Damage ARC Enemies in Old Town: ARC Raiders Trial Guide
The ARC Raiders Cantina Legend rank has no visible threshold, no region separation, and no guaranteed spots. Our guide covers scoring, modifier window

Cantina Legend is not a tier you grind toward on a progress bar. It is a dynamic snapshot: the top 1,000 Hotshot players globally, recalculated every week when the trial period closes on Monday. PC and console players share the same leaderboard. All regions compete together. There is no regional protection and no separate queue — just one global pile of points and 1,000 slots.
The ARC Raiders rank system has 14 tiers total: Rookie I-III, Tryhard I-III, Wildcard I-III, Daredevil I-III, Hotshot, and Cantina Legend. Every tier except Hotshot and Cantina is split into three sub-ranks. You cannot skip Hotshot to reach Cantina. That includes you, the person with 400,000 points sitting in Daredevil III. The game does not care.
ARC Raiders trials unlock at Level 15. Until then, none of this is your problem.
Because the threshold is a moving global cutoff — not a fixed point total — the game shows "Unchanged" on your Hotshot leaderboard. It is not bugged. It is not hiding something. The system genuinely cannot tell you where you stand against the entire world until the week ends and all scores are finalized. You are playing blind. Everyone is.
Each week brings five challenges visible in the Trials menu. You score points by completing the specified objective in a single expedition. Your best run per challenge is kept. Bad runs are ignored. You can retry as many times as you like, which is convenient, because you will need to.

Your five personal-best scores are combined. That combined total is your weekly leaderboard score. Your position in a 100-player division of identically-ranked players determines promotion, demotion, or stagnation.
Points only exist if you extract. Die with 300,000 score and you bring home nothing. The ARC Raiders weekly trials system does not award participation trophies to corpses.

Divisions are filled first-come, first-served within your rank. The first 100 players at Daredevil III to post any score that week form Division 1. The next 100 form Division 2. Starting later in the week can mean softer competition. This is not a secret. Competitive players already know it.
Once you reach Hotshot, the normal division system stops mattering for the Cantina Legend rank. You can finish first in your Hotshot division every single week and never reach Cantina if your point total does not land in the global top 1,000. First place in a Hotshot division is cosmetically satisfying and functionally meaningless for Cantina qualification.
Historically, the Cantina Legend threshold has hovered around 70,000-100,000 points to stay safe mid-season, with top performers accumulating 250,000-300,000+ points. In the final week, when everyone suddenly remembers they wanted end-of-season rewards, that bar moves up. Squads posting 300,000+ weekly scores are not rare at the top of Hotshot. Solo players face a structural disadvantage: squad scoring multiplies actions per player, creating a gap that mechanical skill alone rarely closes.

The fastest path through Cantina-level scoring involves 2x map modifier events: Night Raid, Electromagnetic Storm, Hidden Bunker. These double your Trial points for the same actions. Missing a modifier window means needing twice the raid time to match scores of people who planned their week around it. Top-ranked players structure their entire weekly ARC Raiders grind schedule around modifier rotations.
Beating the lowest-ranked player currently in Cantina Legend does not promote you. Cantina is not a single leaderboard board you knock someone off of. It is a weekly recalculation across all Hotshot boards globally. Up to 600 of the current 1,000 Cantina slots can turn over in a single week. The player sitting at rank 983 with 60 points is there because they had a good week. They may not be there next Monday.
The earliest you can reach Cantina is Week 3 of a season. Season resets place returning players two ranks below their previous finish. Former Cantina Legends return at Daredevil II and must pass through Hotshot before the system will consider them for Cantina again. You cannot bypass this. The game is not going to make an exception for you.
Being in Cantina Legend for seven consecutive weeks and then finishing outside the top 1,000 in the final week means your end-of-season reward is Hotshot cosmetics. Cantina rewards require a Cantina finish in the terminal week, specifically. Seven prior weeks of glory count for nothing on the reward screen.
To qualify for Cantina end-of-season rewards, you must enter the final week already at Hotshot or Cantina. If you are Daredevil anything, the highest reward available to you is Hotshot. That is your ceiling regardless of point total.

The meta for ARC Raiders trials scoring shifts with the weekly rotation. Currently, supply drop searches, snowball trials, and flying enemy damage (Leapers, Wasps, Hornets) generate the highest weekly totals for squads. Solo players score better on probe breaching and specific damage trials where squad kill-stealing is a liability, not an asset.
At Hotshot, you need at least 50,000-80,000 points to avoid demotion risk and closer to 250,000+ to realistically compete for Cantina. That is not a typo. The gap between Cantina and lower Hotshot is not incremental. It is a different time investment entirely.

No. Season start locks players at Daredevil II maximum. Hotshot requires progression. Hotshot is required before Cantina. Week 3 is the earliest math allows.
Unknown. The game does not display it. No live API provides it. Aim for 250,000+ weekly. That is as precise as anyone can get.
No. Division rank is irrelevant for Cantina. Only your global point rank among all Hotshot players determines eligibility.
No. Players are reshuffled every Monday. Fail to hit top 1,000 any given week and you drop back to Hotshot. Nothing is permanent.
No. PC and console share one global leaderboard. There is no platform separation at any rank tier, including Cantina Legend.
