A	Razor 9mm SMG	1.7%	Range increase in Season 3 Reloaded gave it teeth past 10 meters. Still fast, still mobile, now holds slightly longer fights.
A	MK.78 LMG	1.9%	Drum mag reload buffed 23%. Barrel attachments now meaningfully improve recoil and range. LMGs are useful this patch. Write it down.

B	Warden 308 Marksman Rifle	—	Unintended strafing weapon motion removed in Season 3 Reloaded. Now fires where aimed. A dramatic improvement for a gun that used to fight the player.
B	Dravec 45 SMG	2.7%	Headshot multiplier, ADS speed, and sprint speed all ticked upward. Good irons, good magazine, underrated entirely.
B	MXR-17 Assault Rifle	2.0%	Strong at distance, weaker elsewhere. ANVL Conversion Kit adds a fast-start fire rate that makes it chaotic and occasionally terrifying.
B	Carbon 57 SMG	1.4%	A-tier recoil control in a B-tier package. Reliable up close. Does not require apology.
C	M8A1 Marksman Rifle	1.4%	Burst delay costs fights. The ceiling is real; so is the floor. Precise players only, and even then.
C	Shadow SK Sniper Rifle	—	Semi-auto sniper trading precision for fire rate. Loses both arguments in practice against the VS Recon.

Season 3 Reloaded: Buffs & Nerfs

Every BO7 Season 3 Reloaded weapon buff and nerf worth knowing. The Warden 308 now fires straight. The Peacekeeper can be aimed without a full-body workout. One reworked barrel attachment flipped its penalty into a bonus: any class running it got substantially better without touching a single slot.

BUFF: AK-27 Min long-range damage: 29 → 30. Bystro Speed Barrel horizontal recoil: 20% → 25%. Now the best raw-damage AR in the game.
BUFF: Peacekeeper Mk1 Recoil control improved. Full 8-attachment build tames it into an aggressive, map-controlling AR with SMG mobility.
BUFF: Kogot-7 Bullet velocity: 870 → 905 m/s. Recoil reduced across all axes. Extended mag reload +15%. Back in the conversation.
BUFF: Dravec 45 Headshot multiplier 1.1x → 1.12x. ADS speed: 180ms → 170ms. Sprint and ADS move speed both increased. Small numbers, actual impact.
BUFF: MK.78 Drum mag reload +23%. Barrel upgrades now deliver stronger recoil control and range bonuses. LMG lane-holding is legitimate this season.
BUFF: Razor 9mm Damage range increased. Holds fights slightly longer than its reputation suggests. Now closer to A-tier than it was.
BUFF: Warden 308 Projectile Velocity: 142 → 152 m/s. Gravity reduced. Post-impact velocity falloff significantly reduced. Fires like a sniper for the first time.
BUFF: Key Barrel Attachment Previously penalized damage range by 20%; now improves it by 20%, plus recoil control and bullet deviation by 10%. Every class using it got better for free.
NERF: Warden 308 Motion Unintended strafing weapon motion removed. The chaos advantage is gone. In exchange: the gun actually works now.

Class-by-Class Breakdown

Assault Rifles

The best Black Ops 7 Season 3 Reloaded AR depends entirely on what you need from it. The Voyak KT-3 remains the easiest recommendation: manageable recoil, strong mid-range damage, no surprises in any direction. The AK-27 demands proper attachment investment but rewards it with the highest raw damage output in the class, made more accessible after the Season 3 Reloaded buff. The MK35 ISR handles mixed-range fights without friction and is the most straightforward recommendation for anyone who does not want to think about it.

SMGs

The BO7 Season 3 Reloaded SMG tier list rewards aggression. The MPC-25 carries the highest ceiling but requires serious attachment work: tumultuous recoil and a punishingly short damage range both need to be addressed before the gun performs at its stated tier. The RK-9 is the biggest winner of the patch: burst SMG range and kill speed that survived quality control remarkably intact. The Sturmwolf 45 without its Conversion Kit is merely solid; with it, a 300ms TTK at 26 meters becomes available to anyone willing to build around it.

Snipers & Marksman Rifles

The VS Recon is the best Black Ops 7 sniper rifle in Season 3 Reloaded. Fast rechambering, reasonable ADS speed, and the R-Stop Handguard Prestige attachment improve hold-breath duration, recovery, and sprint-to-fire speed simultaneously. The Swordfish A1 arrived in Season 2 Reloaded broken and lands in Season 3 Reloaded merely excellent: the nerf was proportionate and the community complaints were not. The Warden 308 projectile changes turned a weapon that fought its user into one that simply works.

LMGs

The MK.78 received a 23% faster drum mag reload and meaningfully stronger barrel attachment bonuses this season. For players holding power positions on large maps, it works: and that was not something that could be said before. Nobody is winning Ranked Play with an LMG. But the question was whether they could be useful. The answer is now yes, briefly.
