Marvel Rivals Season 7 Tier List: The Absolute Meta
Deadpool's iconic Maid-Pool skin hits Marvel Rivals Apr 10 via the Hospitality 101 balloon Lucky Draw. Best case: 100 Units. Worst case: 2,400.
Let us be direct. The Marvel Rivals Hospitality 101 event is a limited-time Lucky Draw running from April 10 through May 7, 2026, with the singular purpose of delivering Deadpool's maid costume to the people who want it and extracting a variable amount of currency from everyone else in the process. The event is the fourth time NetEase has used its balloon-popping gacha format to distribute a Legendary skin, following the Psylocke Daring Daifuku (December 2025), and Gambit and Rogue's Mr. & Mrs. X wedding costumes (February 2026). If you were hoping this format would quietly disappear, you were wrong and you are still wrong.
The thematic framing, as presented on the official Marvel Rivals social accounts, is a hospitality school run by Deadpool: apparently after getting expelled from ESU: with Jeff the Land Shark as his co-instructor. The in-universe logic does not need to survive contact with scrutiny. What matters is the maid costume, which is real, is Legendary rarity, and cannot be purchased directly in the store under any circumstances.
"The entire event exists to make you feel like you might get a premium skin for 100 Units, while making sure you probably won't."
The Deadpool Maid-Pool skin Marvel Rivals is not an original game creation. Maid-Pool first appeared in 2008 Deadpool comics, making it one of the character's more enduring joke costumes from print, and one that fans have specifically requested for in-game use since before Deadpool was even added to the roster in January 2026. It is a Legendary costume, which in Marvel Rivals terms means it comes with its own visual effects, MVP animation, and in-game presence that base-tier skins do not have.
The visual design gives Deadpool a short maid dress, stockings, a bow tail, and thematic pink tones on both his weapons and his chest logo. If the goal was maximum incongruity between the character's established violent persona and the costume's domestic aesthetic, the design team succeeded without apparent effort. The Deadpool In Your Area ultimate ability VFX: purchasable separately: replaces the character models that crowd the screen with maid-themed versions, which is the kind of detail that either sells you on the skin immediately or confirms you were never going to buy it.
Jeff the Land Shark's matching Maid to Chomp costume is a separate item. Jeff gets pink ears and a large bow with a bell, which the official announcement describes as "cleaning has never been this bitey." Jeff's skin is sold directly in the store starting April 9 at 10 PM ET. It is not gacha-locked, it is not event-exclusive, and it does not require any of this. Jeff lives without consequence.
Comic Origins Matter Here The maid costume originates from a 2008 run of Deadpool comics. It is not a game-original design. It has spent roughly 18 years in the cultural memory of Deadpool fans before arriving in Marvel Rivals, which partially explains the disproportionate demand for it. People have been waiting for this specifically for a long time. NetEase is aware of this. The pricing structure reflects this awareness.
The Hospitality 101 Lucky Draw presents players with six balloons. Each balloon contains one item from the event bundle. You spend Units to pop balloons. The price of each pop escalates with every attempt, following a fixed schedule that has remained consistent across all previous Lucky Draw events. The Maid-Pool skin is the jackpot item: if you pop it at any point, all remaining unrevealed rewards are automatically added to your account at no further charge.

Best case: 100 Units (jackpot on pop 1) Worst case: 2,400 Units (all 6 pops) Pop 6 is guaranteed jackpotStandard Legendary = ~2,400 Units
The math deserves attention. The cost ceiling of 2,400 Units matches what a Legendary skin bundle would cost as a direct store purchase. NetEase uses this as justification that the system is not predatory, since you will never pay more than market rate. What they do not emphasize is that the odds are not uniformly distributed across the six balloons. The Legendary skin occupies a disproportionately low probability slot at the start of the draw: approximately 5% on the first pop: meaning most players will clear through lower-value cosmetics before encountering it.

Odds are based on the Psylocke first-anniversary event structure, which established this template. Exact Maid-Pool percentages match the previously confirmed system but are not officially re-published per event. Odds adjust slightly upward after each failed jackpot pop.
What this means in practice: the system is engineered so that the pop-one outcome of receiving the skin at the cheapest possible cost is technically possible but statistically unlikely. The four minor rewards: spray, emoji pack, nameplate, and emote: collectively occupy the overwhelming majority of the initial probability pool, because Marvel Rivals Lucky Draw odds are weighted against the headline item by design. Players who noticed this in December 2025 described it as "misleading," since the visual presentation of six balloons implies roughly even odds.

Regardless of what order you pop balloons, completing all six unlocks the Maid-Pool skin bundle contents in their entirety. The bundle includes:

Owning the Maid-Pool skin is not the end of the monetization journey. NetEase has built an additional customization layer on top of the base skin, purchasable separately using Unstable Molecules. Unstable Molecules |
Used for skin Chromas and Ultimate VFX (600 per unlock). Earned via Battle Pass or 1:1 Lattice conversion. |

Currency associated with Battle Pass progression or rewards. |
Earned through daily missions and seasonal challenges. Used to progress the Battle Pass. Some Battle Pass pages award Unstable Molecules as free rewards.
To access the customization options after owning the skin, navigate to Heroes → Deadpool → Cosmetics → Maid-Pool → Customize. If the Customize button is absent on a given skin, that skin has no Chroma support. The Ultimate Ability VFX is also accessed from this menu and costs 600 Unstable Molecules independently of any Chroma purchases. Both alterations affect Intro Animations, MVP sequences, and Emotes in addition to in-match visuals.
Regional Restriction Notice Based on precedent from the Wedding Wishes Mr. & Mrs. X event, players in Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands may not see the balloon mechanic at all due to local gambling regulations. Those regions were instead offered a direct bundle purchase at the spending cap price (2,400 Units for this event). If you are in one of these regions, congratulations: you are the only people in this situation who are not being asked to gamble.

The Marvel Rivals free Units Maid-Pool question is predictable and the answer is limited. Units in Marvel Rivals are earned through daily mission completions, seasonal event challenges, login bonuses, and: critically: the Battle Pass. The Season 7 Tablet of Life and Time Battle Pass includes Unit rewards at specific pages, accessible via Chrono Token accumulation. The free tier of the pass provides a baseline, and the premium tier accelerates access.
Realistically, a player who has not been banking Units throughout Season 7 is unlikely to accumulate 2,400 before May 7 through free play alone. Players who have banked consistently since launch may have comfortable reserves. The standard advice: which applies to every Lucky Draw: is to enter only if you have the full 2,400 Units available, because spending 600 and stopping with a nameplate and a spray is a uniquely unpleasant outcome.
