Diablo 4 Season 14 Rogue: Rain of Arrows Pit 150

This is a Rain of Arrows Rogue build, currently the strongest non-bugged setup for pushing content in Diablo 4 season 14, the Death Awakening season. The ultimate stops being an ultimate and turns into a spam button. You cast it, it refunds itself, you cast it again. This build has legitimately cleared Pit 150, no bugs required, unlike some of your favorite classes right now.

Before you get excited, understand this is not a leveling build. Gearing up first is mandatory, and skipping that step means you play a sad, clunky version of a Rogue that dies to its own cooldowns.

Talisman and Sets

Your talisman uses a set that triggers bonuses from incomplete sets, which is a fancy way of saying you get free stuff for wearing half a wardrobe. The Narrow Eye set is the main five piece. Basic skill casts generate Vengeance stacks, each stack adding damage, and while those stacks exist, Dark Shroud fires automatically and your Marksman skills hit harder. Your core skill, Rain of Arrows, becomes an auto-triggered generator on top of that.

The second, incomplete set is a two piece from Sightless Eye. Entering Stealth cuts your ultimate cooldown, and breaking Stealth within six seconds pumps your damage further. Casting your ultimate instantly refreshes Concealment, which then grabs every passive from that skill for free while shaving incoming damage.

Mercenaries

Take Subo as your primary companion. He scouts terrain and boosts your critical damage, which is more effort than most of your party members ever put in. Take Aldkin, the blacksmith, for support, since he drops a bastion whenever you slap a control effect on an enemy.

Specialization and Core Numbers

Run Preparation. Spending 75 energy shaves 5 seconds off your ultimate cooldown and reduces incoming damage. Since your entire rotation revolves around casting the ultimate as fast as possible, two stats decide whether you're a god or a corpse: cooldown reduction, aim for roughly 67%, and maximum energy, minimum 225, ideal 300. Hit both and Rain of Arrows becomes nearly permanent.

Do not attempt this build with garbage gear and expect it to work. It will not. You'll stand there pressing a button on a ten second cooldown wondering why you're dead, while the guide you skimmed told you exactly why.

Amulet AspectAspect of AftermathUltimate restores energy scaling with its skill rank
Ring 1Signet of PelghainBonus damage to frozen enemies
Ring 2Scoundrel's KissDamage scales with Ferocity stacks

Amulet and rings both want cooldown reduction as a priority stat, and the amulet specifically wants ranks to Rain of Arrows stacked through affixes. This is the part where a best Rogue endgame build stops being theory and starts requiring an actual crafting bench visit.

Skill Tree

Your generator pulls enemies together and applies weaken while boosting your crit chance. Dash gets you around the map fast, triggers Stealth through your set, and buffs your damage while also cutting its own cooldown and raising crit chance. Shadow Clone, sorry, Shadow Step, auto casts thanks to your set, reduces damage taken, and improves both evasion and crit chance. Concealment needs no passive choices since your set unlocks all of them automatically, so pick the modifier that increases Suppression charges, and exiting Concealment further boosts crit chance. Smoke Grenade creates a cloud under your feet, standing inside it raises crit chance and grants Stealth, and its duration gets extended. Cold Imbuement adds cold damage, grants a barrier on being hit, and applies Chill. Your main skill, the Rain of Arrows ultimate, scales with Ferocity charges and applies Vulnerable through its modifier.

Gameplay

This gameplay is somewhat piano style, meaning you rotate several buttons instead of holding one down like a caveman. Cold Imbuement gets reactivated the moment its effect drops off. Dash serves double duty, moving you fast and stacking Ferocity for the damage buff. Your generator and Smoke Grenade both get pressed regularly to maintain Stealth and set bonuses. Standing inside your own Smoke Grenade cloud is mandatory while you fire Rain of Arrows at whatever twitches.

Once cooldown reduction and energy hit their targets, the ultimate returns to you almost instantly, and every other skill on this bar rides that same wave back to availability. There is no rocket science here, just a Diablo 4 Rogue Paragon board setup, a rotation, and a corpse pile that keeps growing. It currently sits near the top of the entire ladder for this Diablo 4 farming build category, exploit builds notwithstanding.

What resource pool does this Rogue build need?

Aim for 225 minimum energy, 300 ideal, since cooldown reduction depends entirely on spending it.

Is this Rain of Arrows build good for leveling?

No, it needs specific gear first; level with something else, switch once equipped.

Which unique boots are mandatory for this build?

Beastfall Boots, since they dump your resource on cast and scale ultimate damage directly.

What cooldown reduction percentage should I target?

Roughly 67%, combined with high energy, keeps Rain of Arrows nearly permanently available.

Does this build require Mythic Uniques to clear Pit 150?

No, it clears Pit 150 legitimately without mythics, though mythics push performance further.
