Battlefield 6 Season 3 Guide & Roadmap
Season 3 is live. New weapons are here. Most of them won't save you. Here's the full BF6 Season 3 weapon tier list: who's S-tier, who's dead weight, a

Season 3 dropped. DICE gave you four new weapons, a massive new map, and the audacity to call it Warlords: Supremacy. The Battlefield 6 Season 3 weapon tier list below is not an opinion column: it is a ranked record of what works and what will get you killed while you tell yourself you're learning the gun.
This is not a love letter. This is a BF6 meta tier list Season 3 structured around TTK, map sightlines, and the cold reality that most guns in this game are A-tier at best on paper and C-tier in your hands on Railway to Golmud.
|
Tier |
Weapon |
Class |
Verdict |
|
S |
M433 |
Assault Rifle |
Balanced recoil, fast TTK. Dominant in every situation. Pick it and stop pretending otherwise. |
|
S |
B36 |
Assault Rifle |
Mid-range accuracy is genuinely frightening. The other S-tier AR. Map doesn't matter. |
|
S |
M4A1 |
Carbine |
Best carbine in the game. Classic. Undefeated. Makes other carbines feel like prototypes. |
|
S |
M2010 ESR |
Sniper Rifle |
Highest bullet velocity in class. Headshots connect. Long-range king before L115 proved itself. |
|
A |
M16A4 |
Assault Rifle |
Season 3 arrival. Full-auto with burst option. Historically elite. Needs patch confirmation. |
|
A |
L115 |
Sniper Rifle |
Deadly bolt-action with heavy stopping power. Competes with M2010. Golmud is its home. |
|
A |
RPK-74M |
LMG |
Controllable, consistent, better fire rate than base RPKM. Support's most reliable new tool. |
|
A |
QBZ-192 |
Carbine |
Strong mid-range carbine. Just below M4A1 in every metric that matters. |
|
A |
KTS100 MK8 |
LMG |
Excellent chokepoint control. Pairs with RPK-74M for a Support class that makes enemies miserable. |
|
A |
PW5A3 |
SMG |
Best SMG for point fights and indoor clears. Knows its role and executes it without drama. |
|
B |
SOR-556 MK2 |
Assault Rifle |
Solid AR. Lacks the edge of S-tier picks. Will carry you if S-tier is unavailable or unfamiliar. |
|
B |
UMG-40 |
SMG |
Close-range capable. Gets outclassed in the open. Use inside buildings, not on Golmud's flanks. |
|
B |
SVDM |
DMR |
Reliable marksman rifle. Not spectacular. Fills the lane-control role without embarrassing you. |
|
C |
M39 EMR |
DMR |
Less consistent than SVDM. Recoil undermines its range promise. B-tier ceilings, C-tier floors. |
|
C |
M60 |
LMG |
Heavy, average output, no real strategic advantage over KTS or Kord. Bring it to nostalgia, leave it there. |
|
D |
SL9 |
SMG |
Unremarkable in every category. There is no situation where this is the correct answer. |
|
D |
PW72 |
SMG |
Great mobility and fire rate. Zero stopping power. You will lose every fair fight. |
|
D |
L85 |
Assault Rifle |
High fire rate, higher recoil, bloom that actively betrays you. Expert-only and not worth it. |

The M433 assault rifle. Balanced recoil, consistent TTK, and dominates at every range that matters in the current meta.
Yes: it is A-tier at minimum. Full-auto and burst-fire options give flexibility. Whether it reaches S-tier depends on patch balance updates.
RPK-74M is the clean answer: low recoil, controlled range output, built for holding long approaches on large open maps.
Partially. Hybrid ARs and LMGs translate. SMGs lose value in long-rotation REDSEC play compared to standard Conquest lobbies.
Not definitively yet. Both are bolt-action S/A-tier picks. L115 excels at Golmud distances. M2010 leads on raw bullet velocity data.
