Diablo 4 Vision of the Firestorm Guide
The Druid's best S13 build is here: Rabies stacks poison, Lacerate detonates it. Mad Wolf's Glee. Five-set dashes. Full guide: skills, gear, Paragon.
A two-button poison nuke. Rabies spreads Superinfection through packs, stacking Poison damage on every enemy it touches. Lacerate: normally an Ultimate on a long cooldown: gets stripped of that limitation by Mad Wolf's Glee, which converts it into a spammable Core Skill costing 100 Spirit instead. The result is a chain reaction: infect, detonate, everything dies. The Diablo 4 Druid werewolf build finally has teeth.
It comes online absurdly fast. Superinfection Rabies is unlocked early, and the first in-game event already pushes you to level 7. You will not be babysitting a leveling build for two hours. This is a Season 13 werewolf build that earns its keep from the first dungeon.
The Lacerate Toxin Outburst passive is the engine. Every time Lacerate hits, it detonates all stored Poison damage on the target. Rabies Superinfection spreads Poisoning to nearby enemies on hit: each infected enemy is a bomb waiting for your next Lacerate cast. Stack poison on a pack, detonate the pack, collect loot. The Season 13 poison Druid build lives and dies by this two-step combo.
The Season 13 Skill Tree rework introduced Shifting Nodes: form-specific pathing that costs zero Skill Points. Werewolf and Werebear boards now interact cleanly with form-locked skills, meaning your Paragon investment doesn't fight your skill choices. More relevant: Dark Howl locks you in Werewolf form permanently, so you never accidentally drift into human and forfeit every damage multiplier you built around.
Paragon warning: Running Werewolf skills with a board pathed for Werebear bonuses silently deletes your damage. Season 13 punishes mismatched Glyph/skill tags more than any previous season. Audit your board after every Skill Variant change.
Rabies (15) Lacerate (15) Hurricane (1) Debilitating Roar (1) Blood Howl (15) Cyclone Armor (5)
Rabies at 15 is the poison applicator. Spam it. Lacerate at max rank detonates everything. Hurricane: always active, form-agnostic since the rework, won't break your Werewolf state. Debilitating Roar with Dark Howl becomes a Werewolf skill and adds a substantial damage multiplier while keeping you locked in form. Blood Howl handles Spirit regeneration and doubles as emergency healing. In farm content where landing Superinfection on a single enemy is tedious, Blood Howl Poison substitutes as the Poisoning source for Lacerate: swap Cyclone Armor D4 gold to max it.

Mythic priority: Ring of Starless Skies solves Spirit generation. If you want bigger damage instead, Heir of Perdition nearly doubles output on most setups. Both are valid. Heir wins if your Spirit sustain is already solid.
The Druid Spirit Boon system was reworked for Season 13. Old Season 12 setups are likely wrong. Pick five: Gift of the Stag (passive Spirit generation), Iron Feather (30% max life: absurdly strong for survivability), Avian Wrath (40% critical strike damage multiplier), Energize (Spirit on Lucky Hit: the best Spirit regen this season), and Masochistic (Berserking from Shapeshifting crits). Do not get creative. These five exist for a D4 leveling.
The five-piece Linta of the Red Wolf Moon set turns the Druid Lacerate werewolf build into something that moves faster than a Sorcerer. The two-set bonus generates Frenzy. Tolerable. But the five-set bonus adds Dash to every Werewolf skill: meaning Rabies, Lacerate, and Debilitating Roar all teleport you to the target. Combined with the Werewolf form lock from Dark Howl, you are permanently a dash-spamming infection machine. Farm Torment I specifically for Set Charm drops the moment you can survive it. A full five-set is a massive power spike, not optional side content.
Max boards is five: Starter Board plus four Class Boards. For the Season 13 Druid Paragon build, the pathing is defensive-oriented early: take Werewolf board over Headhunter until gear compensates. Swap in Fang and Claw glyph for damage against nearby enemies. If you need more survivability, swap Fang and Claw for Undaunted. At Paragon 200 the path is strict: hit all Legendary nodes, essential rare nodes, and fill Glyph areas. The build has the damage; it needs to survive.
Glyph priority, Season 13: Focus three to four Glyphs that directly support Poison/Werewolf. Spreading upgrades thin is how you lose 40% damage. The Season Challenge requires Rank 30 Glyphs for Rank VI, Rank 45 for Rank VIII, Rank 50 for Rank IX. The Pit is no longer optional. It is the game.
Subo as primary: movement speed and critical strike damage. Works for leveling, works for endgame. Varyana as reinforcement. Her Bloodthirst skill adds attack speed, which translates to more Rabies casts per second and therefore more Poison stacks before Lacerate detonates. Nothing exotic here.
That is the entire rotation for the Diablo 4 Rabies Druid Season 13. It is clunky: Superinfection targets one enemy, so dense fast packs punish you. The five-set Dash mitigates this by making every cast a reposition. You learn to infect while moving. Or you die a lot without D4 items.

No substitute exists. Without it Lacerate stays on a long cooldown and the entire build falls apart completely.
A-tier. Damage is down from testing, but still one of the stronger Druid options this season.
Ring of Starless Skies solves Spirit generation. Heir of Perdition nearly doubles damage if Spirit sustain is already fine.
Variant swaps change skill tags. Your board synergies depend on those tags. Audit every board after any variant change.
Yes, with full gear and leveled Glyphs. Defensive Paragon pathing first, then shift offensive once survivability is solid.
