Battlefield 6 Vehicles Tier List: Every Ride Ranked for Season 4

Putting together a real battlefield 6 vehicles tier list means ranking ten existing vehicle classes plus everything Season 4 just dumped into the ocean. Every faction runs a NATO and a Pax Armata version of the same vehicle, so this list ranks by role rather than by paint job, since the two sides are functionally identical machines with different names. Tiers run S through D, based on firepower, survivability, and how much a good driver can actually carry a match with each one.

On the battlefield 6 season 4 new vehicles front, Tsuru Reef brought naval combat with it, and that means boats and eventually carrier based jets joining the roster for the first time. The RCB-90 Patrol Boat and the 7.7m NSW RHIB both arrived at Season 4 launch on July 21, while the F/A-18 Super Hornet and F-14 Tomcat stay locked until the Top Gun phase on August 18. Aircraft carriers show up even later, in the Tidal Strike phase come September.

S-Tier: Nothing Else Comes Close

The battlefield 6 attack helicopter, the M77E Falchion for NATO and the Panthera KHT for Pax Armata, sits at the top for a simple reason: it has the highest skill ceiling in the game and rewards every hour spent learning it. A good pilot with heavy rockets and a gunner covering the door can erase infantry squads and armor alike, and the emergency repair kit lets it disengage from fights that would kill anything else outright.

Right behind it is the main battle tank, the M1A2 SEPv3 and the Leo A4, and asking what the battlefield 6 best tank is barely counts as a real question since both versions perform identically. It carries the heaviest armor of any ground vehicle, a coaxial machine gun that shreds infantry, and a 120 millimeter cannon that ends most other vehicles in one or two hits. It moves like a bathtub full of concrete, but nothing on the ground wants to trade shots with it head on.

The newest entry into S-tier is not live yet. The battlefield 6 f-14 tomcat and its NATO counterpart, the F/A-18 Super Hornet, are two seat naval jets landing August 18 with a second crew slot for a dedicated gunner or bombardier. A second set of eyes and a second weapon system on the same airframe as a regular fighter jet is a straightforward upgrade, so once Phase 2 lands these two are set to outclass every single seat jet currently in the game.

A-Tier: Excellent, With a Catch

The infantry fighting vehicle, the M3A3 Bradley and the STRF 09 A4, trades some of the tank's armor for speed and a troop compartment, making it the vehicle most players end up using the most simply because it does a bit of everything. Its HEI-T rounds tear through infantry while its TOW2 missiles handle armor, though those missiles are noticeably weaker against a proper tank than the tank's own cannon.

Sorting out the battlefield 6 fighter jet vs attack jet debate mostly comes down to what you want to hunt. The Fighter Jet, meaning the F-97 Kestrel and the Su-57, leans into air to air combat with homing missiles built for shredding helicopters and other jets. The Attack Jet, the F-61V and the F-39E, swaps that loadout for a gatling cannon and guided rockets aimed at ground targets. Both fly the same airframe health and both demand real practice before they stop feeling like expensive ways to die.

Among the new battlefield 6 boats, the RCB-90 Patrol Boat is the clear standout. It seats two, with a driver controlling a 30 millimeter autocannon and missiles while a second player mans a 120 millimeter mortar, and it can drop a ramp to let squads spawn straight onto a beach. That combination of firepower and its own spawn point makes it a small floating fortress on Tsuru Reef.

Until August 18 puts jets over the ocean too, the RCB-90 is the single strongest thing on Tsuru Reef's water. Whichever team parks one near a contested flag and keeps it repaired is very often the team that wins the match.

B-Tier: Useful, Rarely Exciting

The transport helicopter, the UH-79, is the one vehicle shared by both factions rather than getting a faction specific reskin, and its entire job is getting a squad from spawn to objective quickly. It carries no real offensive punch, so treat it as a taxi rather than a weapon. The scout helicopter, the AH-6 Little Bird for NATO and the MH-350 for Pax Armata, arrived in Season 2 and plays a similar role with slightly better agility and worse survivability.

  • The 7.7m NSW RHIB is the lighter of the two Season 4 boats, seating four with a single mounted 50 caliber gun and no armor to speak of.
  • It moves fast enough for flanking runs and quick objective grabs, which is exactly the job it was built for.
  • Anyone caught standing on the deck in the open is an easy kill for literally anything on the map that can aim.

C-Tier and Below: Situational at Best

The Armored Transport, called Traverser Mark 2 on both sides, and the Light Ground Transport, the Glider 96 and the Vector, both exist to move players around a map quickly and both fold up the moment anything with a real gun looks their way. They are fine for covering ground on a huge map like Tsuru Reef and genuinely bad for anything resembling a fight.

Sitting alone in D-tier is the battlefield 6 anti air vehicle, the Cheetah 1A2 for NATO and the GE-26 PAX for Pax Armata. Its 35 millimeter cannon and pair of anti-air missiles make life miserable for enemy pilots, but that is the only job it can do. Against infantry or armor it is nearly useless, and if the enemy team simply refuses to fly, the entire vehicle becomes dead weight that nobody wants to drive.

The Wildcard Nobody Can Rank Yet

The battlefield 6 aircraft carrier is confirmed for the Tidal Strike phase in September, expanding Tsuru Reef so the carriers become playable rather than background scenery. It is not really a vehicle in the traditional sense, more of a moving objective that jets can launch from and infantry can fight across, so it sits outside the tier system entirely until players actually get their hands on one.

The Bottom Line

If there is one honest answer to what the battlefield 6 best vehicle is right now, it is the attack helicopter for anyone willing to put in the practice, and the main battle tank for anyone who wants results without a learning curve. Season 4 has not rewritten that hierarchy yet, it has just added a genuinely strong floating alternative in the RCB-90 and parked a pair of future S-tier jets on the calendar for August. Everything above reflects the vehicle roster confirmed for Season 4 Phase 1, so expect this list to shift once the naval jets and aircraft carriers actually enter rotation.
