How your score counts

Your leaderboard place comes from your best round on Mars Survival, and the board counts runs from Standard or Cursed on Mars.

Event timing and rewards

Placement rewards

  • Top 30: Bird Brain (Emblem), Exit Strategy (GobbleGum)
  • Top 15: Planet Flamingo (Weapon Camo), Flavor Hex (GobbleGum)
  • Top 10: Idle Eyes (GobbleGum), Armor Gettin’ (GobbleGum)
  • Top 5: Mars (Weapon Camo), Gift Card (GobbleGum)
  • 1st place: Hidden Power (GobbleGum)

Round milestone rewards

  • Round 10: Die Pitched (GobbleGum)
  • Round 25: Ornamental (Weapon Charm)
  • Round 50: Elemental Exposure (GobbleGum)
  • Round 100: Feathered Idol (Kogot-7 Blueprint)

Mode choice you pick first

You can run this in Standard, and you can run this in Cursed. Cursed tier three can give you golden armor plates, ultra rarity access, and Pack-a-Punch level four.

Your early game setup

You start by farming points with the Akita wall buy, and you keep it for a long time so you can fund perks and Pack-a-Punch. You keep doing TED tasks, since they can give perks, perma perks, Aether tools, and Pack-a-Punch crystals. You start hitting the box for the LGM1 after your base setup feels ready, since early spins can drain points while you still need perks and power.

How your score counts

Weapons you want before the long grind

Your target kit

  • LGM1 wonder weapon for your main killing tool.
  • Akita as your ammo-mod gun, since wall ammo keeps your loop simple.
  • One box gun with big ammo, like an AR or LMG, so you refresh ammo mods without living on wall buys.

Ammo mods and augments

  • Fireworks ammo mod: Starburst, Starlight.
  • Fireworks ammo mod: Shortfuse.
  • Brain Rot ammo mod: Caustic Fumes, Extension.
  • Brain Rot ammo mod: Super Serum.

Emergency weapon note

TED tasks often give you Ray Gun Mark I early, so you keep it as a panic tool until you finish your full setup.

The elite problem and how you solve it

Your real danger comes from Uber Claus and the Claus cores, since they soak damage and their shock  can melt you fast in late rounds. You craft Hunterbots, then you throw the hunter drones up so they lock onto Uber Claus and cores and delete them fast. War machines burst them too, yet crafting them non-stop eats salvage, so you lean on Hunterbots and save salvage for later.

If you run out of Hunterbots, you pop Ether Shroud and you run back to the crafting table right away, since cores left alive can end the run fast.

The main spot and the loop you repeat

You train at the bottom of the temple, right in front of the pedestal, and you keep the horde in one smooth circle. When ammo mods light up, you proc them, then you swap to the LGM1 and burn zombies while the mods cool down.

Weapons you want before the long grind

Anti-gravity rule you respect

Anti-gravity turns on and off during the match, so your spacing changes mid-round. When anti-gravity is on, zombies move slow and you get free space, so you keep the circle wide and calm. When it turns off, speed comes back, so you tighten the path and you keep your exits ready.

Escape reset you use

You can run up to the top of the temple and jump down to reset the train, and you also cross the map to reset when elites break the circle.

Tactical and lethal choice

Casmirs and monkey bombs can fail you here, since anti-gravity makes them bounce and delay, and they do not help versus Uber Claus and cores. You rely on Hunterbots for elites, and you keep stim shots ready for raw survival moments.

Time management so you keep the run alive

This map can take hours for deep rounds, so you plan your session like a marathon and you save and quit when fatigue starts. Save and quit bugs got fixed during the year, so you can keep one save file across the weekend without losing TED tasks.

CoD Bo7 Mars Guide | Survival leaderboard FAQ

What is the fastest early setup on Mars Survival

You buy Akita early for cheap ammo, then you farm points while opening your route, then you start TED tasks so perks and Pack-a-Punch help you scale into mid rounds.

When should you start spinning the box for LGM1

You spin after your base is funded, since early box hits can drain points, and you still need perks plus Pack-a-Punch to make the run feel safe and steady.

What weapons should you carry for the long grind

You want LGM1 for damage, Akita for wall ammo, and one box gun with big ammo so you refresh ammo mods without running back to buys too often.

Which ammo mods and augments work best here

You run Fireworks with Starburst or Starlight, plus Shortfuse, and you run Brain Rot with Caustic Fumes or Extension, plus Super Serum, so procs stay strong during the train.

How do you deal with Uber Claus and Claus cores

You craft Hunterbots, then you throw them up when Uber Claus appears, since they lock on and delete cores fast, and you keep Ether Shroud for emergency runs back to crafting.

What is the main training loop spot on Mars

You train at the bottom of the temple near the pedestal, you keep one smooth circle, you proc ammo mods when ready, then you swap to LGM1 while mods cool down.

How do you play the anti-gravity phases

When anti-gravity is on, you keep the loop wide and calm, and when it flips off, you tighten your path and keep a clean exit route, so speed changes do less damage to you.

What tactical gear should you trust

You rely on Hunterbots for elites, and you keep stim shots for raw survival, since throwable distractions can act weird during anti-gravity and can fail at the worst moment.
