ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Release Date & Overview
The Medical Research Wing trial is back. Go to Stella Montis, loot everything that opens, and don't die before you extract

You go to Stella Montis. You open everything that can be opened inside the Medical Research Wing. You extract without dying. That's the whole thing. Every container you search awards 134 pts base: no modifier games anymore, the 2x Major Map Condition bonus was removed in patch 1.26.0. So the ceiling is now honest: you loot more, you score more.
The trial is not timed per run: your points accumulate across multiple raids. But here's the part that will personally insult you if you forget it: you must extract successfully to bank any score. Die three rooms from the exit with 30 containers looted and you get exactly nothing.
Do not skip this The trial's in-game boundary marker is smaller than the actual scoring zone. Containers outside the dotted line still count. Loot past it. The game is not lying to you for once.
Each container you open is worth 134 pts. The ARC Raiders weekly trial uses a simple milestone system: no diminishing returns, no combo multipliers, no mercy.

Twenty-three containers for 3 stars. The Medical Research wing holds significantly more than that across two floors. The Stella Montis Medical Storage key room alone can push you past the threshold on its own if you're lucky: assuming someone hasn't already cracked it open and helped themselves.
This is a looting trial, not a combat trial. You are not here to fight. You are here to rifle through drawers like a doctor's office burglar. Keep it light and cheap: a free loadout works perfectly. Put nothing expensive on the line for this.
Free Loadout Notice You are looting a single building. You do not need gear worth more than the reward. Use a free loadout. Risk nothing. Extract. Repeat. It's not cowardice: it's arithmetic.

Use Aggression-based matchmaking to filter into lower-aggression lobbies. The Medical Research Wing is a dense loot zone that draws other players like free samples at a grocery store. You do not want PvP while methodically opening every trash bin in a three-room corridor.

If you keep landing in hostile lobbies: die or surrender four to five times without shooting anyone. The matchmaking system will quietly shuffle you toward PvE-leaning sessions. This is not a secret. It is just mildly sad.
The container loot locations in Medical Research span both ground and upper floors. Not every spawn is guaranteed: some spots are empty on a given raid. Search everything anyway. The time cost of checking an empty drawer is three seconds. The cost of missing a full medical cabinet is 134 points you will never get back this run.

The breach-able containers: data servers and electrical units: require a Breacher charge to open. Bring one if you care about maximizing the Stella Montis loot score. Leave it home if you're here for a casual 3-star and want to explain that decision to no one.
There is no optimal route handed to you on a laminated card. The Medical Research Wing has a ground floor and an upper floor. Split it mentally in half, finish one section, move to the other. Congratulations, you have a route.
Boundary reminder The trial zone extends slightly beyond the dotted line on your map. Rooms adjacent to the marked Medical Research area still award points. If a container is physically inside those rooms, open it. The game will count it.
A locked room inside Medical Research. Requires the Stella Montis Medical Storage Key to open. Contains weapon cases, multiple cabinets, and additional containers: enough to push a mediocre run into a competitive one. Check if another player has already opened it before spending resources trying to find the key mid-raid.
If you have the key, use it: obviously. If you do not, check whether the door is already open when you arrive. Other raiders occasionally do something useful. The key room is the single highest-density container cluster in the wing and the primary reason top-end scores reach 10,000 to 15,000 points on a good run.
This trial scales to all party sizes. Squads are not strictly better: more players means more coverage of the wing, but containers are not shared score. You each need to physically open a container to receive points for it. A three-man squad tearing through the area does not triple your score unless every member is actively looting, not watching doorways like a professional statue.
Solo is quieter. Solo medical research looting is slower but gives you full control over thoroughness and extract timing. Nobody is about to run to extract at 2,200 points because they're bored.

Yes. Dying or disconnecting before extraction wipes your entire run's progress. Extract or it did not happen.
No. Patch 1.26.0 removed the Major Map Condition score bonus. Base rate is 134 points per container, always.
Absolutely. You need 23 containers. The wing has far more. No premium gear required whatsoever.
Top performers report 10,000 to 15,000 points. Requires the key room and thorough multi-floor coverage.
Yes. The scoring zone extends beyond the in-game map indicator. Loot past the line: it counts.
