COD Uncaged Event Pass Guide – All Rewards & Fastest XP Tips

The Uncaged event pass dropped with Black Ops 7 Season 4 Reloaded on June 25, 2026. It's a standard XP-gated reward track — earn player XP in any mode, items fall out. Two tracks: one free, one costs 1,100 COD Points (~$10). The event runs until July 16. After that, most rewards vanish forever, though the AN-94 assault rifle and Executioner's Duet melee weapon move to the Armory as a consolation prize for people who didn't show up.

The event was originally marketed under the name "Nick Cage" before Activision presumably remembered they run a corporation and renamed it "Uncaged" at launch. Nicolas Cage reportedly said nothing about this.

Quick Numbers Roughly ~300,000–400,000 total XP to clear the free track. Premium runs parallel — same XP bar, more items falling out. You don't need to reprogress after buying premium.

Free Track Rewards

You get these by existing and playing. The Black Ops 7 free rewards include two actual weapons, which is the only reason to care about the free side.

The AN-94 assault rifle unlock is the headline free reward — a new Season 4 Reloaded weapon that you'd otherwise need to buy through a store bundle. The Executioner's Duet dual melee is also legitimately new content. The rest is decorative.

This is the Nicolas Cage operator skin track. 1,100 COD Points, earned alongside your free track XP — no extra grinding required after purchase. If you complete the free track first and buy premium later, all unlocked tiers are awarded retroactively. Activision isn't completely heartless.

The Nicolas Cage operator skin is behind the premium track because of course it is. The "Unlimited" final skin is the one with actual armor plating and a different look. Two Nick Cage skins, two voice lines, zero surprises about how this industry works.

Should you buy it? If you want the Nick Cage operator skin, yes — there's no other way to get it. If you're here for weapons only, the AN-94 and Executioner's Duet are both on the free track. Save your COD Points.

Running alongside the event pass is a Season 4 Reloaded daily login bonus track. This is a different system — log in 7 out of 14 days, collect rewards. Resets around 9:00 AM Pacific. Simple.

Day 7 gives you the Catharsis weapon blueprint for the X9 Maverick assault rifle — no tracers, not animated, but it's a free blueprint for showing up. The rest is tokens and cosmetics. Log in. It takes four seconds.

The event pass runs on player XP. All modes count: Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. Here is what actually works, ranked by efficiency.

Stack Double XP tokens during double XP weekends. Two such weekends are expected before July 16.

Standard multiplayer is the worst XP per hour unless your elimination counts are very high. Every 5 minutes back in the lobby is 5 minutes not earning XP. Avoid unless you genuinely enjoy it and happen to be grinding at the same time.

Weekly and daily challenges stack on top of everything else. Complete them. Challenge stacking — turning in multiple completed objectives at once — causes XP spikes that push several tiers at once. Do not ignore challenges.

Double XP Weekends Activate all saved tokens during these windows. The event lasts until July 16 — at least two double XP weekends should fall inside that window. Save tokens for those dates if you have them stacked.

After the Event Ends

When Uncaged closes on July 16, the AN-94 and Executioner's Duet move to the Armory — so you can still unlock those weapons later. Everything else — all operator skins, blueprints, calling cards, emblems — is gone permanently. If you want the Nicolas Cage operator skin, July 16 is your hard deadline. That skin will not come back to the store. That is the whole business model.
