Black Ops 7 Season 5 Release Date: Everything Confirmed
New Black Ops 1 Zombies guide is live: all 11 maps, perks, power-ups, and Easter egg walkthroughs from Kino der Toten to Moon. Dive in.

A survival document for people who chose to spend their evenings reloading a shotgun while being chased by re-animated corpses in a 1960s theater. No judgment. Much judgment.
This black ops 1 zombies guide exists because the in-game tutorial consists of exactly zero sentences and a mystery box that hates you personally. Eleven maps, four idiots with guns, and a points system that punishes hesitation like it's a war crime. Sit down. Reload. Try not to die in round three like everyone's first run.
Every entry in the black ops 1 zombies maps list arrives with its own flavor of suffering. Kino hands you a theater and hell hounds; Moon hands you a vacuum-sealed death trap with a hacker device. Progress, apparently.
| Map | How You Get It | Notable Torment |
|---|---|---|
| Nacht der Untoten | Base game (WaW carryover) | One room, zero mercy, the map that started this whole obsession |
| Verruckt | Base game | Asylum corridors, power switch placed as far from spawn as spatially possible |
| Shi No Numa | Base game | Wunderwaffe DG-2 lives here; so do swamp gateways that flood with hounds |
| Der Riese | Base game | Three teleporters, one mainframe, patience required |
| Kino der Toten | Default BO1 map | No Easter egg, pure arcade grind, theater curtains conceal the power |
| Five | Terminal code / DLC | Pentagon setting, Death Machine power-up, JFK jokes nobody asked for |
| Ascension | First Strike (Map Pack 1) | Space monkeys that steal your perks out of pure spite |
| Call of the Dead | Escalation (Map Pack 2) | George Romero as an unkillable celebrity zombie boss |
| Shangri-La | Annihilation (Map Pack 3) | Shriekers, napalm zombies, corridors built like a claustrophobia test |
| Moon | Rezurrection (Map Pack 4) | Oxygen rooms, a P.E.S. suit, and infinite-spawn zombies if you're careless |
Kino der toten easter egg hunters will be disappointed: there isn't one. It's the tutorial map disguised as a full experience. Power is behind the stage curtains, both side paths cost the same, and crawler zombies will drop from the roof the moment you feel comfortable.
Ascension was the first map to feature a proper ascension zombies easter egg, and it introduced PhD Flopper, which remains one of the better perks in the entire franchise. The space monkeys arrive on a timer, steal a random perk, and force you to buy it back like a toll booth with fur.
Call of the dead zombies swaps the usual cast for Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker, and Danny Trejo, then adds a zombified George Romero who refuses to stay dead, which is thematically on-brand for a horror director.
A shangri-la zombies guide will always mention the Focusing Stone quest, tight corridors, and monkeys that steal perks worse than Ascension's. The moon zombies easter egg caps the original storyline, requiring Richtofen, a full squad, and both prior DLC Easter eggs already completed. Treyarch clearly wanted a filter for who actually cared.
Understanding black ops 1 zombies perks is the difference between round 15 and a controller thrown across the room. Prices scale with usefulness, mostly.
Juggernog : more health, less crying. Buy first unless you enjoy dying to a single hit.
Speed Cola : halves reload time; mandatory for LMGs and anything with a tiny magazine.
Quick Revive : solo self-revive, or halved revive time in co-op. Cheap, unglamorous, essential.
Double Tap Root Beer : extra rate of fire, extra ammo consumption, extra dead zombies.
PhD Flopper : explosion immunity plus a diving nuke. Turns your dive-to-prone into a small massacre.
Stamin-Up : faster sprint, longer sprint. For when standing still is a death sentence.
Deadshot Daiquiri : auto-aims at heads. Situational, occasionally a lifesaver.
Mule Kick : a third weapon slot. Lose it on death, so don't get greedy.
Power-Up | Effect |
|---|---|
Nuke | Kills every zombie on the map, hands you 400 points for the privilege |
Carpenter | Rebuilds every barricade instantly |
2X Points | Doubles all point income temporarily |
Insta-Kill | One hit ends anything, briefly turns you into the apex predator |
Max Ammo | Refills everything you're carrying |
Death Machine | Free mini-gun, no sprinting, exclusive to select maps |
Pack a punch black ops 1 upgrades a weapon into something that actually keeps up with later rounds, usually behind a teleporter-and-switch puzzle unique to each map. Always power it before round twenty; a stock weapon in round twenty-five is a slow, dignified death.
Beyond that, the fundamentals rarely change: leave two zombies alive between rounds to manage your setup, train in circles rather than standing still, and never open the mystery box when you're one bad roll from getting cornered. The box does not care about your feelings, and neither do the hell hounds it occasionally interrupts.

Kino der Toten. Simple layout, no Easter egg required, plenty of room to run circles around mistakes.
Locate the switch, pay the point cost, flip it. Every map hides it somewhere inconvenient on purpose.
Juggernog, unless you enjoy being one-shot by round four zombies for no reason at all.
Yes, a full squad, Richtofen, and both Call of the Dead and Shangri-La Easter eggs already finished.
Extremely. Chain lightning through crowds saves ammo and dignity simultaneously. Worth every point gambled.
