Community Fresh Event Phase 4 is live: hit level 60, farm Tarnished Undermine Reals, and raid Molten Core through Blackwing Lair before Phase 5.

Congratulations, you survived three phases of pretending experience bars don't exist. Phase 4 of the Season of Discovery Community Fresh Event is now live, and the leaders of this fan run reenactment decided one final phase wasn't enough torture, so they bolted on two more. Turn your experience bar back on, stop cosplaying as a level 50, and go be a real adult with level 60 and a raid lockout.
This is the guide for the wow classic season of discovery phase 4 content wave: every dungeon, every raid, every daily grind zone, and the currency you'll be farming until your mouse hand files a workers' comp claim. Consider it the only sod phase 4 level 60 guide you need, assuming you can read past the sarcasm.
The previous phase dumped you in Stratholme for a level up raid that should have shoved a fat chunk of experience into your face. From level 50 you get two new Incursion zones stuffed with daily quests, because Blizzard has decided your personality is now "does dailies": Feralas and the Hinterlands.
At level 53 you unlock the Blackrock Eruption Event in Searing Gorge, another daily quest hub, because apparently one wasn't enough to keep you addicted. If you hoarded Student Fodder from the Cozy Sleeping Bag line like a squirrel preparing for a nuclear winter, burn it now for rested experience. Running dry? Crawl into Blackrock Depths and finish Ever After for three more.
Important: none of this experience grinding matters if you don't actually walk into the dungeons. Reading a guide has never once leveled a character, shocking as that may be.
On your slow crawl to 60 you'll be farming Tarnished Undermine Real daily, the new currency that funds your Tier 1 and Tier 2 set pieces, shoulder enchants, and a class quest chain that unlocks an epic weapon. Naturally, tarnished undermine real farming is hidden behind the most miserable dungeons in the game. This is your farming route, and every stop on it doubles as a small act of self harm:
Dungeon | Level Range | Emotional Cost |
|---|---|---|
52 to 60 | You will get lost. Everyone does. | |
55 to 60 | The new demon fall canyon dungeon, same old suffering. | |
55 to 60 | Rend Blackhand judges your gear silently. | |
58 to 60 | Three wings, one collective sigh. | |
55 to 60 | Corridors designed by a sadist architect. | |
58 to 60 | Bring a timer, bring patience, bring both. |
Once you've hoarded enough Reals, spend them on toys, Molten Core trade goods you can now buy instead of farming the raid for them, and recipes such as Recipe: Flask of the Titans. It's basically a vending machine that accepts dungeon suffering as currency.
Unlike the earlier phases, which handed you a single new raid like a toddler being given one toy at a time, Phase 4 unloads the whole toy box: Molten Core, Onyxia's Lair, Zul'Gurub, Blackwing Lair, and three instanced world bosses: Lord Kazzak, Azuregos, and Prince Thunderaan.
A properly executed molten core attunement or blackwing lair raid run separates guilds that read a wow classic raid guide from guilds that wipe on trash for three hours and blame the healer. Skip the onyxia's lair attunement and you'll be the one standing outside the door while your guild pulls without you. Same goes for anyone treating this like a casual stroll through a zul'gurub raid guide instead of an actual checklist. Get attuned before raid night, because nothing kills morale like forty people staring at a locked door.
This is the compendium for Guild Found players locked to the phase schedule. Phase 5 lands on July 30th, so enjoy this brief window of pretending Phase 4 is the finale, the way we all pretended Phase 3 was too.

Community Fresh Event Phase 4 is live: hit level 60, farm Tarnished Undermine Reals, and raid Molten Core through Blackwing Lair before Phase 5.

Phase 4 raises the level cap to 60, the final leveling milestone of the whole Community Fresh Event.
It buys Tier 1 and 2 set pieces, shoulder enchants, an epic weapon quest, toys, recipes, and Molten Core trade goods.
Molten Core, Onyxia's Lair, Zul'Gurub, Blackwing Lair, plus instanced Kazzak, Azuregos, and Thunderaan.
Yes, Onyxia's Lair, Molten Core, and Blackwing Lair all require completing separate attunement questlines first.
Phase 5 is scheduled for July 30th, immediately following this extended Phase 4 window.
