BO7 Season 4 Reloaded: Release Date & Full Overview

Black Ops 7 Season 4 Reloaded went live June 25, 2026. It dropped at 9AM PT across every platform simultaneously, because Activision apparently decided everyone deserves to be equally sleep-deprived. The preload was up on Battle.net first if you were smart enough to grab it early. If not, enjoy the wait screen.

Note: This is a title update. Not patching the live build. Download it. Or don't play. The choice is yours and it is the only one that matters today.

Multiplayer: Maps & Modes

Two new 6v6 maps arrive. Zenith is a cliffside manor for people who enjoy getting sniped while admiring the architecture. Launch is a Black Ops 1 remake of a missile site, because nostalgia is a more reliable product pipeline than original ideas.

• Zenith: New map. Luxurious. You will die beautifully.
• Launch: Black Ops 1 remake. Missile site. Classic chaos, repackaged.
• Black Ops Classic Mode: Now permanent. Adds Launch, Fringe, Hacienda, Gridlock to rotation.

BO7 Season 4 Reloaded multiplayer also brings two limited-time modes: Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, where everyone's gun rotates every few seconds whether you like it or not, and Knife Fight, a melee-only Gunfight variant for people who have fully given up on gunplay.

Two weapons ship with the update. Both available across all modes.

The AN-94 assault rifle Black Ops 7 gets a Mastercraft blueprint: the "Chronovox": in the Ironclad Tracer Pack bundle. Pay up or use the base variant like a commoner.

Zombies: Kowakujo Map

The headline addition. Kowakujo Zombies map is a round-based map set inside Takeo's family castle in feudal Japan, surrounded by active volcanoes, drowning in lava. The Dark Aether apparently has no real estate restrictions.

What's in the Map

• Oni: New enemy. Wields a kanabō war club. Commands thunder. Delightful.
• Scorched Zombies & Hellhounds: Fire-drenched. They will set you on fire. Lava rivers do the same.
• New Wonder Weapon: Undisclosed. Discover it yourself or watch someone else find it on YouTube in 40 minutes.
• Komainu Trap: Dual statue traps summon ghostly riflemen. Power must be on first.
• PPSh-41 SMG: Ultra-rarity legacy weapon in the Mystery Box. Full Pack-a-Punch support. In a lava castle. Fine.

Lava Rivers: They slow you down and deal damage. They are not decoration. Step in, get burned, die, feel something.

New GobbleGum

Hellping Hound (Legendary): Spawns a friendly Hellhound for 5 minutes in round-based. Three hounds in Dead Ops Arcade. Yes, they named it Hellping Hound. No, they are not sorry.

Endgame: Operation King Killer

The new Endgame operation sends you to end The Guild's stranglehold on Avalon. Story continues. Karma's jungle sanctuary is under assault. It is dramatic. Whether you care about the narrative is your business.

COD Endgame Season 4 Reloaded also includes the Command Killer Glitch challenge: complete it, earn free camos and operator skins. No purchase required. Treyarch's one concession to humanity this update.

Warzone: Champion's Quest Returns

The most masochistic objective in Warzone is back. To unlock the Champion's Contract, your squad must win 5 consecutive Battle Royale matches OR rack up 30 total wins during the season. Completing all four phases nets an exclusive camo and Legendary Operator skin. Additional completions stack more rewards.

• Squad Gun Game: 30-player large-scale mode on Resurgence maps. 5 points advances your weapon. It's chaos. It's always chaos.
• Buy Back Quads: 142-player mode. Auto-redeploy if you're carrying $4,000+. Available July 9-13 only.
• Champions Quest: Warzone Champions Quest BO7 rewards your miserable grind with cosmetics. Available now.

Nicolas Cage. Yes. Really.

Activision's boldest creative decision this season is a Nicolas Cage Call of Duty bundle. The Nick Cage Event Pass costs 1,100 COD Points and unlocks the operator, the AN-94 assault rifle, and additional items. He is in every mode. He will not explain himself. Neither will the developers.

Summer of Action: The seasonal theme. Nick Cage leads it. The marketing team had fun. Whether you do is a personal matter.

BO7 Season 4 Reloaded patch notes carry the usual tuning pass. Outlier weapons took nerfs. Underperformers got buffs. The meta will shift exactly 12% in a direction no one predicted.
