/65/80, for a new total of 60 to 240
YunaraAD growth raised from 2.5 to 3

Champion Nerfs in Patch 26.14

The lol patch 26.14 nerfs hit exactly the champions you would expect after watching them dominate MSI. Garen, Jayce, Locke, Senna, and Seraphine all lose some power, with Locke getting his very first round of adjustments since release.

ChampionChange
GarenDemacian Justice true damage reduced from 150/250/350 to 125/200/275, missing health ratio unchanged
JaycePost form swap move speed cut from 40 for 0.75 seconds to 30; Mercury Hammer resistances lowered at higher ranks
LockeRitual Nails damage lowered from 50 to 90 down to 50 to 82; stack bonus damage cut from 20 to 60 down to 18 to 50; recast hold time shortened from 5 to 4 seconds; Soul Ignition grey health cap reduced
SennaCritical strike damage modifier reduced from minus 15 percent to minus 20 percent; Piercing Darkness slow and healing ratios both scaled down
SeraphineHigh Note AP ratio reduced from 50 percent to 40 percent

Ranked Season 2 ends at 23:59 local server time on July 28, the final day of patch 26.14. Season 3 begins at 12:00 noon on July 29. Ranked queues and shard transfers are disabled during that gap, so finish your promos early.

Item and Rune Changes

The lol patch 26.14 item changes focus on cooling down a few options that were performing a little too well. Blue Buff gets a quality of life improvement while several AP and sustain tools are toned down.

Item or Rune

Change

Blue Buff

Ability Haste now scales with level, from a flat 10 to 10/15/20

Hextech Rocketbelt

Build path reworked, AP lowered from 70 to 60, health raised from 300 to 350, cooldown increased from 40 to 50 seconds

Immortal Path (Gluttonous Greaves mid upgrade)

Damage bonus cut from 5 percent to 4 percent; healing, shielding and regen bonus cut from 15 percent to 12 percent

Jack of All Trades

Adaptive Force at five and ten stacks reduced from 10/25 to 6/20

Protoplasm Harness

Cost raised from 2500 to 2600 gold; bonus health and healing ranges both start lower

T1 Worlds Skins Arrive in Patch 26.14

To celebrate the first three peat world champion team in League history, the T1 worlds skins line launches alongside the balance changes. Seven skins are included, each tied to a specific pro player and their signature champion.

  • T1 Galio

  • T1 Xin Zhao

  • T1 Seraphine

  • T1 Ambessa

  • T1 Yunara

  • MVP T1 Miss Fortune

  • Victorious Rengar

Individual skins cost 1350 RP, with the MVP Miss Fortune skin priced at 1820 RP. A megabundle wraps everything together with an exclusive title, lobby banner, and a golden team icon, but only for two patches before it disappears at the start of patch 26.16.

Ranked Season 2 Wrap Up and Season 3

Anyone chasing rank should pay attention here, since lol ranked season 3 officially kicks off right after this patch closes out. Season 2 ends July 28, and the Victorious mission asking you to win 15 ranked games resets fresh once Season 3 begins on July 29. Riot has stated there should be no disruption to LP progression during the changeover, though shard transfers pause temporarily to let rewards calculate properly.

Summoner's Rift Clash

Squad based tournament fans get their moment too, since a lol clash schedule slot lands during this patch. Grab four friends, pick a name that is funnier than it is strategic, and prepare to forget how items work the moment the tournament actually starts.

Mayhem and Arena Adjustments

Outside the standard map, Mayhem mode gets its augment pool rebalanced. The Dropkick augment was snowballing games far too consistently, so it takes a hit, while several underused augments receive buffs to make them worth picking. Arena also receives smaller tuning changes for this patch cycle.

Early Tier List Impressions

Any lol patch 26.14 tier list published this week will likely push Corki, Mordekaiser, and Yunara upward while dropping Garen, Jayce, and Locke down a peg. Senna remains playable even after back to back nerf rounds, since her base kit is still strong, just less oppressive than before. Treat early tier lists with a healthy dose of skepticism though, since these things shift once players actually adapt their builds.
